i bought an iphone 4 but i keep on geting no service in the carier section, can somebody please help me?
If it is an iPhone 4 and uses a sim card, and you are in the US, then that must be an AT&T iPhone. Those are a lot of assumptions, I know, but where we are starting. If that iPhone has not been unlocked, then you need to get an AT&T sim card for it to get service indication...or if you are not US then a valid sim card for the carrier where you live.
If it is an unlocked iPhone you can use a sim card from any GSM carrier...in the US that means AT&T, Verizon and Sprint are CDMA carrieres and do not use sim cards.

I have bought my daughter an iPad mini and I've tried to set it all up for her and get her an apple account so she can download games and music but it keeps saying she doesn't meet the age restriction. How can I set this up for her as she has an iPod and would like to access music from iTunes ect.
There are age restrictions for an Apple ID. These are in place for a good reason. Simply set it up to use your iTunes account/Apple ID for purchases. If you don't have one, create one.

I recently just bought a Toshiba 3TB External Hard Drive. I am trying to partition it on my macbook, but it keeps returning and error message. The only thing I have changed is renamed easy drive.
Your problem is not Boot Camp, in fact, is your optical drive. Win XP requires indeed sp2, but also the internal drive, does not work from external optical drive.
For other possible tricks, please use the appropriate Boot Camp forum, not here. Mac OS X may be installed from both external and internal optical drive and/or internal/external partition of a disk, any disk. Windows is not so generous. -
I recently bought an iPhone 5s from boost mobile I thought service would be decent but it really *****. I'm wondering if there is any way I can switch carriers maybe to us cellular seeing that they recently added new prepaid plans and have good service in my area. I do know boost operates with sprint but not sure what I can do because having an expensive phone with crappy service really *****
Sorry, but Boost reportedly does not offer unlocking for iPhones, so you're stuck with them unless you can return the iPhone for a refund and cancel the service, or can sell the iPhone to someone who could use it with Boost.

i dropped my iphone 4 and it did the brick thing now i have it in recovery mode but it keeps saying unknown error cannot recover the iphone what could be wrong?

If I bought my iPhone in America from an Apple Store and have the receipt can I return it to a Japanese Apple store? Yes it is within 30 days, I bought it July 21st, meaning it is within 15 days, as well.
I would doubt it, but there's nobody here who can speak on behalf of Apple. Phone the Japanese store: they will know far better than us fellow users.

My daughter and I both have iPhone 4s'. Last night she switched to ios7 and I am still using ios6. I use the find my iPhone app to keep track of her and since the update it no longer works. Her phone says its on but when I try and locate it from either my phone or laptop it shows it offline. Any suggestions. It's my only peace of mind! Thanks!
Does she have her own iCloud account? You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone". So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account. Is that what happened in your case? -
We have three iPhones but one Apple ID because I pay for the acct whenever we buy Apps or music. However, it's frustrating that when we share iCloud it merges our notes and contacts even if we say "DO NOT MERGE." I've also lost my notes but could not recover them even if I did a restore.
You can share the same iTunes ID on all your devices and still have different iCloud accounts with different IDs on them. The ID you use for iTunes does not need to be the same as the ID used for iCloud.
If you want to migrate your devices to separate accounts, on the devices that will be moving save any photo stream photos to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll. Also email any synced notes to yourself so you can recreate them in the new account. Finally, if you are syncing any iWork documents with iCloud, go to the iWork app settings and turn off iCloud syncing.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Once the phones are all on separate accounts you can then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want from each account. -

Have not heard of that but here is what I would do - test after each step to see if the problem is solved
1. Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
2. If that does not work - back up to iTunes and restore to factory settings
3. Check to see if the problem is resolved before restoring from backup -
I recently updated and restored my Iphone on a Mac. My music was erased, therefore, I am trying to sync all of the music from my computer into the iPhone, but it says that I need to use the original computer/itunes in order to sync, but it is the same computer and iTunes account. The error reads: The iPhone, "Name" is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and a sync with this iTunes library? If I click "Erase and Sync," will it delete my contacts, apps, etc?

You selected Encrypt iPhone Backups in iTunes. Then you entered a password.

I changed my apple ID successfully online on my iPad and iPhone but when I wish to buy an app, the old ID comes up automatically and there seems to be nothing I can do, so I cannot update or buy any apps.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too. -
Hi, I've been playing Smurf's village for a year now and just last week, i tried to get into the app but it keeps rejecting and goes back to the main page. Is there any reason for this? I've been updating the app everytime and now it's not letting me in. Pls advise. Tq
Reset the device, restart the device, try downloading any other app.
All of these are basic steps that could have been found by a simple search of the forums as a resolution for the issue.

Hello All, Main OS : Windows 8.1 Pro Virtual OS (Vmware): Windows server 2003 SAP is installed on Windows server 2003 I am able to work with sap on Windows 2003 but the log on pad is 640. I want to install the logon pad in windows 8 ... so that I ca
