I bought a black IPhone 5 online, but I wanted a white one. I haven't opened the box yet, could I change it( in the apple retail store)?
But can you return it after you buy it for more than 14 days? I bought it online, and i waited more than 2 weeks. Can I still return it? Thx.

You could always READ the article from which the question was posted as it explictily details how to find the IMEI and several other identifying numbers. Including ways to find them in iTunes without the phone.

All purchases are always going to be associated to the ID that was used to purchase/download them.
If you create an ID for your daughter you will want to check everywhere it is used to make sure you are not sharing messages and stuff. These would be iTunes/app store, iCloud, iMessages, and FaceTime.
Go thru settings and find all mention of your ID. -

Ask your retailer. At worst, you can sell your iPhone 5 independently (of Apple and your retailer) and separately purchase the later model.

No you cannot. The iPhone warranty is only good in the country of purchase. You would need to bring it back to the US, or send it to someone that could take it to an Apple store in the US. Apple will not accept international shipments.
