In that case it sounds like your DVDs have a physical problem or your DVD drive has an issue reading the DVD,
I would suggest you try making DMG inages of your DVDs, save them to your Mac and try installing from the disk images instead... (Disk Utility reads the DVDs in a slightly different way that can help get around certain physical issues)

Hi i recieved an ipod touch gen 5 for christmas and it worked perfectly on the 30th it decided to instantly shut down on me and over heat iv tried all of apples recommeded techniques but it wont work at all even when charging someone please help me!
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

How do I import a camera video from iphoto to imovie? I went to file, import, camera archives and the video I want I am not able to select. I even tried dragging it from my desktop, but it will not allow me to do so. Please help?

As I mentioned earlier, when I clicked on the App Store or iTunes Store, the message reads "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" or "Cannot connect to App Store" depending on which I clicked.
I did check iTunes & App Store, it used to show my Apple ID there, but somehow it shows empty there. I then manually typed in my Apple ID, it just won't work. I know for sure that my Apple ID works as I tried logging online using that ID fine, but my iPhone and iPA

Have you tried holding the centr button and menu. This will force a shutdown.

I am trying to unlock an Iphone that I just bought online. I have TMobile. The phone however says that I have to insert a valid sim card (which I don't have yet) in order to unlock the phone. Pleaseeeee urgent i need help. my iphone 5c is getting stuck at the end while restoring and after 2 hours it is exiting with error code (3). Itunes downloaded the 7.0.2 ipsw and it is failing to restore the phone. i tried this on many computers and on each computer I did the uninstall and the reinstall trick for itunes. Nothing worked and im left with a ******** stuff with no software installed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
Rather than try and run the update, you should choose the Restore option in iTunes. That will downlaod the latest release of iOS 7, and install it to the phone.
Note: Be sure to backup your data first, this WILL erase all the content on the device.

I recommend backing up to iTunes manually even if you backup to iCloud, as that will restore faster than an iCloud backup would.

So I have an Iphone 4S and decided to upgrade to a 5C. I used the Icloud and backed up my phone, and started to set up the Iphone 5C. So I enter my apple ID and password when prompted, then it asks me to select a back up, I choose the one I just created. Here is where it gets weird, another apple ID comes up, which also happens to be my mother inlaws. Now some back story, on my 4S, I used a laptop which was my mother inlaws old laptop. Would that have anything to with my Icloud back up though? I wouldn't think so but it not working. ANY input would be appreciated.
Sorry, all content bought using an Apple ID is forever tied to that Apple ID. Content cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
If you want to update/use those apps, you have to use the same Apple ID & password. -
