Try this:
On all impacted devices, go to settings, messages, send & receive and place a checkmark next to only those phone numbers and email addresses listed you want that device to recognize.

I upgraded to Maverick and since then I cannot paste an email address from my address book into the "To:" window. Why not?
You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will have to contact Support in the country where you and your iTunes account to get the questions reset.

That's not a battery recharge sign. It's telling you your phone is in recovery mode and you need to plug it into your computer running iTunes.

I upgraded my 2009 Mac to Mountain Lion yesterday but cannot add photos from my iPhoto library to contacts anymore. Drop down menu only shows "default, recent and camera" but I cannot get to iPhoto library. Help stated to choose Faces but I don't even get that far. How do I fix. Still works on iPad but not on Mac.
When you have iPhoto and Contacts open and try to drag a picture for iPhoto to the Contacts photo frame do you get a + symbol? if not you should! from there the the pop menu should appear and then you can select the picture and click on done

As mentioned above, when I opened Firefox this morning it installed automatically an update w/o me agreeing and I don't know what was isntalled. Since then I cannot open Firefox. Mozilla Crash Reporter opens and thell me Firefox had a problem and crashed. "We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts.

I press restart Firefox but I always just get the same message. I uninstalled it and downloaded it again, nothing is changing. I urgentlyu need to use the bookmarks as I don't have them in Explorer which I have to use now.
Thank youYou need "sysinternal's process explorer", it is free and can replace the Microsoft process explorer, that you get by "CTRL+ALT+DELETE". Either program will allow you to kill the instances of FF that didn't die as they should have, when you closed them. Sysinternal is easier to use, it is a graphic display with many options. Do not push "CTRL+ALT+DELETE" twice unless you want to reboot, that is its default behaviour under Microsoft.

i chage my internet provider and therefore email address. i deleted my old email address from my ipad and now i am not able to email from new email address nor will i cloud recongnize my new email address which is my apple id now. since i deleted my old email acct the cloud is not allowing me to chg this address in settting. the cloud still has my old email address listed.

I have purchased I phone 4S on April 30th 2014. Since I bought this phone, I have been facing issues such as Battery Back up, Software and Hardware issue and hang issue. I had visited I store last month where they just formatted my phone. The issues were not taken care completely, even till now the issues are on. GBHello, when you are having an error on your iPhone and going to the Apple store to get it taken care of, make sure you speak up and provide as much detail as you can. The first iPad Mini I had bought had errors on it, and I didn't speak up and provide further details on my issue.

I updated my BIOS (Acer Aspire 3830TG) recently and since then my battery is not charging.
I updated my BIOS from 1.10 to 1.12 and then my battery stopped charging but I can see that in the notification, it is mentioned that power is plugged in and battery is charging but as soon as I remove the power chord, the laptop is out of power. I again flashed to the previous BIOS i.e. 1.10 but it didnot help. Is there any other way to fix my laptop. Practically my laptop has now changed in to a desktop.

This model has some built in safety features with the battery, since you have changed the battery. There is a battery door switch located under the lowercase cover near RAM and if it is in the off position the battery will not work properly. Check and see if that resolves the issue. -
Is Firefox 4.0 compatible with Zorap (video chat)? I have used it perfectly with Firefox 3, but since I d/loaded 4.0 I am unable to use the program. Is there an option that I must adjust? Would appreciatre your help.

I did delete my cache also to help my PC speed up. I do not remember if this was before or after I noticed the problem of the missing e-mails. I have no problems that I know of with any other software.
Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -
Well last night after I had got off the phone it had froze up (never happened before) and then it it went blank. I would call it from my house phone and it would ring and vibrate but nothing showed up on the screen. I don't know where to go from here I just need desperate help. Please and thank you!
Try doing a hard reset, Hold the "Home & Power Buttons" down at same time, until you see the Apple Icon appear. Then let go of the buttons.
