this "serial number" obtained from Amazon or similar firms is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Here you have to go through "Adobe Store", and look for the button "Serial Number Request". Fill in the form and, after a while you will get a "real" serial number.

plugins disabled- java and flash. Unable to update. Have updated from their websites with everything else closed- still no update. If you purchased thru your carriers website you could try calling your nearest company owned store to see if they do an exchange when you receive the 16GB. Chances are they have a larger demand for the 16GB then the 32GB. You're still going to have to wait until your receive your 16GB though. At least that's how AT&T works.

Just try what LarryHN recommended. Move the iPhoto application from the Applications folder to the Trash, then go the main page of the App Store, sign into the store menu with your AppleID, enter iPhoto into the Search Field. When iPhoto is found in the store, look, if you can buy it for free. Probably there will be a "Get" button beside the application. Then you can install it for free.
Before you run the newly installed iPhoto, make sure you have a backup. You should really not risk to run a new iPhoto version on your iPhoto library, before you copied the iPhoto Library to a different drive.
iPhoto needs to convert the library to a different format, and that can go wrong in rare cases, but it happens. You simply need to have a copy of your library before you risk the library upgrade. -

I have the exact same issue. Started happening about the time iOS 5 was available. Thought it was just server overload with everyone trying to download it at once but it has been well over a week now. iTunes Support responded with a form letter response with links to solutions that I said I tried in my original email. Need to make sure my Amazon Downloader app still works if Apple doesn't want my money.

We'll need more information before anyone can be of much help. What model iPhone is it, what versions of iOS are running on the iPad 2 now, what exactly are you trying to update, and what version of iTunes are you running? And what exactly is going wrong (include error messages if any).
Once we have that information, someone here can probably offer advice. Note that you cannot sync content or upgrade iOS wirelessly until you get your iPhone and iPad up to iOS 5 and that requires that you connect those devices to your computer via the Dock-USB cable.

I had one iPhone 4S buy from Singapore, have been using this phone about a year,
Things happen when update from iOS 6.1.2 to iOS 6.1.3 (non-jail break phone).
After update, when on 3G, phone become no service or searching. Had change new SIM card carrier vision 14.1.
Things never change, so I did another restore using iTunes , things get worst, phone stuck in recovery mode and ending error (error-1)
Had tried few time and same error.
Note ITunes latest visionI had the same issue until yesterday. been struggling with it for the last 2 days. I bought the unlocked 4s from the store a week ago and now I cannot upgrade from 6.1 to the higher version.
Although, after searching a lot on the net, I was able to find a software that'll get you out of the recovery mode. Hope this helps. Install the software and click on the 'Recovery Mode Loop Fixer' (2nd tab) and click 'Set Auto Boot True'
The software looks shady but worked.

Yes. iOS and apps download to the phone as compressed files. Then they need to be uncompressed, which means they will take up more space. Then they need to be installed, which takes even more space. After the upgrade completes the compressed download and the working files are deleted. So the phone needs almost 3 times the space occupied by the final app or iOS version during installation. -

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I’ve updated the IOS7 from the iPhone, and after 3 hours, it asks to connect it to iTunes. after i connect it to iTunes it asks me that require update, then i agreed to update it runs for another 3 hours, and then a message shoed as "this iPhone needs to be restored, then i restore it. i lost all application and data. after two days i got a message that update is available of IOS7, which means my updates were useless. please advise on the way of updates, and do i will lose my data, and how i can recover?

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Featurs appin the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

How do I get the photo stream to work? Everything in iCloud works except photos on the apple tv, why?
Have you enabled photostream on your iOS device and on the Apple TV. Photos taken on your iOS device will only upload when you have a wifi connection.
