No way. You are long past any upgrade eleigibility cycles, so you would have to buy a full CS6 license or join Creative Cloud. That also negates any advise people could give you on making a platform swap, which requires you to be on a current version, anyway.

I just got an iphone 6. Not all of my music was on itunes, so I logged in and instead of clicking set up as new iphone I hit restore from backup, thinking it only pertained to the music in itunes. Nope. You can only have one credit card attached to an account at a time. Its not that big of a deal to use two accounts, users do this all the time. Create the second account(UK Account) in iTunes on your computer...sign out of your Italian account first. Then authorize your computer for this new account: Store>Authorize this computer. Then sync your phone. Now, to switch accounts on your phone: Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

Using iPhoto 09, 8.1.2 How do I re-route saving pictures to the hard drive? Currently am saving to files on 'my' partition, and would like to change to save to a shared file so both partitions can view and access.
Drag the Library from the Pictures folder to the Users/Shared folder. I would point out that folks doing this on 10.6 and later frequently meet permissions issues. You might do better moving it to an appropriately formatted External Disk.

I have an iPhone under my parents account. Now that I have my own, I would like to change the Apple id on the phone to my own (new) account. If I do so, will I lose all of my apps, music, contacts, etc?

I have downloaded MAMP for Mac and want to use it for working with Wordpress. I'm on an Imac with Maverick OS 10.9. I had mysql installed before this and would like to uninstall it and use MAMP. It was easy to turn off Apache and PHP but don't know how to uninstall mysql. Please help!!
It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.

I am shooting aerial video with a GoPro H3+ at 1080p 30fps and would like to edit videos and give them to my clients to use in as much media as possible for their advertising and marketing needs. I would like to give it to them at the highest quality allowed. What form should I save it in 'Publish and Share'? I have Premier Elements 12.

I bought my iMac Pro on ebay so did not get the chance to go through the Set up from the very beginning. I've noticed 2 consequences; one is that the name of the user is not my own. The second is that when I go to facebook her name and password are in the log in boxes.
How can I change it to my own name?
I am not sure what operating system I have or where it says this.By far the best thing to do is to do rannable's last suggestion and get rid of the previous user's account. Something they should have done instead of leaving personal information and passwords where you can easily get at them.
Open the System Preferences and click on the Accounts icon. Click the lock at the lower left. You will need to know admin password of the previous owner. Click the + button to create a new Administrator account. Fill in whatever name you want the account to have and choose a password. Click Create Account.
Log out and log back in to your new account. Go into the System Preferences again and the Accounts section. Click the lock button again, only this time, you would use the password for the new account you just created since that's what you logged into OS X with.
Highlight the old account and click the - button to delete it. Click the last radio button, "Delete the home folder" to completely remove the old account from the hard drive. Your new admin account will be the only one left.
Your new account will make the Mac look and behave like it just came out of the box since all of the desktop preferences will be the defaults. Customize to your liking. -

My first iTune and iCloud account was set up with a work email address. Last week, I changed my AppleID to a personal email account, but have found that on my iPhone under settings, iCloud, my account still has my work email. How can I change this to reflect my new personal email. I also pay to have extra storage, how is all of this working/tying together? Please help!
