sorry for my english!Hey, I have had my intunes soley shut down my computer numerous times, for the past month or so. I realize now it is only within my itunes, but it may not only be itunes. My desktop and a lot of cashed info have been cleared now, as a result of a ton of restarts by completely shutting the power most likely.
I have been too lazy to back up my music because it messes stuff up, and goes so slow it crashes. it will probably work better if I dont even touch itunes and just transfer small parts of my library at a time, not all 120+ gb!
I think a my computer is
a fried
b my files are terribly corrupted
c or my itunes is compromised
either way, i will back up my music, but what do you think the chances are my music is the culprate, and by backing it up I will have the same problem in the future?
i've been thinking re-installing itunes would be best

You phone can only be unlocked by your carrier. You need to contact them. Just FYI, we are not Apple here - we are just users like you.

Thank you again....Not having a clue what WEP is, I've done a little research. I have a BT Home Hub 3 which apparently by default uses WPA. BT have suggested I turn my hub off for 24 hours for them to monitor. However on returning home my February usage has gone back down again to it's average usage, so I think it's unlikely we'll learn a great deal. I am convinced the huge peak was caused somehow by my limited use of the ipad whilst we were abroad. I've been trying to get to the bottom of it, so that it doesn't happen again next time we go abroad.
For interest the ipad doesn't have we fi plus cellular.
The new BT Home Hub uses WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) encryption by default to protect the data that moves across the radio waves from it to other wireless devices. Many wireless devices sold today offer this more secure method of protection. WEP (Wireless Equivalent Privacy) is an older, less secure way of protecting such data. Call Customer service (*611) and ask if they will credit you the difference in price. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
I asked for a return at the gas station the other day as the price per gallon had fallen 5 cents since my last fill-up, but they refused.

You may need to reset your network settings, making sure the network you're accessing is stable: tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
If your iPhone still can't connect to App Store, tap Settings > iTunes & App Store > tap the Apple ID and sign out > later, sign in with your Apple ID. -
I bought a EarPods October last year in the USA, the day before yesterday the remoter can not work any more, it means by the EarPod still can listen music but can not adjust the volume and answer the phone, can I get a new one or what can I get based on the one year product warrant?

My apps store will not go online with verizon network, but on wifi it works. I am on an iphone 4, verizon. I tried to do a complete, backup and restore on the phone 1 day before i noticed this problem, The backup finished but the RESTORE would fail I had an error, could not access Apple server ( some server name I cant remember).
I have plenty of space available on the iphone,
8gb free,
ios version- 6.1.3 ( 10B329)
carrier - Verizon 14.0
Modem Firmware - 3.0.04

I tried doing my backup restore on the same computer as I once did a year ago. and THis time I cant do the restore on the iphone.
computer osx is 10.5.8
itunes version 10.
I do not wish to go to ios 7 at this time.Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the issue continues, contact the carrier to troubleshoot the network connectivity issues. -
I bought new i phone 5 3 days back, after that asked for new update which is 6.1.4, after updating my iphone i am not able to use cellular data services. I called up data provider, they says its the problem with new software update. There is no option add APN. Now when i switch to safari its showing you are not subscribed for cellular data. But I am able to use data on other phone.
Will you please help me in this regard?
Another issue, since i bought my new iphone there is dust inside back main camera.

I bought an ipad2 5 days before my mum. Mine started to set up from the minute I switched it on. However my mums what a nightmare. After many hours of trying to solve the problem and searching the Internet we took it back to the shop. This one had to have iclouds downloaded from iTunes. Was told that they are the same? When you looked at the boxes the discription on the back was different and mine had a tiny silver cloud sticker on it which ment it didn't have to down load th iOS soft ware from iTunes. I wish I had known at the time that there was 2types out there as I would have asked for my mums to be the same as mine. Not happy.
Sounds like one unit had iOS 5, the other had iOS 4. Unfortunately it happens that some units are shipped from the factory at different times with different Operatin Systems installed.

Have you went to Settings>General Time&Date and correct the time. Make sure the time zone is correct too. Also go to Settings>General>Inernational and make sure the Gergorian calender is selected.

If Apple's service database says that your iPhone was replaced, then Apple will no longer provide any service for that phone.
First, get a new SIM from your cell carrier and see if that corrects the problem. If it does not, try the usual steps for addressing software problems: restart, reset, restore.

If you try restoring from a backup and that doesn't fix the problem, try restoring to factory settings and, if the problem goes away, then sync back your apps and content. I have purchased IPhone 5S in Florida Mall when I was traveling to US from India.I bought this phone in unlocked condition. I started my phone when I came back in India. After few days (4-5 days) it started giving blue dump regularly. Then I have contacted Authorized service centre (Maple) in India (Maharashtra – New Mumbai) and then Maple checked with Apple and Apple said this phone is not under International Warranty. But when I purchased this phone form Apple Florida Mall ,I have been told by Zach McKenzie (Sales Person) that it has an international warranty and u can approach to any authorized centre in India for any issues. And that’s the reason I have bought this phone.
But now I am in big trouble so tell me how can u help me in this regards.Note this is a user forum hosted by Apple. You aren't talking to Apple here just other users.
Note that the iPhone warranty is NOT international and never has been. Your iPhone must be serviced in the country of purchase.
