I bought Itunes match, when can I delete the songs from my Ipad? It's memory is full and I bought Itunes match in order to free some memory space. I already activate the itunes match in the Ipad, but it still keeps the songs. Can I erase them?

Hi,
Go to settings > general > usage > storage and select music. You will see how much space is being used. Swipe to delete.
This will clear cache. Streaming uses up storage space. If you have specifically downloaded tracks you can delete them individually. Will still appear on your ipad but with the download icon.

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. Can't delete the songs from my iPod through iTunes?

When I try syncing my ipod 5th generation with iTunes (newest version), music that I deleted from iTunes isn't deleted from the iPod, but new music added to iTunes are added to the iPod. All other media is synced fine.

If your iPod is set to automatically update, then it will look exactly as your iTunes library does.
I would uncheck the songs you don't want to transfer to your iPod in iTunes (in the library). Then connect the iPod. When it appears in iTunes go to edit-->preferences. Click the iPod tab. Check "Only Update Checked Songs." Click OK.

I have a song on my Ipad the won't delete. If i swipe on the song to the left nothing happens. All my other songs can be delete through that action. It dosn't even show up in itunes. Itunes says I have 45 songs on my Ipad, the Ipad says I have 46 songs. It plays perfectly fine too. I don't know what to do. Show all music is turned of in the settings.

A couple of things could be happening. For example, the page you can't delete might be a purchased track; in that case, you won't be able to delete the track entirely, though you can delete it from a playlist. Also, the track may exist as a link, but not as a track.
I purchased a Coldplay track for free as a promo, but I can't get rid of it, no matter how I try.

Hello. I have one song on my iPad mini that I just can't delete. I tried swiping and nothing happens. I don't see it in my iTunes library anywhere on my Macbook Pro and I even tried unchecking 'sync music' in itunes which removed all music from the iPad except this one song. Is it possible that you purchased this song from iTunes then deleted it from your iTunes Library. on your Mac? Check in Settings > Music and see if Show all Music is on. If it is, it will show also music that isn't on your iPad but also music that you purchased and is available for download from iTunes.

you will need to cahnge your synching preference to manual. If you auto synch and the songs are not in the library they will be deleted from your iPod.

Apologies Brandon, we have moved on somewhat from your original question.
What I have done is effectively used Michael's idea. I'll try to explain a little further.
You can run iTunes match on up to 5 computers, and you can edit the iCloud library on any of them. Michael's idea works on the basis that, whilst you can edit the iTunes library, you can't remove songs from other computers.
I have basically the same setup as you, but I also have a MacBook Air, which is running iTunes Match but without any music downloaded so it all streams.
I added the songs on my main library, which then added them to the cloud. When they appeared on my MacBook I deleted them straight away. As there was no local copy I was asked if I wanted to delete them from the cloud, and I said yes. When I went back to my main computer I found that, as expected, they were still there, but the iCloud status is "removed". They are therefore on my library but not in iCloud.
Since then I have run match updates a couple of times and there is no sign as yet that it will try to add them back to the cloud. It's too early to say that this is a definate answer to your problem, but it looks very hopeful.
Our other discussions have moved onto the 25,000 son limit, which I note from your comment you may also be interested in. Watch this space.
If you don't have access to a second computer to run the other library on then look back at Michael's post where he explains how to set it up on your main computer.

Right click on the song on the computer your music is on and delete the song and make sure you check the box that says delete from iCloud.
If you want to delete the song from iCloud you also have to delete the song from the library that you are syncing from.

You have no choice but to lose your data back to the last backup you made.

You don't need to delete them form iTunes on your computer. Notice the dotted circles next to the songs. That indicates that the songs are essentially in limbo. They may not be on your iPad or they might appear in the Music app but will not play.
Sometimes unsyncing those songs will totally remove those ghost traces of the music nd sometimes, you have to restore the iPad to get rid of those traces of the songs.
If you Google "grey dotted circles next to songs in iTunes" you will find a plethora of articles that talk about this.

Yes, but be sure she is on a separate iCloud account with a separate ID before deleting anything. Be sure there is nothing that you want to keep on your device too. When you delete the data from iCloud it will be deleted from all devices signed into the account. Then you can delete the data from the existing account by doing the following:
To delete the contacts, go to iCloud.com from your computer, log into your iCloud account and open Contacts, click on All Contacts on the left, to the right click on any single contact to select it, click on the Actions (gear shaped) icon at the bottom left and choose Select All, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
For Calendars, open the calendar on icloud.com, click Edit on the bottom left, then tap the minus sign to the right of each calendar to delete it.
For Notes, open notes on icloud.com, click on each note on the left, then click Delete at the top to delete it.
For Reminders, open reminders on icloud.com, click on each reminder and press your Delete key to delete it.

That changed some time ago when iTunes 11 was released. At the present time you can only hide the song from your iTunes Match library. My understanding is that "hidden" songs like this don't count against your 25,000 song limit.
