BUT your file managemnt system sucks. You tried to get fancy and ruined a great product. Just open a file and save it that simple get rid of all the other *********. I can rarely open files I want because it can't find it or it no longer exists. Just crap. Fire all of your enginneers that worked this worthless nonsense and keep the one that edit photos. Thats all I need not a crappy file system that doesn't work. It will save you and me a ton of time. I want my moneu back and I'll go back to Corell. At ;east their file system works. The photos aren't as nice but it's fair trade off. I least I can find my pics!!

Yes, I'd try to get my money back if I were you. In many countries there's an absolute right to a refund within a "cooling off" period after a purchase, especially when a credit card is used. I don't know Adobe's policy in other countries.
Lightroom uses a number of paradigms that differ markedly from other software, in particular in the role of the catalogue and the nature of Lightroom's non-destructive editing. If you don't want to invest the time to understand this (or you have, and don't like it), then Lightroom is not for you.
Personally, I think you are criticising something you probably don't understand, but that's your choice!

Just thought that I'd report that I've decided on my solution.
It seems that just making do with what I can find on the US store is the easiest and perhaps also the best way of going about it. All other methods mean trouble. I'm lucky that China hasn't outright blocked the US store, as they HAVE blocked iTunes music store in China already (something about a song about Tibet caused them to block the store entirely).
So yeah, just going to deal with it I guess. I should be grateful I'm getting anything at all, considering the country I'm in. Still, I just feel so ripped off sometimes when I pay for expensive devices and I can't even get much out of them do to my region. iPhones cost around $700 in China because there's no company like AT&T that you can just sign a contract with to get one, so you have to pay up-front for the phone, and get less features out of it in the end. Makes buying smart phones look like a waste of time and money sometimes, since you can't use the device to do what it was built to do due to censorship and not having any content for your region (though they do have a lot of Chinese apps that I can't use due to not knowing Chinese).

Take it back to the store where you bought it for a hardware check and/or exchange/refund.
If they say "that's normal" then get your money back.
Nothing worst than a annoying fan you can't do anything about.
I has a eMac that did that, sounded like a vacuum cleaner running all the time, I'm so glad I trashed it and will never buy a machine I can hear running in a near silent library.
Some advice, the higher end models with a dedicated graphics do tend to operate cooler, it's the one's with only CPU graphics (Intel) regardless if a Mac or PC that tend to make a lot of noise.
Graphics should have never been put on the CPU, it just doubles the heat and doubles the fan noise.

It only gives me the option of signing in and when I do that I get an error message telling me that either my user name or password for my email is incorrect; even though I have been using my correct my apple ID in the password entry area. My apple ID works for every thing else. Please, can you help in this case?

I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.

Hi. It could be that the more you pile on the HD, the longer it will take to boot. When I first bought my MBP, it took maybe 30 seconds. But as I began putting more content on the HD, it seemed to take a bit longer to boot. You may also want to consider putting your MBP in sleep mode. That's what I do with mine and it doesn't hurt at all as far as I can tell.

I can't stand peremptory affirmations like "Nothing is wrong with Safari".

But must also admit that Safari is a very slow browser compared to Firefox or Chrome.

This never occured before and is the direct consequence of Safari compliance to Web Open Type. My Mac is always up-to-date and despite all my Mac loving care, I run into some problems.
Imagine the nightmare which can occurs for the vulgum pecus who isn't, by definition, a power user aware of all the requirements for running a System in optimal conditions.

Please try resetting your tools from Tool options.
Open Tool options in PSE status bar. Click on flyout menu and click on Reset All Tools.

The SIM wasn't replaced; if it were, you wouldn't have been able to locate it.
