I bought logic pro, can I install it on multiple computers?

If so, how many computers am I allowed?
If not, do I have to completely buy it again for hundreds of dollars?

You're allowed one desktop and one laptop. Other than that, you need to buy it again.

  • Academic CS4 production - Can I install it on multiple computers

In older versions of CS, I've installed it on a desktop and a notebook so that I can use it when and where i need to. Is that possible with this version. Taking a computer class that allows me to get the discounted version. Exactly what is the difference?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mr BK

  • Can I install iMovie on multiple computers with same Apple ID?

I have a work Mac owned by my company and a personal Mac; both were purchased brand new & are therefore entitled to a free copy of iMovie I believe. My workplace is telling me to sign in with my personal Apple ID in order to download iMovie. Will this cause problems for me in the future if I need to reformat my personal Mac & re-download iMovie?

No, it won't cause you problems.

  • HT200260 I already bought logic pro 9 but now i have a new apple id, do i have to pay logic pro 9 again or not??

I already bought logic pro 9 but now i have a new apple id, do i have to pay logic pro 9 again or not?? Or if i save it on a disk can i re-draw it into my macbook?

You can also contact Apple directly providing proof (The original receipt) you bought it originally on a different Apple ID and under certain circumstances they will transfer the App you bought over to your new Apple ID
You will probably also need to know what the older Apple ID was, along with other information used with that account (Like the credit card used for example)
Call them and see what they say once you have all your information together...
An alternative if you are running iOS8 on any of your devices or Yosemite or Mavericks.. on a Mac, is to simply add the old Apple ID your Family Sharing account.. using your new Apple ID as the master account... then every app you bought under the old Apple ID (if it is still active) will be available to download under your new one...

  • Do I need to uninstall previous version of Logic Pro before I install Logic Pro X?

    Basically what it says above!?

You don't need to delete the previous Logic Pro version before installing Logic Pro X. Logic Pro X is a new version and won't replace the old Logic Pro version, so if you like Logic Pro X and that's what you need after testing it, remove the old Logic Pro

  • I recently bought logic pro x from the app store and now i want to update to 10.0.4 and its saying it wasnt purchased here!!! sort it out apple very annoying!!

Although there will be many here that will sympathise with your situation, this is a user to user forum. Apple don't come here. The store (if you go to apple.com) now do real time chats. Failing that you'd need to call them to sort your issue out.
    Hope this helps

I'm just saying that there is/was another copy of Logic on that computer at one time, the app store version does not require a serial however... if a previous version was on the machine I think even the app store version will ask for a serial... is that what's happening?

  • Can i install photoshop on 2 computers

can i install photoshop on 2 computers?

    No problem. You can.
For example one for a home computer, another for a travel laptop, or at work.
What you cannot do is have someone else use it on your laptop, while you use it on you home computer.

  • I have purchased CS6, can I install it on multiple devices? Purchased as home user

I have purchased CS6, can I install it on multiple devices? Purchased as home user

You can install and use the software on one secondary computer. So you can use it both at work and at home. See the following excerpt from the EULA.
Can I use my software on two computers?
If you own, or are the primary user of, a single-user or volume license Adobe product that is installed on a computer at work, you can also install and use the software on one secondary computer of the same platform at home or on a portable computer. However, you may not run the software simultaneously on both the primary and secondary computers.
No more than one user can use a single-user license Adobe product.

If you are going to sell a system that did not come with Lion installed you use the media that came with it to revert it to as it was when new, (after overwriting the entire drive).
If you have a new system that came with Lion and you do the same as above, using the rescue partion. That partition is not tied to any user out of the box. That is unless the software asks you to sign in with an Apple ID before running Restore. In which case I would simply just overwrite your main partition and allow the next user to run the Restore from the Recovery Partition.
