However the trick is that it cannot download at all.I m asked to download the application. Then I put my Apple ID, then it start to download but just 1s... Then ....Nothing. No application, no error message... Just a nice invoice....

You can also get Lion, but personally, I think Mountain lion is what Lion was supposed to be.
In any case, there is absolutely no reason for you to get either one; Snow Leopard is a nice and reliable OS - of course, if you want any of the added features of the newest OS, then you will have to buy and install it.
So, the decision is up to you. Also note: any older PPC apps that still worked on Snow Leopard will no longer work on the new OS - you'd have to purchase upgrades if one is available.

It's not a virus. It's a JavaScript scam that only affects your web browser, and only temporarily.
Some of those scam pages can be dismissed very easily. Press command-W to close the tab or window. A huge box will pop up. Press the return key and both the box and the page will close. If that doesn't happen, continue.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and uncheck the box marked Enable JavaScript. Leave the preferences dialog open.
Close the malicious window or tab.
Re-enable JavaScript and close the preferences dialog.
If the Preferences menu item is grayed out, quit Safari. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. From the menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
to get rid of any cookies or other data left by the server. Open your Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize.

I have a mac book air 11". When I boot up connected to the huge Thunderbolt screen it detects the detects the fact and gives me great quality. now I am travelling away from the scree it boots up, nice picture, then switches to rubbish resolution.

I have a Mac Book air 11". Normally at home I connect this to a large Thuderbolt Screen. When booting up it some times gets confused and offers me a low resolution result, but some plugging and unplugging of the screen fixes this. I assume it sometimes "sees" the big screen and sets the resolition accordingly. Sometimes does not. But now... I am away from big screen and cannot get the Macbook air on its one to deliver anything other than really poor resolution. I ahve done displays and chosen all three - but no better. And I have said Choose the Best ONe... again not luck. Any ideas. I read in back posts this was a problem a few years ago.

I believe you have a failing GPU (aka Video Card). Run AHT and see what it tells you. Do not be afraid to run it up to three times in succession if at first it does not detect an error (sometimes errors that are caused by overheating will not show up until the computer is stressed enough - repeating AHT will do that).
As an aside - the MBA was not designed to take the place of a desktop. If you are powering your MBA by leaving it permanently attached to the thunderbolt port on the monitor you are shortening your battery life.

Can you install them on what? Those are both iOS apps (meaning they can be installed on iPods, iPhones and iPads), but iOS apps cannot be run on either a Mac or a PC. I believe that there is a Mac version of Angry Birds as well, which is completely separate from the iOS version of Angry Birds.

Shouldn't be a problem if your Mac can run Mavericks > OS X Mavericks: System Requirements
As for Safari. When you say not responding, do you mean it won't open a window, or it won't load websites, or it won't launch at all?

As you probably know the Canon plug-in enables Log & Transfer in FCP7. I'm not sure whether it works with Final Cut Express or not.
Look in Applications>Canon Utilities. I'm running 10.6 as well and that is where it's located on my machine.

You dont need ANY CD/DVD burning software on your Mac

Excel does not use the .xcl extension for any of its native file formats? The only files I've ever seen with xcl as the file extension were associated with embedded application code projects.
If this is in fact an Excel file, but an encrypted one, you cannot open it (in excel or any compatible application) without the decryption password.

I have a Mac Book Air and firefox froze and my trackpad does not respond what should I do?

On the top left corner when any new window is opened (the red, yellow, and green) the maximize, minimize and close buttons, the red button isn't active however a rectangle separate window opened up with just two options: Cancel and OK- the OK button is flashing blue for my pointer to click on, when I do it doesn't respond and I can't open a new window to firefox because it won't let me, I tried restarting my computer but it won't let me because that application is still running it says to close it first and than I can restart however it still does not respond, so whats going on?

I want to ask why my invoice lost header title..in my mac i can see my invoice title..but when i open file lost my office name and address on number

my invoice got my company name and address..when i see in my macbook can see the title..but when i open file to edit lost my title.many customer ask me why..

Possible problem: You designed the invoice using Numbers '09 but you are now editing it in Numbers 3. The company name and address are in a page header or footer, something Numbers 3 does not have so it deletes it from the document.
Possible solution: Return to using Numbers '09. It should still be in the Applications forlder on your computer.
Another Possible Solution: Use a text box for your company name and address.
If you are trying to use Numbers 3, you might want to see if your invoice will print correctly (with or without the company name and address)
