I bought my ipad in the UK, im from the UK but my ipad keep changing its language to dutch.

i got my ipad from the UK from a t mobile shop, i live in the UK, but for some stupid reason my ipad with retina display 16GB wifi keeps changing it lanuage to dutch, never been to the netherlands, i have changed all the sttings god knows how many times but as soon as i open up yahoo (my home page) google something it comes up in search results as netherlands dutch yahoo, its really getting on my nerves now, any idea how to keep it in english

Change to US App Store
1. Tap "Settings"
2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3. Tap on your Apple ID
4.Tap "View Apple ID"
5. Enter your user name and password.
6. Tap "Country/Region."
7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
8. Select the country/region where you are located.
9. Tap "Done".
Note: If the change doesn't take effect, sign out of account and sign in again.

The coment "few outdated programs" Ive seen alot its not just a few its a lot and since games are not Apple's strong point I would think they would want to keep as many as they could...
An example of the rants you will see from a lot here. Don't be put off as these problems are generally user specific, and these same old comments come out after the release of every OSX I can remember. When Lion is upgraded to the next OSX you can gaurentee these forums will be full of people screaming about how great Lion was. Happened with Tiger, Leopard and Snow Leopard.
So come to think of it you may be better off Googling sites that give you unbiased views on Lion, rather than expect any positive comments here. For every one complaint there are probably 100,000 people with no issues.

Probably something to do with Apple/iTunes cross border copyright !
Only thing I think you can do is to try and appeal to Apple's better nature and explain what has happened, I would not hold your breath though.

IPad keeps losing its internet connection since updating to OS 8.1?

Since updating to the latest OS my iPad keeps dropping its internet connection. It has to be shut down and restarted then its back on line, but a while later will drop out again. What is wrong, and what can I do to correct it?

Try freeing up some memory by clearing open apps running in the background. Most people don't know this, but if you have a ton of apps running it can cause a few to crash. Double tap the home button to bring up the bottom. Every app down below is running in the background. Hold your finger down on one till they wiggle. Hit the minus button on all of them. It's good to clear this out of stuff your done using.

I have a folder from today that won't let me change its name. I can change the other folders just fine. I do it routinely... any ideas what I screwed up?

I'm as a loss. I don't understand why today's folder "2014-06-06" won't let me add "_Kim" to the end. I do it will all my folders since I download from a couple of cameras.

For a temporary fix, change your region? Get a 3rd party Calendar app that fits your needs?
I assume your current region is set in the photo?
If so, pick a region that has a start day of Sunday. (either historically or known for the present)
Note, with changing your region, it will change the default phone number prefix/country code for new contacts and addresses. (calling and SMS is not affected)

It tells me call volumes are higher then normal and I can stay on the line, but it just keeps repeating the menu options and eventually hangs up on me. That is really irritating!! I'd at least like the option to wait on hold. I guess I should have listened to the warnings about prepaid support before switching to prepaid last week.
The reason I'm calling support is I'd like to know when I will be getting the extra 500MB of data when signing up for auto pay. This is one of the reasons I switched to a 4G Allset plan. I signed up for auto pay promptly after setting up my online account when I switched from post paid to pre paid on Thursday July 17, 2014.

No, it is not locked by Apple. It is locked but the person that sold you the iPad and only thyer can unlock the device. If you cannot get in touch with them, you will have a totally useless device on your hands. This is what they have to do.

I tried that already.. the thing is, i press "buy more tones" in the "incoming call tones" panel, and the ringtone i purchased appears as "downloaded", but it only appears on the iphones itunes, not in the tones panels.

Why does the color on my calendar keeps changing colors on its own

I have several color coded calendars for each family members. My daugther's calendar all of a sudden changed from green to blue (which is my son's) by itself. I changed it back to green and it automatically changed back to blue again. This happened once before a while back and after I keep changing back the color, it corrected itself eventually.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it permanently?
