I bought my iPhone 4 open line in Vancouver, Canada last week for use here in my home base in Bangkok, Thailand. But when I tried using my Thai sim, I get a very weak signal, if not a weak signal, then a no service status. I also have very weak wifi reception. What do I do?
I already tried the following:
a. Turned the phone off and then on.
b. Checked all wifi connections – no problem given that all our laptops and desktops can connect seamlessly.
c. I tried restoring the phone to original factory settings via itunes
d. Tried resetting the phone.
e. Tried different microsims from all networks
f. However, all methods failed given that the network reception is very weak and often reflects – “no service”. And with regards to the wifi reception It has difficulty in reading even the signal right in front of the wifi router.
I went to two Apple resellers here in Bangkok and requested that they please look at my Iphone and have it serviced. I was frustrated when they said that given that I bought my phone in Canada, they are not able to support me and should instead try to contact the Apple store in Canada.
I went to apple.ca website and went to the expresslane support and I was said to register and callback. Tried calling the 1800 number but given that I was in Thailand I had difficulty getting a connection.

What blue bubble are you trying to turn on? If you mean that the Send button will not work, go to Settings>Messages>Show Subject Field>Off. Make sure that is set to off.
If you send an iMessage, the texts between the devices appear in a blue bubble.
iMessages only work between iOS devices and they are different than the standard text messages that any cell phone can send to another cell phone. -
I need Adobe Flash player to view videos on my website but whe n I try to download it I get a message that my device is not compatible. Can that be correct?

When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

I just purchased iPhone 5S and I am unable to record my custom greeting. It seems like it is recording but when I tried to play it back it just plays "hello" and that is it.
Hacking an iPhone is against's Apple license agreement for the iPhone and is not supported by Apple directly or indirectly via these discussions not to mention removes the built-in security included with iOS and has likely bricked your iPhone now.
Contact whoever you downloaded that hacking garbage from for help with this. -

Wipe it clean and restore it. You should then be able to rename the iPod and set up an account with iTunes. I hope this helps!

I bought unlocked iPhone 6(A1586, MG6J2LL/A). It is for sprint. I am currently AT&T user. My new iPhone6 does not recognize my AT&T SIM card. Does it mean the iPhone6 is still locked. Can I use this iPhone6 in China?
Well, of course this new iPhone will not recognise an AT&T sim card in it - you purchased a Sprint phone which is a CDMA carrier and AT&T is a GSM carrier, so no, you CANNOT use a Sprint phone in the US with AT&T. The 2 are not compatible and if you had wanted to use AT&T as your carrier, then you should have purchased an unlocked GSM phone and NOT a CDMA phone, which Sprint is.
Yes, the phone is unlocked, but it is the GSM portion and sim card tray that is unlocked for international use, so yes, you should be able to use the phone in China with a local Chinese sim card.
You can use the phone in China, but you will NOT be able to use s Spring CDMA phone in the USA with AT&T because they are a GSM carrier, so that is why an AT&T sim card is not recognised in a Sprint phone because the 2 are not compatible.
Perhaps you should have checked more closely when you were buying the phone that you were in fact purchasing the correct model? Verizon and Sprint are both CDMA carriers, with AT&T and T-Mobile being GSM carrier. Check before you buy next time so that you make sure that you buy the right phone. -
