Boot Camp does not come on DVD, what did you install.

I bought a Macbook Pro 15 last month (the lower end model) on interest free credit. I mainly got it for music and film editing. I was aware that Apple were about to announce a new series of Macbooks but kind of needed it then! Anyway, is it worth me selling this Macbook and buying the newer model that was just announced? I know I'd lose a couple of hundred £ through selling this one but would it be worth the upgrade?
Also, is there another upgrade to the new models coming? I.e. will there be a smaller scale update in 6 months?

The Mid-2007 model didn't come out until June 2007, so you must have bought an earlier model. It won't run Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.x), but it might run Lion (10.7.x) if you can get hold of a copy, depending on which earlier model it is.
Lion requires at least a Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The first MacBook Pros came out in January 2006, but they had "Core Duo" processors (no "2"). The Core 2 Duo MacBook Pros came out in October 2006. You could have bought either in March 2007.

HT1630 I have just bought my MacBook Pro 15" Retina new this week. When storing the charger I wrapped it as described on the support page, but now I've noticed that in some places in the power cord (charger to MacBook) there are small lumps.

It looks like the strains are unwrapping in its isolating sleeve. By twisting the cord you can get the lump out, but when you then want to store it and wrap it around the charger the lumps come back because the cable is twisted in an other direction.

IMHO the worst way to store, transport, any Mac notebook charger is to wrap the cord around the transformer block as described on the Apple website and documentation. This only leads to the cord braking and as you have noticed some lumps.
I wrap the cord around my hand loosely in big loops never putting any strain on either end of it. I also let the cord hang loose before I start wrapping it around my hand. This allows the cord to twist naturally as I wrap. When un-wrapping I also hold it up to let all the twists work there way out. This has worked for me with all the AC adapters for Mac computers I've owned.

My Ipod Touch conects to my wi-fi, but when I open safari, or any other app that needs internet, it doesnt work. what should I do and why is this happening?

Try a restore via iTunes. You need to put your device in dfu mode to let iTunes restore. If you don't know to put it in dfu mode, google it.

Yes thats what i thought but i only have 77 days left on my garentee so its a worry, and have to drive 1 hour to get to closest Apple shop, spent the whole day there today when i should have been at work and have to make the drive again on Monday Then back again next Friday to pick it up. The system regularly lets the battery drop to about 95% when on the charger, then recharges to 100%. This lets the batery exercise "just a little" all of the time and saves the recharge curcuits from overuse.
Regualr occurence for me.
Also ... you need to let your battery work at least once per month. Let it run down to 40%, but not less if you can at all avoid it. Running thr battery fully dead will shorten the battery life significantly.

Try the other USB port. If it still doesn't show up in Disk Utility then there may be something wrong with your Mac. Try something else in each USB port and see if it is seen. If the other thing, like a USB thumb drive, does show up in disk utiltiy then the USB ports are fine.
Power down the system and restart with the drive connected, go to DU and see it it is seen.
