I Bought Numbers and Pages but the Trial Versions Open Instead!

Hello everyone, first time here.
       Sorry if this has been covered before, I couldn't find anything relating to my issue.
     I used the trial version of Numbers and Pages after first purchasing my Macbook last year but later purchased both from the App Store. If I access a document through Finder it unknowingly opens up the trial version and after editing it the documents won't allow me to save them unless I purchase the programs, which of course I already have. Whenever I open the application first it seems to work fine.
     How do I delete the demo version or at least get the purchased version to open automatically? Thank you!

It used to be that to update the trial to the licensed version with the box, you just inserted the DVD & ran the installer to convert the trial to licensed. This has changed with Snow Leopard. You now need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.
Then reinstall from the DVD or the Mac App Store.

Has anyone else had the misfortune of trying the trial version of iWorks and then decide to buy numbers or pages alone and then been unable to save a file or save a changed file.I tried to get apple to help but they wanted a serial number which you don't get from the app store. It's not just buying from the Mac App Store, the same thing happens to those who buy & install from the retail box. Use Photoshop menu Help>system Info... use its copy button and paste that info in an append here.

CC and CC2014 are the current versions of Photoshop. CC stands for Creative Cloud.

Cs6 won't start, trial version opens instead of real version

after re-installing my system from time machine cs6 won't start, instead the trial version opens. Serial number is not accepted. What to do?

I followed your instructions and un-installed CS6. By installing from cd i'll got the message that my serialnumber is invalid. It is the same serial number as shown in my adobe and on the receipt. What to do?

1. I would advise you to please go to
2. Applicatoins>utilities>Adobe Installers
3. Try to find if there is any uninstaller for the CS6.
4. If you find the uninstaller then simply uninstall the application and then reinstall it.

I have the original IPAD, otherwise known as planned obsolescence. I have been getting update notices for Numbers and Pages but no matter what I do cannot get the update.   Finally today it says my IPad is not compatible?

I have an original IPAD, which I am beginning to call "Planned Obselescence" I am constantly notified when opening Numbers and Pages that I have an update. However, when I try to update it wil not allow it. It tells me to go to ITunes, which I have done, and still it will not download it, saying that my IPAD is not compatible.   All of this if fine if Apple wishes to do things this way, but I just want to stop being notified every time to update it, if I am not going to be allowed to do so.

The updates for Numbers and Pages are perfectly compatible with the iPad 1. I'm not sure what you are doing; perhaps a better explanation of what you are seeing is needed.

I have subscribed to Adobe Acrobat XI but the trial version keeps popping up and I can't seem to access the program I am paying for!

I trialed the Adobe XI and signed up for the subscription. I thought I had downloaded it but I cannot seem to access it. The trial version keeps blocking me.

How do I activate the Edit menu and Layers in the trial version of PSE12?

After looking at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements/faq.html#trial-information 1., which says it's a fully functional version, I downloaded the trial version of PSE12,.
But when I open a photo, and Select > All, the Edit menu shows the following:
Thinking that maybe Layers has to to active, but the Window menu shows the following:
Like in the Edit menu, everything is greyed out.
How do I make things active so I can actually evaluate this trial version?

I have been trying to download a new update and it goes thru the strokes and restarts but the update version does not show when I go to "about this computer" to see what version is on. Any ideas what is wrong?

I bought pages and tells me the trial version has expired

Dear all,
I'm new in the Mac community and I'm trying to work with the apple world that is fantastic.
Two months ago I installed iWorks package in trial version, and when expires I bought the app trought the iPages app that asked me for the serial number. There was no problem for Keynote and for numbers but for iPages the app still today is asking me for the serial number. I have the e-mail with the purchase of the app.
Anybody can help me, because I need to work with that.

I download latest version but the older version opens.

I run mac 10.6.8 and I have downloaded the latest version of firefox, but it will not open. I have tried a few times-- I have also downloaded the flash player. When I open firefox, the version that comes up is 3.6.22. Thanks for your help.

When opening a file saved on an older firefox i get repeated openings across the top of the page, but the file never opens.can i fix this?

when you open certain firefox saved pages, i believe the firefox i upgraded from, will not really open in firefox it just keeps opening tabs across the top of the page until you closed firefox.

Firefox's built-in PDF viewer is not yet as full-featured as Adobe's plugin. You might need to use Adobe for that one. Here's how to make the switch: [[How to disable the built-in PDF viewer and use another viewer]].

Numbers and pages are not working.. need help

hello i been chatting with Genius Bar team today earlier on, we heve got to the stage when we created Test User profile and figured that Numbers andPages are running in it, it suppose to mean that the is a way to fix those applications settings in order to make them work in the original Profile... can someone tell me what has to be changed in the settings.... You are accidentally launching the wrong version of Numbers (and Pages).
The previous version (which you are launching, probaby from your dock) were moved to the folder "/Applications/iWork '09"
the new Versions are located in the folder "/Applications" You should be sure you are launching the correct version. If you ane not sure compare the icons:

Can I download the trial version of photoshop and use it as the full version with my serial number?

I have photoshop 6.0 on my current computer, I got in in college 4 years ago and the disc subsequently came to a tragic end after a collision with my dogs teeth T_T I still have the serial number though. My problem is I've just bought a new computer and I was told that to transfer photoshop to my new computer I had to deactivate it on my old computer and then download the trial version using the original serial number. Will this work?

Is this Photoshop Elements 6 or Photoshop 6? Either way this would not be the current version so it will be difficult to obtain the installation files as we only offer replacement media for the current version.
