I bought QT Pro - Where the %&*# is the reg code?

Last night I purchased QT Pro online. 5-10 mins or so later i received an email confirming my order. The email references my reg code but I don't see it anywhere. I called Apple support and talked to about 6 different people. They helped me go through my order, account, downloaded software, etc. but no reg code anywhere. Any ideas?

Well i got a mail with my reg code, but was unable to install it till i recognized, that my account name is including Mister XXX XXX.
I payed with PayPal, there i got a information email included an added code. Normaly you bought, you will get an information about product: QuichTime Pro including your Serial. Maybe you can log in in your purchase account and can find there your key.

13" MacBook Pro - Where to store the remote?

Well, On my old black MacBook, there were magnets around the top frame around the screen and when I was at my desk, I would store my Apple Remote on the top corner of my screen. It was great because it would just "stick" there.
On the new 13" MacBook Pro, the remote just falls off whenever I try and put it in those same spots. Its seems like it trys to stick there, but ends up turning around (in the way of the screen) or falling off.
So I was just wondering has anyone else noticed this? Does my unit have unusually weak magnets....or are they all like this? If so, what do you do with your remote? (obviously, I can just put it on the table, but I liked having it above the screen - it was clever and made people go woah!)

There was never a magnet specifically to hold the remote. It just happens that the magnet in the previous models was strong enough to grab the battery within the remote. It was never designed to do this... it was just one of those things that just happened to work.

The reason why you are getting this prompt is because you are trying to install an upgrade version.
During the upgrade, you will need to enter serial number twice.
The first time, you need to enter the serial number of the actual product that you have purchased.
The second time, you need to enter serial number for the previous version that you had.
So, please enter serial number of the previous version at the second prompt.

CS5 for Windows can only be installed on Windows operating system.
You would need to purchase CS5 for Mac OS.
Given that CS5 is now 4 versions back, it's unlikely you'll find a copy.
You could get DW CC from the Creative Cloud which supports both Win/Mac platforms.

Already bought quicktime pro but still running without the pro options

Hello.
I have already bought quicktime pro but after I had to reinstall it is running again without the pro options. I logged into apple.com and there is nowhere where I can find my actualisation or key code which I have paid for to make it run as pro.
Does anyone know where to find it or how to fix this problem so it runs as pro again without having to pay for it again?

If you've lost the email Apple sent you containing the Pro key, log into your account in the Apple Store and click on the Downloadable Software Purchases link. You should find the key shown there.

Sign into the App Store with your Apple ID. App Store should be in the Dock.

As per Apple Norway, as the case has been registered before the expiry of the warranty, Apple India to accept the warranty as well and get the set repaired under warranty. Thank you.

hello thanks for helping i found where the problem was coming from but no how to resolve it. it sems like the AC3 format of avi video is in conflict with quicktime pro or something like that..
i tried to take some codec for avi video but none of them resolved the problem if somebody has any answers thank you very much.

There's no way to know the reason why they are there, but it looks like a human mistake.
You have 14 days to return your Mac if you bought it from Apple, so do it and get a new one. This is what you should do if you have any problem

If you're using the Adjust editing pane there is no Done button. When you done with the editing just click on the Photos button at the top or use one of the arrows at the top to advance to the next photo. No done button required.

all I want it my hard drive available at owc and make it a usb drive and acc3sss my stutt ? thansk any ideas and also on how I could sell or use the parts I can salvage, and yay my new pro ix 17 inches silver sleek full ms office i life and i work. included 389 awesome price , no need for new this does awesome . rather than buying an optical drive for 200.00 I got a new computer to me and better for a lot less.

Well as I suspected I love OWC company I pulled out the mac hard drive , they offered me a Macdrive free trial program to check your drive on PC Windows and yesSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS it all there nothing lost

If you bought the MBP new 3 weeks ago, it should have come with Mountain Lion already installed. Did you update your MBP to the newly released 10.8.4 update? If not, what OS were you running before the upgrade, and what version of Mountain Lion do you have now?
