I purchased audio books from Itunes and they aren't showing up on the purchased list so I can't down load them to my new computer. I have authorized my computer. So any suggestions?
You cannot redownload audiobooks at all.
They will only be where you put them. -
my friend took my phone and tried to guess my password to unlock it, and he locked me out of my phone for a minute, but when it unlocked and i tried to use my phone all of my apps, photos, all my data had been deleted. how can i get them back?
As Ocean20 say, your only shot at recovering the photos and data is to restore from a backup (with iTunes if you took the backup with iTunes, through iCloud if you took the backup through iCloud).
The erasure is to prevent your data from falling into the hands of somebody who takes your phone and eventually guesses your password. If you feel that the inconvenience caused by this feature and your friend outweighs the trouble that somebody could cause if they got possession of your contacts and other data, you can change this behaviour.

I have some songs that have an exclamantion point next to them and I can't get them to sync. I had to move them manually into a playlist and succeeded in doing that but now the playlist won't sync. What's the problem?
I have the same problem and I am very upset. I have heard that Apple/iTunes is removing all songs that are unlicened for this type of download. Apple does not want to be responsible for pirated music. Much of mine is down loaded from CD's. I have to go to search and put in every song and then, if found, put it into My Music then back into iTunes. WHAT A HASSLE. I don't remeber reading anything about this. 224 songs so far. NOT HAPPY.

I downloaded an app on my MacBookPro(10.9.1) and I can't get it to synch onto my iPhone...any ideas(I click on install...it switches to "will install" but never gets to my iPhone)...thanks in advance
Your phone connected, iTunes running, under the "Apps" tab, you've selected this app to install on your phone, correct? Hit the "Apply/Sync" button, lower right on the Apps tab, what happens?

I have 2 itunes accounts that I want to put on one iCloud, but can't get them to sync. What can I do that the instructions aren't telling me?
You don't mention anything about the music files on your computer that were used to copy into iTunes. If you have moved those files to a different location on you PC you will get that error message from iTunes. This is because iTunes will look for the music files in the original location that they came from on your PC when they were copied. If this is the case you have to tell iTunes to look in the new location for the music files or move the music files back to the original location.

My (iTunes) playlist cannot be re-synched to my iPhone after I updated it. I synched it to a newly named playlist with most of the original songs (3.6G) but it will only load a fraction of them now. How can I get them all back on my iPhone?

Also, do the 4th gens have cameras? I see it in the manual, but there's no app or whatever to access it, and I accidentally 'synched' photos from my computer, and can't get them off! Help!
We are going through same thing and looks like alot of other people also. Seems to me Apple would have invalid email instead of us loosing the gift card all together. Very irratating. Good Luck.

Itunes lost my library and now I can't get it back
I went to open itunes today and it said something like updating itunes when it went to open and I just hit stop. Now only 500 out of about 5500 songs are in my library. I still have all the stuff on my ipod. Any suggestions?
First, search your computer for the missing songs.
You can use Explorer to search your computer.
On the Start menu, click "Search".
Select "All Files and folders".
In the "All or part of the file name" field, type the song name and then click "Search".
If you see the file you are looking for in the Search Results window, you can add it back into your iTunes library.
See: How to add songs from your hard drive to iTunes.
If they are indeed missing, you can use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Another free program is Pod Player.
SharePod is also freeware. -
The problem that have started when I was going to sync my iPhone 4 with current iTunes running on 64bit Windows 7.
I started iTunes and plugged in my iPhone.
All looked good and the iPhone came up as the device as it should have.
Next I wanted to transfer purchases prior to syncing so I started the Transfer Purchases process.
iTunes stopped working during the Transfer Purchases process
Now when I plug in my iPhone iTunes takes me to the “setup your iPhone” screen and displays “This computer has previously been synced with an iPhone or another iOS device” and only allows me to restore and old backup or setup as new.
Obviously some files were not closed properly when iTunes crashed during the transfer purchases process, how can I cleanup iTunes so that it will allow me to backup and sync my phone.
I am a software developer and am sure that a fix is not in the menu options What I am saying is that I can easily remove or edit corrupt files to get it working.
Thanks, MikeThe error message you're seeing is likely the other way around -- i.e. something like "This iPhone has previously been synced with a different computer". There's no problem syncing multiple iOS devices to the same computer.
However, the reverse is not true for the iPhone -- you cannot connect an iPhone to another computer without it being erased, even if you manually manage music and video. So, it sounds like you've been syncing your iPhone to a different computer?
Also, 5.1 (not 5.0.1) is the latest iOS. -
ITunes Match music videos are ineligible, how can I get them back onto my iPod?
Hi,
I subscribed to iTunes Match earlier today, turned it on and did the same on my ipod touch but have now discovered all my music videos are ineligible and can't be tansfered via iCloud. It wont allow me to sync my iPod via USB cable. Is there anyway I can get my videos back onto my iPod? ThanksI'm looking into this as well. Most of my videos were purchased from apple and showed up originally. But, I had a lot of problems with the tags in my regular music and had to more or less purge my iCloud library. Afterwards, I had the same problem as you. iTunes would no longer match the iTunes purchased music videos.
Anyhow, there is a quick way to get them transfered to your iPod.
Right click on the videos and use "Get Info" to change them to a "TV Show."
You can also set the "Show" to something like "Music Videos."
I also set all then music videos grouping to "Music Video."
Created a smart playlist that just listed all things grouped as such.
Make sure Sync TV Shows is checked.
I may have left a step or two out. But, you should be able to handle the rest from there.
This is what I'm doing at least until I find a better solution.
