I bought songs on accident, and deleted them, but when I shuffle the songs still play.
The title says it all, but it really bugs me, because I dislike some of the songs
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that album and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

If you want to be able to view, edit and export from Lightroom you can move the files using your computer OS (explorer or finder) and update the folder location by right-clicking on the folder name in the LR Library. See fig 8 at the attached link:

This will work when the thumb drive is connected.
If you really have no need to keep these files off-line in LR then simply move the files, select all the thumbnails in the LR Library and hit delete. Then choose remove. -
I can create bookmarks folders and populate them. but when i quit safari the folders disappear?

Try deleting the cache and reset ...
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Empty Cache
If that doesn't help, back to the menu bar, click Safari > Reset Safari. Select the top 5 boxes, click Reset.
If that didn't help, try troubleshooting the Safari .plist (preferences)
Quit Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Preferences
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari.
If it's working ok now, move that .plist file to the Trash. If not, move it back to the Preferences folder.
If you have trouble finding those files, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen, click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here: ~/Library/Preferences
Click Go -
When my Nano is connected to my computer, it shows that I have music downloaded to it, but when i touch the screen to play the music, it is not showing up and is not available to play. I've tried reloading it with no success
iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

I recently bought a new computer and downloaded itunes onto it. When i sync my ipod it prompts me to authorize my computer
with the purchases that i've made, but when i try to do so, my apple i.d. is not what shows up and so my ipod won't sync any of my songs or apps. I have no idea who's username i'm seeing and i've never seen it before. That's the only thing that is stopping my ipod to sync, a password that isn't mine!! Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

In mail, highlight the mailbox you deleted the messages from, then on the menu bar click mailbox then rebuild. That will usually get rid of deleted messages that won't delete.

So I had an iPod touch and everything with it is fine. I just bought a second one for my daughter...exactly the same as my iPod. This second one was bought used, but was reset completely before I plugged it into my computer. My problem is... my iTunes does not recognize the second touch as a device! I can't get it to sync, so I can't get any music or anything onto the device. How can I have two iPod touches on my computer? Is there something special that I have to do to get my computer to recognize this second touch as a different device?? PLEASE HELP!!!

I just factory restored my iPod 5 touch and when I plug it into iTunes to back it up, iTunes stops responding and closes. This only occurs when the iPod is plugged in, when it isn't, iTunes works fine. I am using Windows 8 and iTunes is updated (as of this posting). Any suggestions on getting around this? Thank you.
Also, when I put it through the Windows diagnostic, it lists an "incompatible program" WHILE my iPod is plugged in.
