I broke my ipod and got a new one now how do i transfer everything i had before on my ipod onto my new one?
this guy at school chucked my ipod on the ground and the lcd broke so he gave me his so i have been trying for the last hour to transfer my stuff onto the new one concitering i have all my personal stuff on the other one that i would like to have on this one including a 15 chapter story in notes that i have been working on for a while. i hope you can help!

You'll have to do another restore from the old phone backup. But before doing that, tell us what was not restored. For example is it just photos that didn't get restored? If so, that seems to be a common problem for many users, judging by the posts left in the forum. There doesn't seem to be a solution to that problem (other then to tell users to ALWAYS sync photos to a computer and never trust an iCloud backup/restore to save photos.

I went to Mac Store and had replaced hard drive because I encountered 4HDD ERROR(hard drive failure). I had backed up my old hard drive by TIME MACHINE regularly. Now how can I restore everything I had?

I had tried COMMAND+ALT+R which led me to directly to INTERNET RECOVERY via wifi. After 1 hour or so it dropped me at the same point.
I've tried MIGRANT ASSISTANCE as well, it kept on LOOKING FOR OTHER COMPUTERS even though I clicked on TIME MACHINE BACK UP USING EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE
so what to do now?
P.S. Guys at MacStore were so careless to even listen to me when I asked them about retrieving back up :(

We had 2 computers: his itunes library on one, and mine on the other. We got rid of both of those and got a new computer. I put new music on the new computer. My ipod songs are not on itunes on the new computer. Will I erase them if I sync? How do I add new music?

Yes, but you wouldn't have sold the backup copy of your old computer.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc. -

I delete my iCloud account and got a new one but the previous iCloud account is keep showing up.what do I do??
You have to sign out of the old one and then sign back in with the new one. On an iOS device it's Settings>iCloud and click 'Delete account' (this will not delete the account from the server, just disengage the device from it). On a Mac it's System Preferences>iCloud and click 'Sign out'.

So I updated to OS X Maverick(s) and backuped my harddrive and got a new one installed, everything seems okay but some things are missing in my settings like the software update icon. Does anyone know how I can get it back?
Okay so I asked someone from apple and they said that the software update icon is gone but its functions have been merged with the app store icon on the settings menu. Crisis averted haha!
