I broke my screen on my iphone and now the phone wont turn on, if I have insurance will it cover the cost of a new iphone?
I broke my phone about two months ago and now it won't turn on because I believe there is internal damage. If I bought the insurance when buying the phone will I be able to get a new phone for free?
You would have to find that out from where you purchased the insurance. Most insurance policies that are sold for cellular phones have a deductible. Only that insurance carrier can answer those questions for you. Look up the papers that you got when you purchased the insurance.

Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the charging cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage). If it doesn't reboot on the first attempt, leave it several more hours. I've had one charge for two days before it came back to life after an extreme battery depletion. Every 3-4 hours, with the device still connected to the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it reboots.

Restart computer, open current iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes reconizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, click Restore button of iTunes.

updated my iphone 3gs to the 5 ios and now my phone wont read my sim card when i reactivate it.
Every time i connect it to itunes all it says is "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate." Even thought there is a sim card connected in my phone.Is the SIM from a supported carrier?
Is the device carrier locked, officially unlocked, or hacked to be unlocked?
Has the SIM been reseated? If not, try that.
Also, basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore. Has any of that been tried? -
I have an iphone 4s that i got last week and i set it up just using the phone. today my dad restored it as my mothers iphone so i lost all of my data. I tried to restore it as my original phone i had but i exited out of itunes and now my phone wont showup in itunes or on my computer

I just updated my phone last night while I was sleeping and because of the update my reliable fast charging cable stopped working. Guess what happened...my alarm didn't go off because my phone was dead. I have tried 3 different chargers and they don't work. I was dissapointed with the first IOS 7 update and now I'm mad. I have always been an apple supported for 20 years. They need to fix this IOS now or I will never buy another IPhone again. Just reverse these horrible "updates". I had my phone plugged in to my iTunes yesterday and downloaded the new software. I then went to install the new software and it crashed half way through with an error message. Then it went off completely and wiped everything. I tried to restore from back up and now it says it has restored from yesterdays back up, restarts afterwards and says it needs to restore from back up again. and just goes round and round doing that. Even if i try an earlier back up. I also tried wiping everything back to factory settings and restoring from back up and that did the same as above. Please help!!
Something in your backup may be corrupt. Try wiping it and setting it up as a new device, then sync your apps, data and media back to it from iTunes. DO NOT resotre from your backup. If the problem is contained in the backup, it will bring it right back again if you restore.

Installed ios7 on iphone 4, now my phone wont turn on or recover?
I downloaded ios 7 over night and it worked fine, but yesterday just turned off and wont turn on again. I connect it to a wall charger and the apple logo appears then goes off and this keeps repeating. I connected it to itunes doing the thing where you hold down sleep button and home button then just home, it starts to restore but the restore is never successful.. i have done this about 20 times or more now and nothing! Different error codes keep appearing and I have tried youtube videos but still unsuccessful! Please help! My phone is relatively new and I really can't afford a new one.
Thanks!Actually, I've found that after installing IOS5, the SMTP configuration for Comcast email is incorrect. Comcast uses SSL and after upgrading to IOS5, the phone seems to have lost that part of the setting.
In my configuration, I have an SMTP server set up as follows and it now works:
Host name: smtp.comcast.net
UserName: fill this in with your user id
Password: filled in with your password
Use SSL: ON
Authenticaion: Password
Server Port: 587
