Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

I want to upgrade my computer and did a Windows Easy Transfer to my new one. My Firefox bookmarks did not show up on my new computer so I used Firefox Sync-which worked fine. Now that I have the bookmarks on the new computer, can I erase the old computer and still have the bookmarks on the new one.
First, disconnect your old computer from Firefox Sync so you don't accidentally delete the data from sync, but then yes you should be good to go.

I am trying to unlock my phone - this required me to download itunes onto a friend's PC in PNG. Now it won't restore the phone (which I have to do in order to unlock it) without downloading this 800Mb file, which will cost me approx AUD$200. Help.
Are there any other options out there?Nope. You need an .ipsw file to restore your phone & since your friend didn't have iTunes, obviously there is no current .ipsw file to use. You can go to an Apple store, use your own computer, find another computer, but you can't restore without a current signed .ipsw file.

can I delete an album from my computer and re-download from my purchases? I bought an album and some of the songs only play partof the way through and some won't play at all. One of them says this computer is not authorized to play this trac.
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks only from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to restart iTunes. While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

My husband and I share a new PC. We have different music tastes and each have an iphone. How can we both use our one computer and one itunes program with separate music libraries and separate iphones?
Each device only syncs waht you select.
Select only what you want for each phone. -

I have a Mac OS X version 10.5.8 and recently got an Iphone4. I can not access Icloud from my computer. Is there any software, new operating system or anything I can purchase that will allow me access to the cloud?
Upgrading to Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
You can purchase Snow Leopard by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will receive physical media - DVD - by mail.
Third-party sources for Snow Leopard are:
Snow Leopard from Amazon.com
Snow Leopard from eBay
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
Be sure your computer meets the minimum requirements:
Apple - OS X Mountain Lion - Read the technical specifications.
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
7. Xserve (Early 2009)
Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps - App compatibility and feature support for OS X & iOS.
Am I eligible for the free upgrade?

i have an apple acct. and itune acct. how do i access them from my ACER laptop ? tks. jeff
Movies are not stored in iCloud. However, they may be available for re-download through iTunes in the cloud if they were purchased and iTunes in the cloud is available in your country. Same applies to music.

iPad 2 froze while updating iOS 7.0.4. When connected to PC & iTunes get the message in recovery mode, must restore. I have followed the steps to restore and still have the iTunes screen showing and iTunes still does not recognize device.
Sorry if we didn't get to your question fast enough; we are all volunteers doing this in our spare time. Try the steps in this article. If you're unsuccessful, you'll need to take your device to the Genius Bar for an evaluation.

How do I access icloud from my computer at work?
how do I access icloud from my computer at work?
iCloud does not offer general file storage in the manner of iDisk, only syncing of iWork and Textedit files for access by your iOS devices. In Lion you go to the iWork section of iCloud and drag the files there in the Finder (they sync automatically on iOS); in Mountain Lion you can save directly to iCloud. But you can't store other types of files (other than by the odd workaround).

when installing iTunes on my new laptop a message box appears saying some sort of error has occured and i have to uninstall it then reinstall it again and it still won't work what should i do?
Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you? If so, does iTunes launch properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -
my phone has been losing calls and according to the apple store i need to reset it due to a software fault - i have done this and still have the same problems. how do i reset the phone without reinstalling the soft ware fault by way of icloud backup
Well, it appears that your backup is corrupt, thus causing your issue. So, you'll have to restore as a new device, & not from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone:

Do not restore from backup. -

I am having trouble putting the songs i purchased onto my ipod shuffle help me someone please and i dont understand why i have a cloud by the songs
You add them from your computer by syncing with iTunes, as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12313. The cloud symbol you see in Purchased list in the iTunes app on your iPod is to download them from the iTunes store if you ever need to, or don't have access to a computer to sync them to your iPod. This feature is called "iTunes in the Cloud".

Can I save documents from my PC to the icloud and access them from another computer?
Can I save documents from my PC to icloud and access them from anywhere?
This forum is for OSX users.
Only within OSX you can store documents in iCloud, basically linked to iWork softwares.
Please check Microsoft Office cloud solutions.
