I burned photos to a CD-R and the CD-R automatically ejected. The photos are now on the CD-R. Now I keep getting an error message that says to complete the burn before I can quit iPhoto. I can not shut down the computer until iphoto shuts down.

Hit Command + Option + esc on your keyboard and force quit iPhoto. I'm sure it just got stuck talking to your optical drive.

What version of iPhoto do you have installed? Is if one of the versions shown as not compatible in this screenshot?
If it is then go to the App Store and download iPhoto 9.5. It will be free if you have an iPhoto 9 or later verson currently.

I keep getting an error message that says that Google's catego can't be found & to retry, but retrying doesn't work and I have to restart Firefox several times.

When I try to access Google, I always get a message that says this category can't be found and to report this broken site to Google or retry. Retrying never works and I usually have to exit Firefox and make several attempts before I get Google. Firefox can find my server but Google never on the first, second, or third try. Google says it is a problem with Firefox. This never happened until I upgraded to Windows 7!

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

I have the exact same problem! With just one website. It's when I have a second account on it. I can sign in with my original (old) account, but not with my new account that I wish to sign in on. I've talked to a lot of people members of the website who have second accounts and this doesn't happen with them, it's only with my firefox. Hi Allan, thanks for that. I've already set up a log in for my wife and that is all working fine. The problem is that when she logs in and opens iTunes and trys to associate her library with her iTunes account she gets the error message "This computer is already associated with another iTunes account". Whilst this is true, the computer is associated with my iTunes account under my separate log in, which should have nothing to do with hers. If she transfers the association to her account it will lock me out of my content on my log in for 90 days - I'm trying to work out how to associate each of the log in accounts with a separate iTunes account so we can access our music independently of one another without locking each other out. Hope that makes sense!

I just reinstalled my PS7 onto a new computer, Vista, and now I keep getting an error message which says "photoshopelementssyncagent.exe-no disk. I turned off Firewall, allowed Firewall to let in program and nothing works. I can't even get into

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. I'm trying to redeem my digital copies by inserting the disk and entering in my code, but I keep getting an error message that says "An error occurred while copying "*movie* from the DVD to your computer- the required disk cannot be found"

I don't know what is going on, I have tried this with several movies as we got a few for Christmas and I keep getting the same error message- I will admit that my MAC is a couple of years old, so I wonder if it is a hardware problem with my disk drive- the error message has a smaller type message saying to check the DVD for dirt or damage and try it again, but the disks are all brand new with nothing on them at all- I have already experienced trying to get a digital copy when it has expired (stupid movie companies) and they wouldnt' let me redeem it, I worry that I will have the same problem if I wait too long to get these movies...

Have you tried uninstalling the driver for your iPod from within Device Manager? After uninstalling it, go ahead and unplug your iPod and plug it back in. Doing so should cause your system to locate the proper driver for it.

I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.
