    What computer operating system is involved? I will assume Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit for now.
    If your Premiere Elements 9 was registered when first installed, the serial number for it may be at Adobe.
    Please go to the Adobe web site http://www.adobe.com, sign in with your Adobe ID and Password, in the Search field type My Products.
    Then follow the My Products link to your products. In the Your Products list find Adobe Premiere Elements 9 and click on it to reveal the serial number.
    After Premiere Elements 9 is installed, remember to download and install the 9.0.1 Update from
    Adobe - Premiere Elements : For Windows : Premiere Elements 9.0.1 update
    I have assumed that your program is on a Windows computer.

    If you ever registered your MacBook Pro using your Apple ID you may be able to get the serial number by going to your support profile. Follow the directions in this Apple article -
    Go to My Support Profile*.
    Sign in with your Apple ID.
    View your purchases in "My Products".

    You may be able to find iDVD as part of the iLife 11 Retail Package. It is no longer sold by Apple, but you may find it on eBay or Amazon.
    Other options include Toast from Roxio.

    Im traveling in india right now and using aperture for my photo editing. it was fine until recently, and now its asking for a serial number every time i open it. I dont have that serial number, it is at home. I tried finding an a support email address, but i can't find one, only phone numbers. oh and i have the latest update.

    A couple of months ago i posted asking for a download to get palm desktop for windows xp, since i couldn't use the download page due to the fact that the serial number on my visor deluxe is missing (garage sale, whaddya expect?). I'm glad you guys were able to help, but guess what, i've switched to mac, so it's back to square one.

    For Christmas 2012 I received Adobe Premiere and Photoshop Elements 11 and put these programs on my windows desktop. I recently purchased a new windows laptop and wanted to put these two programs on it so I could edit photos and videos on the go. I had the install disk but not the serial numbers so I logged in to my Adobe account and went to 'My Products.' But when I went to this, it only showed Photoshop Elements 11,  not Premier. I have both programs installed on my desktop but only one appears on my account? What is going on and how can I find the serial number for Premier?

    Trying to reinstall Final Cut Pro five in a older computer that I put a new hard drive because the old one crashed. I have original installation disk manual and everything that came in the studio but I seem to of lost my installation manual with my serial number on it where else can I find it?

    If you've lost the serial number, you might be able to obtain a new one from Apple, provided you have proper documentation: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1861
    FWIW, it is always a good idea to keep software serial numbers in a database, spreadsheet or text file.

  • How come I don't have serial number button for FCP academic version?

    I just received the Academic Version FCP and on the installation disk, there is no button to install the serial number or user information.

    FCS comes with the serial numbers printed on the front of the getting started booklet. If you don't have that, you'll need to call Applecare. In the box you should find a card with Applecare phone support numbers.
    Give them a call. New purchases come with 90 days support for installation issues.
