i buy lock iphone from bestbuy last 6 months ago.i can't used it right now.because it still can't unlock, it yet. i saw from official apple web sit (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC603LL/A?afid=p219|GOUS&cid=AOS-US-KWG) is now selling unlock iphone4. that is why i asking the request to get my phone to unlock. when i buy from bestbuy i have to pay full amount of money.and is without contract. but I have to pay full amount of money. so at least your apple service must do for unlock to iphone4.
First, you're not talking to Apple here -- we're users just like you who try to help others, Apple employees rarely participate.
If you bought an iPhone from Best Buy 6 months ago it was locked to a particular carrier. You cannot unlock such a phone -- the only way to get an unlocked iPhone is to buy an officially unlocked one, but that's not what you have.

You can buy an unlocked iPhone at any of the 5 Apple stores in NYC. All are open on Sunday. Note a couple of things, however:
US iPhone 5's will work on 3G in the rest of the world, but not on LTE because the US phones use different channels than other countries
Be sure you say "unlocked", not "no contract"
If it breaks it must be returned to a US store for repair, and if shipped to Apple it must be from and to a US address -

Your question has been answered. Jailbreaking cannot be discussed here. If you buy a phone locked to a carrier, it would be down to them to unlock it, and that's very unlikely if you've only just got the phone. Locked phones are "cheap" for a reason - you're signing up for a contract and that subsidises the cost of the phone.

So I called the Apple store and they said it'd only be $149 to fix it. And all I would do is bring it in and pay my money and they'd give me a brand new one. What service would it be hooked up to? And Would I need to buy a straight talk card and then set it up to his credit card or do i just call and set it up to his credit card and take money out or what?Under the out of warranty replacement program, you get an iPhone identical to the one you are replacing...same color, same storage capacity, locked to the same carrier if it is carrier specific. You will have to activate it for use with Verizon just like it was done with the old iPhone.

Doubt it. The phone will probably be locked to a specific carrier and you will be out of luck. I suggest just buying one brand new instead of someone else.

Regardless and as already provided, the iPhone is sold in the U.S. as carrier locked with AT&T only and AT&T does not unlock an iPhone for any reason under any circumstances. -

I don't claim that everything on ebay is fine, there are a lot of fakes and such a puchase is for experiensed ebay users ONLY.
But it can be unlocked and until they set it free, there will be thousants sold like mine. I wouldn't wait for some months to buy it from the well known phone resailer in Greece, who could give me no support at all, with a closed contract with a provider for I don't know how many years and pay double as much as it really costs. -

If you restore from your last backup, it will replace what you now have on your phone. If you set it up as new, you will have a phone just out of the box without any of your data on it. You can download any apps again. You can sync your music through iTunes.

Just FYI, apple will not ship outside the country in which the device is purchased. A device purchased in the Hong Kong website must have a shipping and billing address in Hong Kong.
Also, warranty and support are only valid in the country of origin. -

The US Apple Store accepts US-issued credit cards only. And they will ship only to a US address. Whether or not a physical Apple Store would accept a Lebanese credit card I don't know.

Don't worry about that. iPhone stuck in recovery mode always happens when you update the iOS on your iPhone. There are two ways to solve it.
First is is to put your iPhone in DFU mode.
Step 1. Turn off iPhone
Step 2. Hold down the Power and Home button.
Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the Home button down.
Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that it’s in restore mode.
If DFU mode can't solve the problem, I'm afraid the only solution is to try some 3rd party software, like iPhone data recovery or something like that. You may simply try the tutorial here: How to Fix iPhone that is Stuck in Recovery Mode. -
