I Cal changes days

I can insert data into the iCal quite easily at the right time and day, but when I come to look at it the day has gone back by one, and often the data is duplicated. So for instance an appointment at 1 on Jan29 becomes duplicated an appointment at 1 on Jan 28th.
Is there anything I can do to stop this. I have checked my Time and Date settings and they are all right.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I use both Tiger and Leopard.

I too get the Confirmation of the 30 days after I check the box. However after I say "Yes" I can change the number to whatever I would like.

I have a problem with syncing my calander with outlook 2007 for iPhone 5s, ipad 1st and 3rd generation. Contacts work find, and new and changed enteries in outlook all go to the devices. Device Cal changes do not appear in Outlook

Over the past year or so, I have been unable to fully sync my iPads with outlook 2007 calander. Now I have an iPhone 5s, and really need the calander fixed. Contacts seem to sync in both directions, and any new or changed cal enteries in outlook appear on the device. The problem is that any new or changed calander enteries do not make ip back to outlook 2007, so there is only one-way syncing (down to the device) but no return, for calander entries.
I am now using the latest itunes, which I followed the recommendation delete all apple stuff, and then reinstall, I have used scanpst, built new PSts, etc, am I am stuck.
Not using icloud either.
Not using wi-fi, purely USB cabale sync
Running on Windows XP, SP3
Now IOS 7.0.2 on iPhone and 1 iPad (3rd gen)

Bottom line: if you follow the recommendation to delte all itunes software and re-install, it don't work (at least for me and many others).
However, purge the data (certain data) and the data syncs.
I think the folder is Apple Computer\Preferences and it needs to be purged.
To be sure, maybe someone can rename the folder on their system, then run itunes and see if it syncs ok.
The idea is to figure out the least minimum stuff that needs to be touched in order to get a working solution than having to purge all Apple software and then rebuild it all over again.
I had purged other files out of inpatience, but did not want to purge entire folders because I had Safari, and Quicktime software, and did not want to wipe that out, Plus there were software downloads and device backups in some of those folders. But I really believe it is the preferences folder, and I would like someone with the same problem to try it and verify it.
Once the preferences folder is removed/renamed (taken out of the picture) pluggin in the device and go to the INFO (I think that is the iTunes tab) page where you select calanders, contacts, email accounts, etc. They will all be unchecked (because you wiped out the preferences) and you need to reselect them. Then run your sync.
What I had done in testing was create something on the device, and modify something else on the device looking to see what got up to Outlook. I got the good news that something good was happening when I got the conflict message from iTunes, and it showed both Outlook and iPhone, showing the calander entry I changed on the iPhone. Never got that before. After the sync, everything looked good the few test entries were uploaded to outlook.
Now, My Cal is 10L+ enteries, and I am doing 100% sync (I don't select the option to ignore enteries over x days). I also have 1400+ contacts. Before this change, the sync of contacts & calanders took a couple of hours (and only operated ONE-WAY, now the syn is taking less than 5 minutes for this one step.
I am a Windows XP Professional user, x32 bit system, using Outlook 2007, iTunes 11.1.1.11, I am standalone (no exchange server) and have about 10 email accounts (mainly POP) defined. I am using only one calander in outlook, but I have Outlook and 2 gmail calanders in the iPhone.
I am running iPhone 5s and iPad 3rd Gen both with IOS 7.0.2 and a 1st generation iPad with the latest version of IOS 5.x.
If anyone else has success, I'd like to hear, along with your experience.

when you run the delta ,you need to mention that what is the lat update and where you need to consider it as a next delta.
suppose if you select calday and soppose you run the init at say 05.12.2006,
then the records which are created after this date and till the present date will be considered as one delta.
If you mention it as timestampthen it willconsider both date and timeas a marker to run the delta
If you mention calday then you can run delta only oncethat too at the lasthour in a day otherwise you will miss the records, whereas if you mention timestamp then you can run deltas mutiple times in a day.
if you set numeric pointer your delta will pick the records greater than the numbers where you set the pointer , and this will be only applied when you have a field with numerics.
We will set safety uppre limit to run the present delta and also the previous delta once again , inorder not to miss any records on a safer side.
same is the case with lower limit.

ICal: Hot to change "Day starts at" (iPad)

asked a couple of times before, still couldn't find any help where so ever
Do you guys know where I can change the "Day starts at:" preference on the iCal for iPad? It doesn't work setting it up on the mac and then syncing it, unfortunately!!

You can't change the start day of the calendar, the app has no setting to make the change. The only way that you can do this is by changing the region format to a country where the calendar starts on a different day, but that is not a viable solution since it will change your time and other things associated with the country.

Change days for the weekend

I live in Saudi Arabia and our weekend is a Friday and Saturday. Can I change the ipod settings to reflect this? I have tried changing the international format but that changes the language to arabic. I don't think it actually changes the days of the working week. Anyone have any ideas?

No. As yo found out, it is linked the Region setting/selection.
You might be able to find a Calendar app that allows you do do what you want.

Hello, I am a night-owl. It would help when planning my day if the day hour range spanned from something like 11am to 3am, rather than 12am to 11pm. I don't think this is possible but thought I should ask, anyway.

I think you want to know, days & time picked by which machine, locally or from server? It does take from server where the application is running.

Hallelujah - and good riddance Basso!!!!
After hunting about thru lots of different posts in lots of different places I have found how to do it and have done so myself with great success, thanks to someone called Mike DiVincenzo back in August 2012.
1. In Finder, go to the "Go" menu: Computer/Macintosh HD /System/Library/Sounds.
2. Delete the “Basso.aiff” file.
3. Make a copy of the alert sound you want.
4. Rename the copy to “Basso.aiff.”
5. This will make all apps that use Basso for Notification Center play your chosen sound instead.
You will be asked to add your Mac (NOT your Apple ID) password to make the changes a couple of times.
And you will have to restart your computer to have the change take effect.
***Note also ... "Backson" in Dec. 2013 said:-
"A safer alternative to deleting Basso is to rename it to something else (like "Basso-BACKUP.aiff"). That way, if you ever decide you want to get the sound back, it's not gone forever. Or you could make a backup copy of it in some other directory."
I'm s-o-o-o grateful to those two people. Fantastic advice.

If Hoek's solution isn't doing what you want, post that table, and the results you want 9as few columns as possible, just to show the part with which you need help).
If there was an earlier thread that would be helpful to see, then post a link to it.
Whether you use Hoek's approach or mine, it looks like you'll want to compute the number of days first, in a sub-query, so that you can use a simple number (rather than a complicated expression) two or three times to get the right format.
That is, you'll want something like:

Planning Unit - Changing Days to Hours

The project I am working in started with Engineering work, scheduled in days. I have added the Construction portion later, which needs to be scheduled in hours. How do I do this within the same schedule without affecting the previous work? I'm working in Primavera P6.1.

The default planning unit in P6 is hours. So, even though your Engineering work is entered in days, the schedule is calculated based on the equivalent hours.

Production efficiency changing day wise

I had a bit of a strange scenario, which I am finding hard to map. Any possible suggestions on this would be greatly helpful.
Each time my client receives a sales order for a material, production runs at 25% efficiency on day 1 for production, 30% efficiency on day 2, 35% percentage efficiency on day 3 and finally 50% efficiency on day 4. I know I can create different Production Versions, each with different efficiency. My challenge here is to automatically pick up the production version depending on the day on which the Production order is created.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Changing day to begin at 06:00 a.m.

Is it possible to set the beginning of a day at 06:00 a.m. instead 00:00 in the Master produciton scheduling setting??. We are thinking to set the beginning of day at 6 o'clock in the morning. Master Production Scheduling schedules the end of planned orders at 23:59:00 of the day before delivery. We would like to have planned orders with end time 05:59 of the same day of delivery.
Could someone help us?

Please check the shift timings in the work center. and maintain the shift sequence time to 6:00 AM.
you check the planned order production version and through routing check the work center assignment and then chekc the shift timings.

EWA: How to change alert DAYS?

Hi Experts,
I want to know how to change days of EarlyWatch alerts. They all are setup for every Monday. How can I change some of them to be scheduled for some other days as well. I'm on SOLMAN SP13. Before SP13, I was able to change the days by going to tcode DSWP, select solution, then solution Landscape > solution Landscape Maintenance > Solution settigs > Here I was able to see days etc...
Can some one please help me?

Relevant for missing EWA data in SolMan is the RFC destination from Satellite System to SolMan.
Please check the following in the Satellite System:
RFC Destination (default name: SM_<SID>CLNT<client>_BACK ) to SAP Solution Manager exists and is functional.
Transaction SDCCN (Service Data Control Center) must have been activated. Maintenance Package runs daily. RFC Destination (default name: SM_<SID>CLNT<client>_BACK ) is assigned in SDCCN: Goto -> Settings -> Task-Specific -> Session Data Collection -> RFC Destinations -> Settings.
Check protocol of SDCCN. You should find a task "EarlyWatch Alert for Solution Manager" (or similar)

I cannot change the year to 2013 on my mac, month and day will change

My date won't change to 2013 automatically and it will not allow me to change the year manually. I can change day and month. What's up?

I want to sign in using apple id password and altho i have changed my email address on the settings, the old one comes up on the box on the ipad when trying to update all the apps. so putting password in no longer works, as its the address. how fix ?

Signing in using the apple id password to update and purchase stuff thru apple store, gives the old email and am unable to get into the apps store, etc...to change, update and purchase stuff. when using password it won't work, as the email is wrong, yet in the box doesn't appear a place to change the email. would have thought as it changed, days ago - it would change to the updated email.
