If itunes gives you the error that the iphone can't sync because the iphone is disconnected, there is something the iphone does not like and itunes kicks the iphone out. This can be an issue with corrupted data or a setting that the iphone cannot interpret. It is usually only one or two contacts doing this.
The way to isolate this problem down is to create a group in address book and set itunes to sync only to that group. Then you can move a few contacts at a time to that group and sync the iphone.
If you just moved a few contacts and the iphone kicks out, then you know that one of the contacts you moved is causing the issue. Then start removing a single contact out of the batch you just moved and sync the iphone until you no longer get the error. Then the contact you just moved back is the culprit. Delete and recreate the contact and try syncing back to the iphone.
You might want to work through all your contacts this way just to make sure there is not more than one that could cause this issue.

when i create a user with mail and cal, initially when the user logs in to uwc clicking the cal tab will result in an error:

icscalendarowned=
icscalendarsubscribed=
effectively deleting the bottom two,
the calendar tab works - not sure if the above is necessary, perhaps doing something less drastic would also work...
actually just noticed (after logging into uwc) the bottom two keys are recreated with jsmith$John Smith as their values - and it still works.
could the @ in the password be causing this?

I have heard about some issues with strange characters in passwords causing Outlook Connector issues, but not logging into calendar.
It's REALLY important to post versions in each of your posts. I see so many of these daily, I don't remember your version.
Hopefully, somebody in the calendar forum will be able to help you.

Installing SQL Server 2012 Developer Edition or wait for SP2?

Hi everyone,
I just received my copy of SQL Server 2012 Developer Edition I ordered. As usual, before installing, I searched the web for any hint or other stuff on the subject.
I first found that SP1 was already available. Honestly I prefer installing using the last version available instead of upgrading. I found the SP1 install package using the following web address:

Is this the right install package to use?
Now, still reading everything I could find on that SP1, I found stories about major issues with SP1.

Finally, can someone guide me regarding what options I should choose while installing. My main goal is to program/build C++, C# applications using VS2010 that will interface with SQL Server for data storage purposes (add/update/delete,
batch update/delete) and reports.

I have a problem with syncing my calander with outlook 2007 for iPhone 5s, ipad 1st and 3rd generation. Contacts work find, and new and changed enteries in outlook all go to the devices. Device Cal changes do not appear in Outlook

Over the past year or so, I have been unable to fully sync my iPads with outlook 2007 calander. Now I have an iPhone 5s, and really need the calander fixed. Contacts seem to sync in both directions, and any new or changed cal enteries in outlook appear on the device. The problem is that any new or changed calander enteries do not make ip back to outlook 2007, so there is only one-way syncing (down to the device) but no return, for calander entries.
I am now using the latest itunes, which I followed the recommendation delete all apple stuff, and then reinstall, I have used scanpst, built new PSts, etc, am I am stuck.
Not using icloud either.
Not using wi-fi, purely USB cabale sync
Running on Windows XP, SP3
Now IOS 7.0.2 on iPhone and 1 iPad (3rd gen)

Bottom line: if you follow the recommendation to delte all itunes software and re-install, it don't work (at least for me and many others).
However, purge the data (certain data) and the data syncs.
I think the folder is Apple Computer\Preferences and it needs to be purged.
To be sure, maybe someone can rename the folder on their system, then run itunes and see if it syncs ok.
The idea is to figure out the least minimum stuff that needs to be touched in order to get a working solution than having to purge all Apple software and then rebuild it all over again.
I had purged other files out of inpatience, but did not want to purge entire folders because I had Safari, and Quicktime software, and did not want to wipe that out, Plus there were software downloads and device backups in some of those folders. But I really believe it is the preferences folder, and I would like someone with the same problem to try it and verify it.
Once the preferences folder is removed/renamed (taken out of the picture) pluggin in the device and go to the INFO (I think that is the iTunes tab) page where you select calanders, contacts, email accounts, etc. They will all be unchecked (because you wiped out the preferences) and you need to reselect them. Then run your sync.
What I had done in testing was create something on the device, and modify something else on the device looking to see what got up to Outlook. I got the good news that something good was happening when I got the conflict message from iTunes, and it showed both Outlook and iPhone, showing the calander entry I changed on the iPhone. Never got that before. After the sync, everything looked good the few test entries were uploaded to outlook.
Now, My Cal is 10L+ enteries, and I am doing 100% sync (I don't select the option to ignore enteries over x days). I also have 1400+ contacts. Before this change, the sync of contacts & calanders took a couple of hours (and only operated ONE-WAY, now the syn is taking less than 5 minutes for this one step.
I am a Windows XP Professional user, x32 bit system, using Outlook 2007, iTunes 11.1.1.11, I am standalone (no exchange server) and have about 10 email accounts (mainly POP) defined. I am using only one calander in outlook, but I have Outlook and 2 gmail calanders in the iPhone.
I am running iPhone 5s and iPad 3rd Gen both with IOS 7.0.2 and a 1st generation iPad with the latest version of IOS 5.x.
If anyone else has success, I'd like to hear, along with your experience.

I-cal back up problem

i went to back up my i-cal as a file on my desktop so I can move everything to cloud and the back up will not finish. I can't access my i-cal and my computer will not shut down properly b/c this program keeps on running. It's beent his ways for over a week-HELP!
The imorting i-cal icon download bar keeps on ruuning and I have no idea what to do!

OK, well lets see what happens. If you still have problems then do both a SMC & PRAM reset. You should probably do each 2x.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

5911 self cal reports a problem w/ the temp stab circuit. not due to pc -12V

I have three 5911 scope cards in a test pc and one generates a temperature stabilization circuit error when self cal is ran and times out when operated through NI-MAX test panel. I have swapped card positions and the problems follows the card. Is the card repairable?

In the Finder, press the key combination shift-command-A to open the Applications folder. Select the Safari icon in that folder and press the key combination command-I to open the Info window. There’s a checkbox in the Info window labeled Open in 32-bit mode. If that box is checked, uncheck it. Close the Info window and the Applications folder.

There are a few twists here. This is my opinion of a quick and easy way to do what you want to do.
Get a 2.5" sata enclosure like this one - this is just a sample:

Put the new ssd in the enclosure, connect it to the Mac using the included USB cable. It is now an external drive.
Format the drive using Disk Utility.
Download and run Carbon Copy cloner, and clone your drive to the new external.
Shutdown. Open the MBP and remove the SSD drive from the enclosure and put it in the place of the old drive.
Boot the MBP. Once you know the new drive is up and running, you can get to the process of installing the old one in the optical bay.

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

Bonjour a tous, voila j'ai un probleme depuis environ 1 mois avec mon macbook pro 15" 2ghz acheté en aout 2011, l'écran se fige brutalement, l'image se decalle a l'écran et il fait plein de trait puis j'ai le message comme quoi je doit redemarrer le mac. Je n'ai pas une utilisation intensive de l'ordi, je n'ai jamais mis de jeu dessus et très peut de programme, ( le plus gros est photoshop cs5 master collection ). J'ai regarder beaucoup de forum a droite et a gauche mais rien se rapprochant de mon probleme. Ne sachant pas si sa venait d'une mauvaise manipulation de ma part, et après avoir fait les test avec AHT et moult manip j'ai formaté le disque dur sans probleme mais le probleme est revenu. Je commence vraiment a etre desepérer je ne sait vraiment plus quoi faire, si jamais vous avez eu se probleme je serait très heureux de le savoir et si jamais vous avez besoin d'information plus détaillé je les donnerait sans probleme. merci

When we are running MIRO, at that time system is calculating wrong amount of Service Tax against clearing agent Invoice verification.
In that if we change the Quantity to 0.001 unit then system will calculate right amount of service tax.
In OBYC Tcode we have maintaine Transaction ZCA for Clearing Agent. But when we see in the Table T030A - Transaction Keys and assignment to Groups, Transaction ZCA is not there.
How can i assign the Transaction ZCA to this table ?
CAn anyone help me ?

LUT Loader or adobe gamma realted software of startup program in CS3? serious problem here with cali

I have serious problems with calibration here.
White turns to maroon while going gray.
Something is going on very bad.
I have installed PS3. I´m told to remove any LUT loader or whatever photoshop installs on the system in order to leave my own profiles load.
I don´t find any kind of loader, and i´m quite worried about what´s going on with the color here.
I use equipment for photographer: 10bit NEC screen (multisync LCD3080UX+) and Matrox Parhelia 128MB graphic card. The software is Monaco Optix with BasicColor together, using a MonacoOptix XR calibration hardware.
I do everything correctly, and this goes wrong. Can you please help me or redirect me somewhere better?.

The profile is corrupt, doesn't matter which system it is a very old problem that has shown up in quite a while. Find in which directory the monitor profile is located trash it so that you do not overwrite it when making a new one and then make the new one.
Or go Nck's way and continue to have the problem.

Having and amusing symptom of sometimes repeating what you said three minutes ago without really recalling ever saying it is not a not exactly a symptom one would have from a severe head injury. Having an unnoticeable paralysis to one side of the face that keeps improving over time is also not a symptom of a severe head injury telling some one that if you survive the injury then there is not much affect it has on your life is probably a misunderstanding by someone who is a bit unrealistic about many things in life.
And of course Nick is just showing the world exactly how big he is and make no misunderstandings about this we have a pretty good idea how big you are, my sympathies.

Why I can"t receive cals (this is my 3rd consecutive iPhone 5 with this problem)?

This is happening very often.
When sombody call"s me, when I answer the counter remains blocked at 00:00. The phone blocks and after 20 second it is showing me that I have 1 missed call.
A lot of my friends are telling me that I can not be reached (like I have my phone shut down).
Also, when I try to make a call, sometimes, is showing me "connection error".
This is frustrating since is my 3rd iPhone 5, the previos 2 were changed by service.
The iphone 5 is bought in Romania from Orange Store Romania.

This is my 3rd iPhone 5 changed (based on my waranty) by Orange Romania, and all have the same problems.
They even recognise that a lot of people are complaining about this problem.

ALV - PROBLEM IN CAL AVG

I have a problem, please help me out.
Iam doing an report program with alv display. In that iam calculating the AVG for the workcenter wise for the field TAT.
please observe my below o/p in general ALv format.
work center-- TAT- Tat(Yes/no)
qm0010------ 1 -- yes
qm0010-------2 -- yes
qm0010------ 4 -- yes
qm0010------ 7 -- No (because >5)
Subtotal(qm0010)--3 (avg caluculated)
qm0020-- 4 --- yes
qm0020-7-- No (because >5)
qm0020--10 - No (because >5)
qm002010- No (because >5)
Subtotal(qm0020)-- 7 (avg caluculated).
this is the rough o/p iam getting . this is acheived by programming the Field catalog for TAT field i.e... do_sum = 'C'.
then giving the sort table to REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
Now my problem is:
I want the avg to be calcuted by the business formula which is:
avg = sum of(TAT within 5 days) / total no of the entries .
Ex:
work center-- TAT- Tat(Yes/no)
qm0010------ 1 -- yes
qm0010-------2 -- yes
qm0010------ 4 -- yes
qm0010------ 7 -- No (because >5)
Subtotal(qm0010)---*7/4=2 (avg caluculated for tat<5)*

qm002010- No (because >5)
Subtotal(qm0020)--4/4=1 (avg caluculated for tat<5).
How can i acheive the above, since in field catalog and alv, i think we cannot pass any conditions(like for TAT which is less than 5). So is there any other way to acheive the above.
Please understand the problem and give me(please directly dont suggest any programs , since iam not a expert to understand)..
Please explain me in detail. Points will be duly rewarded.
