I can access Hotmail, but unable to access messages when I click on them, nor can delete, etc. when I click on

When I go to MSN home, I sign in, go to Hotmail account and can get to my inbox, etc. However, when I click on a message I get no response; nor do I get a response when I click on another folder; or, when I check a message and try to move or delete it, I get no response. I recently switched computers (from a Mac G3 to Mac G4, same OS 10.3.9) but that doesn't seem to be the problem as I have been able to retrieve other sites and data as before.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. As for your issues, let's see if the sites aren't simply having problems with such an old version of Firefox.

What iOS are you currently running?
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

I just checked your account, and see that it's active. Are you trying to sign in via Adobe Reader? If so, please choose Help > Check for Updates in Reader and make sure that it-s up-to-date. The most current version, 11.0.07, should alleviate that sign-in error.

IOS 4 Error: "Unable to Move Messages" when Deleting Multiple Messages

Using an iPhone 4 and IOS 4.x (all versions to date including 4.1) if I'm in the All Inboxes view and use Edit to select multiple messages from more than one Exchange account and then delete them I get the following error:
Unable to Move Messages
The messages could not be moved to the mailbox Trash.
Deleting multiple messages from a single Exchange account is fine, but when selecting messages from more than one account the message pops up as many times as messages I'm trying to delete. I currently have three Exchange accounts on both 2003 and 2007 servers. This issue persists across multiple iPhone 4s as well as after a complete restore and manual setup of the Exchange accounts from scratch.

I have my email set up as an IMAP account and was getting the same "unable to move..." message for individual deletions. I suspected the problem for me had to do something with the trash bin on the phone and the trash bin on the server not communicating properly. I tried this and it worked for me, although from other posts, I see it doesn't work for everyone:
1. Go to "Settings"
2. Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
3. Select the mail account in question
4. Select "Account Info"
4. Select "Advanced"
5. Select "Deleted Mailbox"
6. Under "On My Server", Click the "Trash" folder (or whatever your trash folder is called on your server). This should put a check mark beside it.

Able to log into Hotmail but unable to read emails

So basically, what's happening is that I'm able to log into my hotmail account and see the inbox and all, but I can't click on my emails to read them. It's really frustrating cos I've tried using Firefox and another computer, but neither works! Please help me I'm kind of desperate!

if you r desperate, get a gmail account and have it send and receive messages as your hotmail account. to anyone who you send an email to, it will seem like you are still using hotmail.

'UNABLE TO CONNECT' message when trying to access wifi

My 16gb iphone 3G has lost its capability to connect to wifi since upgrading to latest software. It will see available connections but when i try to connect it says 'unable to connect'
Tried various methods like resetting internet connection etc. Just wont connect.

I have a 32gb iPhone 4 with version 4.2.1 with a similar issue. However, my problem popped up out of the blue. Yesterday it connected to my home wi-fi with no problem, but today, it gives me the "Unable to join the network" message.
I'm certain it's not an issue with the network because I'm connected to the same network on my laptop right now. (As is every other wireless device in our home.)

Why do I see a directory access message when trying to install iTunes?

iTunes won't install. I first got this error when trying to update to 9.2: "Error writing to file C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.Resources\it.lproj\TVShowsIntro.nib\objects.xib. Verify that you have access to that directory." I then tried to uninstall and reinstall and I keep getting the same error during the 'copying files' part of the install process. Can someone please tell me how to fix this issue? Thanks.

That's consistent with disk/file damage.
Let's try running a chkdsk over your C drive. There's instructions and a guided help in the following document.
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk r/ (depending on how you go about this):

Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, try another install. Does it go through properly this time?

Keychain displays restricted access message when I try to view passwords in both login and iCloud

If I try to view a password for either an application or website using Keychain. As soon as I tick the box 'show password' a message pops up saying "Access to this item is restricted" How can I access and view my passwords?

I have an iPhone 4 and tried to update to iOS6 but received an error message when trying to restore. The phone is no longer recognised on iTunes (using my Windows PC). I have reinstalled iTunes but this has not worked. What can I do??

I have followed the instructions on the apple support pages and still cannot get my phone to work. It continues to show the iTunes USB picture and is not recognised on my iTunes on the windows PC. When I connect the phone to my iMac it shows no data and says I can restore to factory setting. However if I do this will all my data be erased? How do I get my phone and data back? I have saved most of the photos that were on the phone but all my contact details and messages are stored and I really need to get them back! Would have limited memory on the phone when trying to update caused this problem?

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.

It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!
