I can answer my phone when I'm in my car, why can't I answer my phone on my i pad?
This should work on my computer too. My car isn't an apple product but it supports my I phone.
The iPad is a tablet and not a phone.

The apps in the iTunes App Store are only for the iOS devices. These apps do not run on Mac OS X. If the app exists for Mac OS X then it is a version created for the Mac and it will not run on iOS devises. If you want this app on your iOS device and on your Mac, you must buy both versions from their respective app stores. -

I know a lot of people with iphone 5 and have never heard them complain about top button always brake and screen that decides to pop off or the back of their case is bending.
That sounds like a phone that has been dropped a numerous times. -
When I sync iphone to itunes, why do my soundtracks not show as albums but via artist? IE: Pulp Fiction has 16 songs by different artists. In itunes I can pull up pulp fiction and play the 16 songs. In iphone sync the 16 songs are seperate and listed by Al Green, cowboy junkies etc... How to fix this so the ipod part of my iphone will show & play the soundtracks as albums... thanks.
What is selected under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?
If you have chosen selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres - if Pulp Fiction is available under the Albums section to be selected as an Album to be transferred to your iPhone, is it selected?
If so, when you select Albums via the iPod on your iPhone, the album is not available there to select?
You can always create an iTunes playlist with these songs placing the songs in your preferred order. -
Can anybody say why In the layer menu, the background color is white when opening a layer mask, and why does it automatically turns black by simply opening the layer mask properties menu? The vector mask is white anyway.

When I print pictures from my IMAC to my Hp C8180 they are grainy, even when I select the Best Quality- Why can't I get good quality printing from Imac ? Use the same printer with a PC and printed the same picture files- they are printed with high quality- Why can't the IMAC do the same?
Does this involve iPhoto for the Mac?

I always chose "save & quit" when I close and sometimes all my history is gone when I open Firefox again. Why? It just happened again. Can I get that history back?
You get message "firefox is still running" and computer restart doesn't help you. Try the advice below.
Make sure Firefox isn't running (end firefox.exe process in Task Manager or restart computer)
Find your profile folder
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default
find file "parent.lock" in it and delete it (the file is empty, its function is to signify to Firefox whether it's already open or not).
Then try to open Firefox again. Will it start or not? What will it say? -

Try tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store apps on your phone and iPad and log out of your account on them, and then log back in with the updated version of your account so as to 'refresh' the account on them

how do i limit the amount of emails shown on my i phone. on my i pad there is an option to show last 100 emails, 200 emails ect. i dont see that option on my i phone.

These phones aren't magic... you only have a finite amount of storage, so you should have considered the size of your mailbox before purchasing the lower capacity iPhone. Can't get mad at Apple or the design for that...
Note, it is a bad practice to run a business from the iPhone, so why do you have a pressing need to search for information in old emails?
You're treating it like a database and it's not designed for that. Email is for communication and information transmission.
For context, would you keep every single paper letter and sticky note you've used/received for your business?
And then search through those files all the time when you needed information about a client or part design?
That is what you're doing in a virtual sense...
Time for you to look into databases (contacts, notes, Filemaker, etc.) are ways to store and retrieve information without taking up tons of space (like email)
Who is your email provider?
Have you considered using their version of the mail app if they have one? (works like webmail but through their app instead)
You should also consider the databases/archives below and moving the emails/content/information into it.

Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back. -

I suggest you check the manual, http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf to see if it requires wifi for this to work. You might also want to try a reset on your device. It will have no affect on your data. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see if this will cause the content to download. You also have the option to go to iTunes Store>More>Purchased and you can select the purchases and download them. -

What the ****? I didnt ask it to do that. invasion of my proivacy ****** ********Instead of Ignore, you must have touched the button for Message. Solaris 10 U8 autofs homes not working
On three fresh installs of U8, home directories are not automounting. Has this been changed in any way? This is using files based users. Autofs shows online and there are no errors in the SMF log. Any ideas? Charles
