I can boot, i can login, but every thing keeps flashing..!!

its all happened after the upgrade to 10.5.1, it was working so fine before on my G4 iMac, now when i log it to one of my two users, the admin one, it reaches to the desktop, shows the files and folders, menus, dock, but the wheel keeps spinning, and suddenly its like relaunching the finder, it it keeps doing this forever, the second user acts differently, it reaches the desktop and it looks like working fine, but double clicking on any file or folder or the HD, restarts the finder... i tried to safeboot it didnt help, i had to re-install 10.5 with archive and install and preserve users and network settings to be able to work again.
any ideas?!

I've tried restarting/rebooting f10 and f8 and f5 saving changes restoring defaults and nothing works. I can login but the screen is blank.

How can I delete EVERY THING off my Mac and have it like new?

There are sites that I've viewed and programs I have downloaded that I NEED to delete completely from my computer!! Ie: Friends telling me that a program is free and has no viruses, but it does! Sites forwarded that are supposed sfw, but are not!!
I would like to DELETE EVERY THING off the computer and have it be like new.
I remember on my Dell PC if I hit f8 or f11 (can't remember which one) a screen would appear and if I chose option "Dell Factory Image Restore" it would DELETE EVERY THING off of the computer and have it like new - as if you just got it from Dell.
Is there anything like that for Macs?
Whether it be some where on the computer already?
Or if it's with the CDs that came with the Mac?

Boot from the software install DVD and do an "erase and install" when prompted.

Can login, but can't get Kerberos ticket

Hi,
This is on OS X Server 10.5.8, all up to date, and an OS X Client 10.6.4, all up to date.
One user in particular can login, however they can't get a kerberos ticket (iChat and other apps fail to login). They can use the Ticket Viewer app to see that there is no ticket, but then add an identity manually and it all works fine.
If I change the password via Workgroup Manager they can login with that new password. I also ticked "change password at next login", however the client didn't pick that up (although they logged in with the new password).
Also, when trying to change the password via System Prefs, it says the old (current) password is incorrect, even though its the same as they logged on with.
I'm pretty sure the problems are to do with the Kerberos login check failing (as seen in the log below) - but why would the user be able to login, yet fail the kerberos authentication check?

Hi g30marquez. When you logged into your new phone, are you certain that you used the exact same login details as on your old device? Sometimes people have duplicate accounts, and it's possible that you accidentally signed into a second account as opposed to your primary. Do the songs still appear on the desktop client or the web player? If they do and it's just your phone that isn't displaying anything, then I'm going to assume that it's most likely that you've simply signed into the wrong account.
If that doesn't quite solve the issue, let me know and I'll happily do some more digging to help get this solved. Cheers!

Hi I can login on computer and play music with my premium account but when I login on my iphone, it's not premium so I can not play music. I try my two iphone, both did not work. I deleted the app, log out and login for several times, still the same. Can anyone help with this?Thanks!!

Can login but cannot enter itunes

After getting a new computer and having changed me apple id and password I am able to login however when I try to open itunes a message comes up on my computer that says "cannot use the application itunes because another user has it open, ask the other user to quit application then try again" I have tried everything I can thing of but cannot figure it out. Can login, but it stays offline, can't seem to become "available"

The only things I did were to delete old, unused buddies (sounds terrible, no?) and update to the latest Java update. Now I can start iChat but it never connects. Buddy list remains offline all the time. If I launch AIM, it will connect just fine, but I hate using AIM. No firewalls on, I'm connected via our university wired connection. Others are using it okay. Must be my iChat.

OK, Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Tiger Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If that doesn't fix it then this might sound scary, but I think we have to do it...

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.

EP 6 SP4 Portal Loading: Can Login but cannot go to other tabs

Installed EP 6.0 SP4 successfully. Able to login into the portal ( http://localhost:50000/irj/portal ) but it keeps saying Loading when I go to any tab like User administration or system adm.... CPU usage is only 2%
Please suggest what I am missing.
