I can get past mobile telephone selection (failed to respond)

After putting in my info and clicking next I get the error message "fail to repspond". Anybody else have this issue?

Mine finally went through. Just keep hitting the button to process, it will eventually sneak in. Once I got past that, no problems.

Everything is up to date as far as software is concerned. . .I just update anything that comes up. I have not had this problem with this computer anywhere else and I am not having a problem with any other website. I have the problem with both Safari and Google Chrome.

Hi, I am trying to update an iPhone 4 from iOS 4.3.3 to iOS 7.0.4, and every time I try to update it comes up with an error message saying that there was a problem because the network connection was reset. Is there any way I can get past this and update?

I am trying to update the iPhone for my grandmother, Judy, as I am leaving for Paris on Wednesday night and we want to have Facetime installed on her iPhone before then, so we can stay in contact with each other. HT1600 I have Apple TV version 7.4.2 and we pressed on the remote the select button and the menu button at the same time to update our software. The box shows white light, we can get the screen to select netflix but nothing will move and the box will not

I have Apple TV version 7.4.2. We read in a blog that in order to reset our Apple TV we should press the menu button and the select big button at the same time which we did. Now when we attempt to turn on the apple tv box it with the remote we get a white light and sometimes we can get the menu screen but the remote will not let us move now will it allow us to turn the apple tv on or off. If we just leave it alone, the white light eventually goes away. I did unplug the apple tv and we removed the batteries and reinstalled them from the remote and that did not make any difference. Please advise.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.

Can get past the "Power adapter plugging into wall" icon

I just got my brothers older 60gb Photo ipod and am trying to get it working on my computer. Did the whole restore thing, but now it is stuck at the Power adapter plugging into wall icon. I didn't have the original wall plug so I got a universal one at Radio Shack. Only the ipod still has the darn icon on it and I can't get past it. Any suggestions>

Lets do a trick. Connect the iPod and the cabel. The USB connector has 2 prongs that stick out a little more than the rest the goal. is to push it in a little so it charges but does not sync. Give It A Try.

First create a MimeMessage addressed to [email protected] The session for the MimeMessage could point to either of the following SMTP server:
(a) Your local ISP's smtp server. e.g. If you're on a dialup account use the SMTP server you specify on your Outlook. That'll be the easiest way...
(b) Do a DNS lookup of type MX record for sms.celcom.com.my and use that server as the SMTP server.
Add content to your message and do a Transport.send( msg);!!

Button/tab page selections fail to respond

we have a number of web-sites built with VS 2012 that normally run okay, but on occasion internal tab or button selections that usually result in a page change within the application fail to respond. When this occurs the mouse
over will display the text "javascript;" instead of expected URL name. Since it is only occasional and not all the time, I suspect it may have something to do with physical server load balancing, in that the URL is set to work on
most of the servers where others may not have been configured the exact same when chosen or possibly it has to do with a server being too busy at the time, but would expect an error or wait message instead of a lack of response. Is there an explanation
and fix for this behavior?

Tools>Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default".

indicates either
Active Scripting is disabled in the zone where the site maps to (File>Properties)
or
Your AV product has disabled Active Scripting (javascript).
To avoid confusing error messages and links 'not working' add <noscript> tags to your web pages.
If possible please include a link to your website or a mashup with your questions.

Trying to reingtall win7 on pavillion dv7 cant get past a dialog select the driver to be installed

I recently tried to reinstall my windows and made the mistake of loading windows 7 Home Premium x86 (32 bit) when it should have been Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and my fingerprint reader wouldn't install. I tried upgrading to the 64 bit which failed with a message about incompatible hardware. I tried doing a HP System restore from both the restore drive and from backup disks I didn't have any luck with either. The restore using the 5 cds I created made it to the 5th cd and then failed without any reason other than error code "HP Recovery Manager error Code 0xe0ef000e" and told me to contact HP Support.
I have deleted my partitions and created just one partition at this point and tried to install windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and it starts off ok but gets to a dialog that says install windows => select the driver to be installed => and I can't get beyond this point. It doesn't tell me what driver it is looking for and my only options are browse and rescan because next is grayed out.

Your PC should not require any special drivers for W7 to install.
Try downloading the W7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit iso file from the link below and follow the instructions to use the Microsoft ISO to USB tool.
Make sure you get the whole file to download. Make a note of the advertised size and compare that with the actual file that downloaded. Sometimes it states the download was complete but the whole file isn't there.
Use the Windows 7 USB/DVD installation tool to compile the ISO file you download from Digital River. Link below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB method of compilation.

Use the 25 character product key on the PC to activate the installation.
The key will activate either a 32 or 64 bit installation.

I cannot get past the Language selection setup.

I cant scroll up or down through the languages, but apparently i can reset the ipod by holding the middle button and the menu button. So i am confused on why i cant even click the middle button to choose English.

If none of the 5 R's are able to resolve the issue, it's likely a hardware issue, meaning you'll need to have the iPod serviced/replaced either by Apple or a third party service. The clickwheel needs replacing.

It might help to let the iPod's battery fully drain first and then charge it back up as well before and after working through each of the 5 Rs.

Restore it as new first, activate it, then restore it from your backup.
When you restore an iPhone as new it updates your carrier settings, which sounds as if it's the issue.
Be sure that you still have your previous backup though.

Remove the Mail account. Go to Mail preferences>Accounts>and go the account and delete it. When it's done, go back and add it back.

Can't get past Activation

Trying to restore back up to new iphone5 I followed these instructions: I went to settings - general - reset - erase all contents and settings - I erased all contents and settings. Prompted me to start over -- and I can't get past ACTIVATION. "Activation failed. Please retry activation.". Been doing that for about 30 mins now.
What do I do now?

No, it won't work there either.
Just be patient.
I called Apple already and the support team had the same problem.
They sent the issue to the engineers.
