I can hear clean AND preamp guitar effects while recording

Hi all,
Just started to use LPX. I am using an Apogee Duet audio interface to record my guitar but notice that I seem to have two sounds overlapping when recording my electric guitar: the preamp effects version (distortion in this instance) and a clean version.
I've looked through my various books etc and can't seem to see how to avoid this so I can just hear the distortion I want while recording - can anyone help??

So you hear the signal both from the Apogee directly (clean) and what comes out of Logic (distorted).
So you must find out how to disable direct monitoring through the Apogee. Sorry, I don't know the Apogee in detail,

I would backup the device in iTunes. Then attempt a Restore, followed by setting the iPhone up as a new device. Make sure you rename your iPhone something different as to not overwrite the existing backup you made. Doing this will not bring any of your information back onto the device, but will give you the opportunity to test the device with a new operating system installed on it. If the problem persist after the restore (set up as a new device) then the problem lies in the hardware. If the problem does not persist, then you will need to avoid restoring the device from your backup, as the problem lies in a corrupted operating system. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Summary - ALM - UFT integration, how we can upload logs and screenshots at ALM while UFT execution.
1) ALM And UFT both are inetgrated successfully, all resource files(datatable,fucntion library,OR etc) are already saved in ALM. Test scripts are running and getting passed without any issue.
2) But our requirement is little more - we want to attach screnshots with test scripts with each run at while execution.
and second thing is logs , we want logs to be generated at run time and gets attached with every run
please find attach screenshots , it is to show attchment and logs for each run,
Will it require expertise in OTA(open test architecture).
please suggest any path forward or any clue which can lead to proper solution.

No ringing while connecting to a number on an iphone 5 ATT but they can hear me and I can not hear them.

I have an iphone 5 with ATT and sometimes (very randomly) when making a call, it does not make a ringing sound (like it is not connecting), but it has connected and the other person can hear me but I can't hear them at all. When I do try and say "hello" to see if they can hear me all I hear is my own voice echoing back. Other times the phone conncts and rings immediately and I know then that the call is working.
I actually got it to do this while on the phone on my landline with applecare. I did all of the resets with Apple and they determined it was a hardware problem and I received a new phone. It seemed to be ok, but three days after activating it, the same thing happened. There does not seem to be any common factor. It happens with landlines, cell phones, inside, outside and it does not always do it to the same number twice. It is a complete crap shoot. I have noticed that is it much more likely to happen if I go through "contacts" or "recents" to make the call. It has also happened a few times when using Siri to call. I never know until I don't hear the ringing sound that the call is messed up. This is awful when trying to contact a business and you have to keep calling them back. Anyone else?

Thank you for taking the time to reply! Yes. I did back up the first phone in itunes and updated the new phone with that information. During the diagnostics with apple on the first phone, I did completely wipe the phone clean and it still had the same problem --- again randomly. The technician today did want to do a complete factory reset on this phone but my question is if it is something that I am re-loading on the phone, how do we know what it is?! Also, if the other phone acted up without anything on it before I was hesistant to do it again. It is a lengthy process! I was to try and use the phone without the case (otterbox defender) and see if it would mess up --- which it did. So it's not the case. I am still wondering if it is an ATT/iphone issue. Can't hear other person, they can hear me - and memory issue with restoring backup

Hello,Hope you can help. My Xperia Z has a fault, I can't hear anyone when they are speaking on the phone. I can hear everything else, and when I put them on speaker it works all right. I checked on the forum here and someone else was advised to download and run a diagnostics app, and if that showed a fault, to run repair in Bridge for Mac. I did these and of course all my data was deleted from the phone. I now have two problems: 1. I still have no audio on incoming calls. Any suggestions for fixing this? 2. When I try and install the backup to my phone, it says the memory is too full. But the phone has been wiped clean - how can there not be enough memory? It's like it still thinks my phone is in its pre-"repair" state, with all my music on it and so on. Thank you, Segundus

Hi segundus! Sorry to hear you have a problem with bridge for mac. Can you please send me the error logs concerning the backup. Here’s how to get error logs from Sony Bridge for Mac:
1. In BfM, hold the "alt" key down while selecting the "Phone" menu. Select "Clear logs" to remove all old logs and get a clean start
2. Reproduce the problem you're having, whether it's connecting the phone, importing photos, doing backup...
3. In BfM, hold the "alt" key down while selecting the ”Xperia” menu. Select "Export logs"
4. On the computers desktop there should now be a file named "SonyBridgeForMacLogs_[date].zip

I am current in Sotheby's Africa and trying to FaceTime my daughter who also has the same ipad as me. My son in law also has the ipad. Despite using my daughters email, I cannot get through to her or my son in law. When I hit FaceTime I can hear the ringing tone, but after a while it comes up saying my daughter is not available, but she is sat by her ipad in the UK. I have checked everything is working so what can I do now to get through to her, especially for Xmas day.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

Why are you using two accounts? That is most likely creating the conflict. Try picking ONE ID, then try downloading a new app from the App Store on that ID and see if your other apps work.

Effects while recording

I want to hear the effects while I record. This is a simple in most audio programs and regular mixers but I can't figure it out in SoundTrack Pro. Help please.

Am I not doing something to be able to hear the effects as I am playing them live through SoundtrackPro?
Garage Band does do this and I cannot get STP to do it.
I have searched this post but so far nothing.

Playing radio effects while recording....

GB3 was promoted as being able to play and add sound effects to podcasts while recording. I'm looking to be able to cue up effects on the fly. How do you do this?

Make sure the 'record' button on the "Radio Sounds" track is enabled in addition to the audio track for voice.
If you have a midi keyboard connected, you can use the keyboard to trigger the radio sounds as you are recording. If you don't have a keyboard, open the onscreen keyboard (openapple-k) and click on the note you want to trigger when you want to trigger it.
