I can login but cannot read email from hotmail, messenger loading

I guess the problem is duo to messenger, it was loading and would not finish doing it

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I am receiving mail in my Cox account but not my gmail account.It was working fine until the power failure. It keeps telling me, the user name or password for Gmail is incorrect. I agree, unplug and replug your router, then reset your iPad by holding down the sleep and home buttons, ignore the red power down slider, and wait til you see the silver apple. let it reboot and then try your connection.
Chances are rebooting the router will help. You may also need to talk to cox. They may need to reset something on their end.

Cannot open emails from Hotmail

I am having trouble opening emails from Hotmail in the Mail tool. I have other email accounts that are working fine. It worked prior to yesterday. The various messages that I have seen are:
"Cannot get mail"
"Cannot connect to server"
Even old messages that I had previously viewed are not available. When I try to open them, I just get the "Loading . . ." message.
I am also seeing this same problem with the same account on my iPad.

This seems to fit. I use Outlook. I sent a test email and it went through fine. My Inbox seems to be working now, but other folders are not. Thanks for the quick reply!

E71 can receive, but cannot send email to POP mail...

I have an E71-1. I am in the UK and on '3'. Firmware version is 100.07.76 My problem is I cannot send email to my POP server. It goes to the Outbox then is reported as Queued. Trying to force a send does not have any effect. It would send emails until a few weeks ago.
I have re-set up the server information correctly in the 'phone. The server is sending and receiving emails correctly from Outlook. The E71 receives emails normally.
I have set up another POP account on a different domain on the 'phone and I have the same problem (but it uses the same server). Any help would be appreciated.

ManCity69 does not have my problem, therefore I appreciate his attempt to help but his solution will not work for me. It is frustrating that I cannot make it work as he has. I want to use my own SMTP server but I can't. I believe my solution is the definitive one because it should work for everyone.
For anyone who has my problem, my posted solution should work. And I have looked at the emails I am sending using other email clients, and they are not arriving from "[email protected]', the 'From' and 'Reply To' are my normal email address, perhaps it is getting these from the pop3 settings, I don't know.
And as we are blundering around in the dark here trying to solve our own problems instead of getting high quality technical support from 3, we will probably never know.

Can login but cannot enter itunes

After getting a new computer and having changed me apple id and password I am able to login however when I try to open itunes a message comes up on my computer that says "cannot use the application itunes because another user has it open, ask the other user to quit application then try again" I have tried everything I can thing of but cannot figure it out. Icloud does NOT sync your emails.

Can receive but not send email from my domain mail account. Also have two mailboxes with the same name. One has an exclamation mark at the end. I'm unable to delete this mailbox.

Automatically detect read emails from Hotmail

If I receive an email on my hotmail account and I read it on my computer, it isn't marked as 'read' on my iPhone. Instead, I have to go to my email application and open the email manually. This also happens the other way around: if I read an email from my hotmail account on my iPhone, I have to open it on my computer to mark it as 'read' there.
This is really annoying when you get like 10 Facebook emails or something in a short amount of time.
With Gmail this is not the case: if I read something on my iPhone, it's also read on my computer and vice versa.
Is there any way to fix this issue?

Well, part of the problem is I understand so little, I can't even probably answer your questions.
I set up Hotmail using Mail by clicking on Apple's provided "Hotmail" option, not "Microsoft Exchange." This is where the problem began, i.e., reading emails on my laptop or vice versa on my iPhone would not cause the other venue to show as "read."
Per this article, I sent up Hotmail as an Exchange account. http://www.macworld.com.au/print/16006 This seems to have rectified the problem.

Cant dowload all emails from Hotmail (no " load more messages" option)

Hi - I use i phone for both my gmail and hotmail emails. While using gmail, i get the option to "Load more messages" at the bottom of my screen and when i click that iphone downloads the next 25/50 emails from the server. For some reason, i dont have that option for my hotmail inbox. There is no load more message option so i cant retrieve my older emails no matter what i do.
Does someone else have had this issue. Appreciate your help

No. To be honest Im pretty sure its because hotmail simply dont support this feature. All my friends with hotmail accounts have the problem too. I have compromised by increasing the "mail days to sync" option to 1 month, and I find this syncs enough messages for me to not have a problem. But as for the original query, I think its simply something we have to live with!

Exchange account - can send but cannot receive emails

I am unable to receive work e-mails but I can sent them. When I try to sync my inbox it states that unable to connect to server. However, this cannot be since i am able to send through the same server? Any ideas?

Send and receive server parameters aren't the same (ports used, protocols,...) therefore you may want to check your incoming mail parameters are properly set.

EP 6 SP4 Portal Loading: Can Login but cannot go to other tabs

Installed EP 6.0 SP4 successfully. Able to login into the portal ( http://localhost:50000/irj/portal ) but it keeps saying Loading when I go to any tab like User administration or system adm.... CPU usage is only 2%
Please suggest what I am missing.
System: Pentium 4, 3.2 Ghz, 1Gb ram, NT 2000 Server. Server has only ep6, WAS, Developer Studio.

Cannot send email from Hotmail on iphone 5

This worked just fine up until 3 days ago. I have deleted and re installed. I have created under the microsoft Outlook account and also the other account. It keeps telling me that my pass word is not correct. I have updated and checked everything I can think of as given as fixes here, made sure that smtp is ok. Is there anything I can do? I receive it just fine. and I need to be able to send while I am on the road from my phone.
