I can no longer access my Lotus Notes office email (webmail). I can get my calendar, but not my mailbox. Both are on a secure https site. Maybe the problem is due to accepting a new version of Firefox? if so, how can I get back to a version that works.

I can use Explorer to get to to the webmail, but Firefox no longer works.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

I updated my iPad.  Before I could minimize a page and see upto 9pages on one screen now it has changed! Not happy! Help!

  • The green drop down bar for tracker blocking disappeared when Firefox updated today, how do I get it back?

This feature that helps to block ad and social network tracking appeared on the last update, it had a green drop down where I could then get a screen showing the number of tracking that are blocked, not blocked and could block the ones that weren't. Today when Firefox updated it disappeared. I do have the TrackerBlock addon installed, but I found the drop down helpful and would like to get it back.

  • Can no longer access my .mac website

I have been using iWeb 06 for that last 18 months to publish a website for our family. I have a current .mac/mobileme account that is set to renew on Jan. 18, and I suddenly can no longer access our website (my mobileme email is working fine). It's an http://web.mac.com/ address that now says "We're sorry, but this website can no longer be viewed. Either the person who claims to own it doesn't any longer, or they never did." This "we're sorry" page has the Apple logo on it, as well as the toolbar across the top. Does anyone know how I get my website back? I just spent all this time putting new pictures on it and "publishing" it, not realizing it no longer works. I have made no changes to my .mac account, and my website was working a few weeks ago. I did try going to http://me.com/myname like the mobileme FAQ page says to try, and my website isn't there either. This is the only reason I have a .mac account, so if I can't get my website back, I don't see any reason to renew on the 18th. Thanks for your help.

I've never heard of this but you should be on the phone or at least e-mailing Apple.http://www.apple.com/ca/support/contact/

  • Can no longer accessed Referenced Masters on Macintosh HD

How do I correct a problem with master files being reported as unavailable by Aperture 3.0.2.
I have always used referenced files (starting with Aperture 1.5) instead of a managed file system, with both the library and the referenced files located on my internal drive. But in late March when I went to work on an image I received the following message:
"The file 2010-03-14IMG2050.CR2 could not be found because the volume
on which it resides is currently offline.
    Volume: Macintosh HD"
I get the above message when I right-click on image and select "Show in Finder". In fact all images checked in my library have this problem now. But when I check Locate Reference Files, 0 Files are Not Found, and the Macintosh HD Volume is showing status of "Offline". If I try to reimport an image, it does not show up unless I uncheck "Do not import duplicates". The problem does not exist for reimported or import a new images into the library. It only impacts the thousands of previously imported images!
The problem seems to have started after I uploaded images to a MobileMe Gallery in late March and realized all of the other albums in my MobileMe Gallery were no longer showing up in Aperture 3. I reconnected the MobileMe Albums so they all now show up in Aperture. Perhaps this relates to why my Macintosh HD volume is now showing offline?
I restored the library usings various saved Vault images and get the same Offline result.
I've started Aperture 3.0.2 while pressing Command-Option and executed the Repaired Permissions and Repair Database options in the Aperture Library First Aid screen, without success. I have not tried the Rebuild option yet.
I even went so far as to restore my system using a Cloned image, and also using Time Machine to a pre Aperture 3.0.2 state, but the problem existed in each of these cases.
Would appreciate suggestions on how to proceed?
    Thanks,
    Tom

I had tried that originally, but there were/are no images in the library that do not have a linked referenced file.
But to test the concept, I renamed one of the directory for one project with about 350 images. Then I went to locate reference files and found the image in the new location and clicked reconnect all. That seemed to fix it for the one image. So to test, I exited out of Aperture, and it took quite awhile for Aperture's "Updating information for sharing previews" to complete.
On restarting Aperture, the one image in the project can now be adjusted, and found when right-click Show in Finder, and the Macintosh HD volume is now Online for that image. But for the other images in the project (and all others checked in the Library) the volume remains in Offline status and error message remains for those images.
I selected all 341 images in the project, and checked Locate Reference Files. This time All Volumes shows 341 Files 0 not found. 1 file Online (Macintosh HD) and 340 files Offline (Macintosh HD). I reconnected all, the ended up with all 341 files online. Note, unchecking the box for Show only files not found helps since otherwise they don't show up.
On restart of Aperture again, this one project is still fixed, but all other projects still showing offline. So I guess I'll have to rename a higher directory, or a main directory under Pictures to change a larger number at one time... I'll be treading softly...
Now the real question, is what caused the problem and how to avoid it again in the future. Aperture 3 has been a real bear to upgrade to...
I'll repost when I have completed this effort for all 23,802 images. Maybe it's time for me to create multiple Libraries with smaller sets of images...

  • Since loading Firefox I can no longer access video replays on Windows Media Player. I get a message saying the material has downloaded but that it can't be played for reasons that are not correct

I have been playing the video replays from Lone Star Park for years with no problem. I loaded Mozilla Firefox and now I can no longer access the replays. I get a message that data downloaded,Windows Media Player opens, but when I try to download, I get a message saying the video cannot be played. This is very important and I am thinking of removing Mozilla!

    Hi there
I had the same problem and I found this answer to a similar question to ours, so I copied and pasted it for you
Reset the device by holding down the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time for approximately 10 seconds.  After it resets the message will be gone and you can go to settings > icloud and put in your password.
That seems to be a bug with the password alert where it won't respond correctly sometimes.
    Hope this helps

  • I had to create a new profile in Firefox and now, I can't access important data such as bookmarks which I desperately need.

After two days of not being able to open Firefox, I found an article on this website which suggested that I create a new profile. I followed the instructions (which never stated that I should first backup Firefox or my old profile) After creating the new profile, Firefox is once again working fine but, I am unable to access important data such as bookmarks and history.
I have followed several suggestion on this website but, I am still unable to find my old profile content.

As long as you did not uninstall Firefox and remove personal data, your old profile still should be in the same location. Depending on how messed up it was, here are two options:
'''(1) Use the profile manager to start Firefox up in your old profile and create a fresh bookmarks backup.''' If it didn't run, this won't be useful.
To start in a different profile, Exit out of Firefox and start it up from the Start menu, search box, using
    firefox.exe -P
Your old profile may have a name like default.
Then you can create a fresh backup or export of your bookmarks (or both) to a neutral location (e.g., the Documents folder). These articles have the steps for creating these files:
    * [[Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer]]
    * [[Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file to back up or transfer bookmarks]] (note: does not preserve tags you have assigned to bookmarks, if any)
Exit Firefox, use the profile manager to return to your new profile, then you can either restore the bookmark backup or import the HTML file. The difference is that a restore completely replaces whatever exists now, while an import adds to what you have now.
    * [[Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer]]
    * [[Import Bookmarks from an HTML file]]
    Success?
'''(2) Restore an old bookmark backup.''' Firefox creates these files regularly, but it might not be perfectly complete.
To access the old files, I suggest starting from your current (new) profile folder. You can open that from within Firefox using either:
    * "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
    * (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
    * type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button. This should launch a new window showing your ''current'' settings files. Using the address bar of that window, click up to the Profiles folder level and then double-click into your old profile folder, then into its bookmarkbackups folder. Copy the latest backup file to a neutral location (such as your Documents folder).
Back in Firefox, try to restore the older backup. Note: this will completely replace your bookmarks in this profile, so if you have saved new bookmarks you want to save, please perform the optional steps in the following list:
    * Optional (preserve new bookmarks): [[Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file to back up or transfer bookmarks]]
    * [[Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer]] - use Choose File to go to your Documents folder to get the old backup
    * Optional (add new bookmarks to the restored set): [[Import Bookmarks from an HTML file]]
    Success?

  • I can no longer access Yahoo from desktop icon; attempt to report this to Firefox fails. Help.

I have always been able to access Yahoo from my desktop icon. In the last few days, this has not worked 90% of the time (once in a while I can get through). I need to access it through my Verizon account. Why is this suddenly happening - for years I have been able to use the Yahoo icon.
And when I tried to send a help message to Firefox it refused to go through - the green line would go over and over and never finish.

What do you mean when you say you "can no longer access these sites?" Does that mean you can't connect to those sites in your web browser, or that they aren't showing up in iWeb?
If the latter, note that your iWeb data is all entirely stored in a hidden file. In the Finder, choose Go -> Go To Folder and paste the following path into the window that opens:
    ~/Library/Application Support/iWeb
In that folder, you will find a single file, called Domain. That's got all the data for all your iWeb sites. If that file is missing, or if it has become corrupt, you will need to restore it from an earlier backup.
As for replacing iWeb, either Sandvox or RapidWeaver should work. Which works best will depend on your own tastes. Note that neither is capable of fully importing iWeb sites, as those sites will have a lot of content that is copyrighted by Apple. For more information about transitioning to one of these products, see:

  • I can no longer access my online banking account in firefox

I can no longer access my online bank account in firefox, although I can in IE. I can get through the login ID and security question, but when I type in my password and click on login, it consistently tells me I have the wrong password. I have no trouble logging in with IE. I have deleted my history completely, deleted the sqlite files from my profile, and done everything else I can find in the support area with no results. I have been able to access this website for years in firefox, and all of a sudden today I cannot. I called the bank and they even reset my password and tested firefox on their end and said they have no problems with it. I have not installed any new addons. I disabled firefox preloader. Any suggestions?

I see you are using LastPass. Could that add-on be interfering with your login?? You could try disabling it temporarily under Tools > Add-ons to test that theory.

  • Ever since I installed Safari 5.1 I can no longer access the pdf files on my website. I keep on getting an error with Webkit2webprocess.exe telling me that LogTransport2.dill was not found. Please help..

Ever since I installed Safari 5.1 on my PC (XP) I can no longer access the pdf files on my website. I have no problems with Chrome and  Firefox. I keep on getting a message from WebKit2WebProcess.exe that the LogTransport2.dill was not found. (I HATE PCs...) I tried reinstalling Acrobat 9. I tried reinstalling Safari. I even tried an older version of Safari. Nothing Helped.  Others have tried it on their machine, and it worked fine. But I do not know what is the matter with mine. I suspect the root cause is the missing LogTransport2.dill file. But I do not know how to go about getting it.  Your help is truly appreciated. My website is http://www.hlmartworks.com.

I have also found the article that provides 3 solutions but none of the solutions worked.

David.  Thank you very much.   The problem was not with the canvas but rather the Viewer.  But the solution was the same.  Somehow, the Viewer window was re-set to Alpha.  I changed it back to RGB.... and the picture is back.   These issues are often very simple.... but they can drive you bats if you don't know the answer.   Very grateful.  Tim
