I can no longer add a scanned document to a pages document since the recent pages upsoftware update . Any ideas on how to resolve this ?

Try running these songs through MP3 Validator to see if there any issues.
If nothing else, convert them to another format such as AAC via iTunes using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Can anyone help me keep wifi off on my S5? Since the last update my wifi keeps turning on without input from me. I have unlimited data and don't use the wifi much to extend the battery but this is killing it now.

Help is here to resolve this issue with your wifi connection 88DaveS. Lets try disabling your "Smart Network Switch". Select Settings> Wifi. The 'smart network switch' is in the advanced settings. Locate the Menu icon in the upper right hand corner > Tap Menu > Tap Advanced > Locate and ensure the check box is Unchecked next to Smart network switch. Let us know if this helps.

PCmanFM can't copy or cut & paste some files since the recent update

I noticed this problem since the recent update of PCmanFM.
When I try to copy/paste, or cut/paste somes files, I got the following error:

I can no longer attach pdf scans to my emails. It has all changed. How do I do it now please.

I have always attached pdf scans to my emails veyr easily. Now having been away for five weeks things have changed and I can no longer do it. Please help me to find a new way to do this. I have scanned a document and can open it but cannot attach it what is wrong?.

what is your email client?
what is your Adobe Reader version?
what means "can not" (or "no longer");
how do you try attaching the file?
what happens when you try?
also, how large is your scanned document?

Since the recent update I can no longer use my camera connection kit on any of my iPad's. Any ideas to remedy this?

Since the recent update, my Text Messages no longer permit me to send messages to more than two people at a time. How do I resolve this issue?

Since the most recent update, my IPhone 5c no longer permits me to send text messages to more that two people at a time. How can I resolve this to send text messages to more than two people in a group message.

It would appear that I can send an SMS to multiple contacts, providing that it's not a forwarded message. This means that I have to start from scratcheach time, and then I can send it to over 30 recipients at a time. Not sure why though, and I'm not sure why the sign doesn't appear all of the time as an option for me to press. At other times, it is particially obscured by the curser/text box. This is obviously a glitch in the system, as it happens inconsistently.

Mail no longer functions properly since the recent update to 10.4.9

Mail will launch but I get the spinning beach ball of death while waiting for Mail to fetch mail......and it spins & spins & spins.......etc. To the point where I have to force Mail to quit.
I then have to go to my ISP domain to fetch my own mail.
Is anyone else having this problem and, if so, what can be done to fix it??

PS - I did 'repair permissions' prior to the update and after the update was installed too.

The thread you found doesn’t really discuss the same problem, as in that case Mail was crashing (i.e. quitting unexpectedly), rather than becoming unresponsive. What I usually suggest to start troubleshooting cases like yours is the following -- the network settings in particular is something you may not have looked at, and note that I recommend to verify/repair the disk itself (i.e. the filesystem) rather than permissions.
Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network, choose Network Port Configurations from the Show popup menu, and make sure that the configuration used to connect to Internet appears at the top of the list.
Finally, try launching Mail under the following conditions (you may need to force quit it first if it’s running) and post back with your observations:
1. Holding the Shift key down until the main window appears. This tells Mail to not select any mailboxes or load any messages upon start up.
2. With no Internet connection.

I can't log into anything using firefox, including Mozilla every since the recent update!!!

I have to use another browser. I have removed cookies, etc and it doesn't help. I can't log into yahoo, my bank, disney, or even mozilla. Please fix this!!!

Since the most recent update of Firefox, when I click on Bookmarks to save a site there is no button to press to do it. Just a list od my existing bookmarks shows up.

I had the the same problem albeit with an m4v (same hardware and OS rev too!, iTunes 10.6.3). I was able to add the movie to a new library per Limnos' suggestion here, indicating that iTunes wasn't totally busted. However, I was also able to see the movie in the Recently Added smart playlist (another hat tip to Limnos), although it still did not appear in the Movies section of my iTunes library. (It was also in the iTunes Library.xml file.)
So I called AppleCare, and they directed me to move the file from the external drive where it was living, into the /Users/<Your Name Here>/Movies directory, and to "Add to Library" (Command-O) from that location. Sure enough (and much to my surprise), it showed up immediately (duplicated, actually) in the Movies section of my iTunes library. Subsequent additions to my Library have not misbehaved similiarly.

All of a sudden, I can no longer add any plugins to any channel strips? And when I click on an existing plugin to edit, it disappears off the channel strip?

I am running Logic express 9 on a 2008 Macbook, (non pro). Anyhow, logic has always seemed to work great for me. However, last week I opened up one of many existing projects, (I'm in sample editor). When I went to add a new plugin to one of the channel strips it would not allow me to. Also, if I click on any plugin that already exists on the channel strip it dissapears? The strange thing that also happens weather I click to add a new plugin or click on an already existing plugin, is both the "repeat section" and "crop", buttons from the above menu (in sample editor), the actual buttons become a faded image,(as far as the actual font and images of the buttons). As soon as I am done clicking to add a plugin on the channel strip, both buttons from the menu go back to looking normal like all of the other choices from that menu? I really don't get it? All I want to do is to be able to add plugins as well as edit or change plugins again. Any thoughts as to why I can no longer add any new plugins to any channel strips? And why any existing plugins disappear from the channel strip when I click on it? Why the "repeat section", and "Crop", buttons from the menu above fade in and out when I try clicking on the channel strip is very strange? I don't mind that I just want to be able to add or edit plugins again. I did do some document cleaning up last week as my memory was getting low. I then emptied out my trash bin. I'm hoping I didn't accidentally delete some kind of Logic component? Why can't I add or edit plugins anymore? Anyone ever run across this?

Are any of your other applications going wonky, or is it just Logic?
I'm afraid I've never heard of this particular problem before, but if it were happening to me the first thing I would do is delete my "com.apple.logic.express.plist" file in Library>Preferences, then repair permissions in Disc Utility, and finally restart my computer. Then I would launch Logic and see if the problem has been corrected. It's amazing how much these two steps can accomplish.
If that doesn't resolve the issue I would launch Logic and go to Preferences>Audio Units Manager to see if all my plug-ins are properly validated.

It makes a notification sound, but there is no message, and it just doesn't do anything.
How frustrating. Considering apple make excellent products, iTunes is terrible.

I find a way to add music.
Make sure iTunes is closed.
Go to the song file on your computer. If the file has the little black musical iTunes symbol as its icon, just double click the file. It should open up in iTunes and stay in you library.
If the little black musical iTunes symbol isn't next to the file, right click the file and go to "Open With" and then click on "iTunes". It should open up in iTunes and stay in your library.
Yeaaa its the long way but that's the only way for now, unfortunately.
