I can no longer click and drag Safari window to the other desktop.

I've tried merging all windows and minimizing that single window, then going to the other desktop to open up the window. That doesn't work--it just opens on the original desktop.
When double-clicking on the Safari icon in the dock, the options for desktop appear (none, this desktop, and all desktops). By clicking on all desktops I am able to go to the other desktop and see my Safari window there, then I can change the option to none again.
This is not how it worked before. I'm supposed to be able to click and drag the window to the other desktop.
Any ideas?
Update:
I pulled one Safari tab out to create a separate window, opened Mission Control, then clicked on the Safari window and dragged it to the small image of the other desktop.
The window stayed in the other desktop and now the function of dragging Safari windows to other desktops has returned.

In the Project Panel a left click highlights the asset but ignores the drag.
In the timeline, a left click highlights the panel and when I try to drag it gives a flicker but that's all.
I can cut and paste in the timeline.
A restart of CS5 has no effect. Restarting the computer solves the problem for a while.
Four different mouses--same problem.

OK--Think I finally discovered the issue. I'm using a trackball and keyboard setup from Euphonix that communicates with the Mac via Ethernet and TCP/IP. Aperture cannot deal with mouse strokes transmitted this way. If I switch to a USB mouse connected directly to the Mac, the brushes work normally. Still a disappointment since the Euphonix is my default keyboard/mouse and I don't really want to keep a separate USB mouse hooked up.....

My horizontal scrollbar doesn't work. I can't even click and drag it.

My horizontal scroll bar doesn't work anymore. If there is information on right of the screen I can't get at it using the scroll bar. I can't even click and drag it and clicking on the space between does nothing. The vertical scroll bar works fine but the horizontal scroll bar only works by using my mouse wheel tilt right. The horizontal scroll bar works in IE but not firefox.

My Type Tool does not select type by double clicking or click and drag. (Windows CS 5 V15.1). This is what I have tried so far and the problem still exists.
Check preferences for "Text": "Select text-object by path only" should be off. Checked. It was off. Didn't fix it.
Check the toggle for Show/Hide Edges in the View menu. Cmd(Ctrl)-H. Checked. Edges Showing. Didn't fix it.
Trashed my Prefeerences. Didn't fix it.
Any other suggestions out there?

I figured it out! I feel pretty silly, but I will share this in hopes of helping the next person :/ Here goes. Don;t laugh to hard!
It was the leading! The space between the two lines of text was less than half of the point size of the actual text. So it looked like two lines but there was actually 3.
Geeze, I'm embarrassed! Thank you for suggesting that I may not need to recreate the entire document, but start with the text, input manually again (even on a new layer, to match the original), which lead to a fix!

Yesterday I was clicking and dragging items on my desktop, but today I can't. I can select them but I can't move them. How do I fix this?

OK it looks like force quiting the finder and relaunching it will fix this.

Can't right click and drag clips anymore?

I recently started using version 3 and I can't get the right click and drag to work in multitrack view. I can't remember if it ever worked in this version, but it seems like these two things coincided. Am I missing something? Or could this be a different problem? I've checked and double checked, none of the clips are locked in time. All I wanna do is move files around!

Out of the four possible cursors in MV, you need to use the first one (the Hybrid tool) if you want to right-click and drag.

I am trying to move photos from my laptop to my iphone. I have tried clicking and dragging individual photos from my picture library to the iphone but l receive a message saying my iphone is not responding.
I have tried syncing via itunes but when l want to sync a further folder it replaces the one which as already been synced?

There has never been a function to copy anything from an iPhone and paste it to a computer.
All of your media should be in iTunes already.
If it is not and was purchased from iTunes, right click on the device and select Transfer Purchases.
If the media is not in iTunes and was not purchased from iTunes, how did you get it on the device in the first place?

Why can't I click and drag clone brush??

I'm working with a trial version of Aperture and trying to clone out a couple of annoying background details. When I use the clone tool, I cannot click and drag or "paint" with it. I only get a circular clone that is the diameter of the brush. I don't want to clone out the problem areas with a bunch of little circles! I want a smooth, painted cloned area. Is this possible with Aperture or do I need to go back to Photoshop....

Can't Stop Clicking and Dragging

My trackpad on my MBP will not stop clicking and dragging, even when I'm not clicking. Whenever I move, it thinks I'm clicking and dragging.

I guess it did not work. It started again. If the update is responsible, I think that that update should be ignored. I don't think it is benefitting anyone at all unless you buy the new magic trackpad which is what we already have. I am going to reinstall and ignore the update for the trackpad. That is, unless apple make an update that corrects this problem. This isn't like apple to make a bad update. I wonder.

Well, this is an unexpected problem.
Just this morning, it seems my computer is refusing to let me click and drag with the trackpad button. I can click and hold, but when I move my cursor, say in a menu, nothing is highlighted. For sliders for volume, clicking and dragging does nothing. I can't highlight text. It's getting very annoying. It won't work when I tell just the trackpad to click and drag as well (not using the button).
My hands have been a little "waxy" since I've been sick, but the mouse works perfectly otherwise, so I don't think that's the problem at all. Any suggestions? Please tell me my 'book isn't goin' bad. >>;;

That seemed to work! After shutting down and taking out the battery, I cleaned my keyboard and computer, too. Seems to work now Thanks!

Why can't I click and open my Skydrive from the favorites bar in finder?

I am able to do this for Google Drive and also Copy, so I should be able to do the same for Skydrive.
So how come I cannot click on Skydrive in the favorites bar in finder? I can click on everything else but when I try to click skydrive it is as if I clicked on the window outside of finder where it would be inactive. I want to be able to open my skydrive from finder (in favorites) so how can I fix this?

If I understand correctly you want the title to appear on top of a later video clip so both title and clip are visible. The problem is the "whites" background which is both making the background opaque and stopping you from pasting it above another clip. If you just select and drag the title by itself, the background will be transparent so the video clip below will show through. You should also be able to copy and paste it directly above the clip you want.
If you want different parts of the title to have a special effect you will have to edit each instance after you have made and positioned the copies.

I can't double click to collapse firefox window into the dock

I'm running OS X with the newest Firefox (the Yahoo Edition.) Suddenly, double clicking in the top of the window no longer collapses it into the dock. I've tried repairing permissions and dumping the Firefox prefs to no avail. I just did a Firefox security update a few days ago and I'm wondering if that has anything to do the problem.

I have this problem too (Mac Firefox 21) but only when using a custom theme. When using the default Firefox appearance, I can still double-click to minimize Firefox to the dock. I wonder if all the other people who've complained of this problem were also using a custom theme?

How do I reorder songs in a playlist in iTunes 12? I can't just click and drag.

I am working on a playlist in iTunes 12, I need the songs to be burned to a CD in a specific order.
I cannot figure out how to manually re-order my songs in this playlist.
I know how to order the songs by artist, album, genre etc but I need to be able to do it manually however I want the songs to play.
Any ideas?

Use View > View Options, and set 'Sort By" to "Manual Order."
Then you will be able to drag-n-drop songs up and down the list.
