I can no longer download anything on my Imac 5.1 after i clicked keys help!
I accidentally clicked some keys on my IMAC 5.1 computer and it stopped downloading but it was working fine until then. Can someone help me ?
You're using an Intel Core 2 Duo iMac. What OS version are you running? OS 10.x.x?
Were you downloading something from iTunes, the Apps store, a file from the web using Safari, firefox, Chrome?

Steve Jobs obviously was "the man" because every update or install now gives me problems... i can no longer download anything to my iphone.. giving me errors of "cannot install at this time" and i get an error installing itunes on my other laptop... wth is going on!??!
ok so the download problem with my iphone.. what could be the cause of that? ive restarted and deleted the "undownloaded app" over 10 times already. and restarted the iphone 10 times... next thing i know i cant install itunes on my laptop.... geez man..
obviously there is a fix which someone will help... but why should i have to go through all that crap to install a so called uncomplicated software... when you think about it this really shouldnt even be an issue.
normally if the thing dosent work. normally with most programs you just uninstall the uncompleted software and just reinstall and everything is usually good to go.. help!ive never had any problems with ap[ple products in the past... this is a first and a stupid problem if you ask me

For some reason, I can no longer download anything on itunes on my computer.
When I try, I get the following error as a sample...

Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again.
I do have a network connection, and can get logged into the itunes store. I have spent the past 45 minutes on the phone with Apple who had me check all of my permissions, and I have uninstalled/reinstalled itunes, but still the same thing.

For me when I try to download an app I press the button and then the graphics for the button get all jumbled. I can see it's there but the edges and letters are all mixed up and wierd looking. It turns green like the download button, and when I push that it turns blue and then just sits there doing nothing. I know this isn't a problem with updating my software because anyone who knows anything about earlier models knows that they stopped updating the iOS for them a long long time ago. This is definitely a problem on Apples end where they've made some kind of changes to the app store that break it on earlier iPods (I saw another post from a 2nd gen user who is having the same problem). I hope Apple fixes this soon.

I can no longer download anything from the new style app store on 1st gen iPod touch
Whenever I click to install an app from app store the button disappears. If I click again in the general area that the button should be, I get a green empty button, if I cclick that, it turns blue but still nothing happens. On the old style app store it used to either begin unstallion or tell me that the app wasn't compatible with my device. Now I get NOTHING. Please can someone help?!

I can no longer download anything through firefox & I cannot seem to fix it its OK in chrome
I am receiving attachments through my emails and they will not download also I try and download movies or music and still the downloads will not work.
It was all fine up until about 2 weeks ago.
Do not recall anything happening that would have resulted in this.

I then finally went to the the Add-ons Manager once again and put a''' 'never activate'''' on the ''''Open H264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc.' that I had activated on the 22/3/15 - this immediately fixed the problem and I was able to download files again.
Thanks to 'UnicornPoopinc' for your response and to anyone else who was giving this thought but it is now solved and perhaps this will help someone else if they happen to have the same problem. -

Thanks for the response. Yes, everything is working fine. I am an engineer and a techie so have checked all I could. Just need to know whether overnight downloads as I describe are possible for other people, and what setting etc possibly could affect it?

I can no longer download apps that I buy. They are on my computer, they will no longer sync onto my phone. Yes, I DO know how to do it. They no longer will go onto my phone.
Did some searches, but did not come up with anything regarding your specific issue (the original one, the grey 'waiting' problem is quite common). If no other ofrum users chime in, it is indeed time to contact Apple / iTunes Store support.
If you have not yet one so, Try to Reset your device. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off that shows up first).
You could also try to re-download one or two apps, just to see if anything changes. Log in to the iTunes Store, go to the Purchases section and download from the list of past purchases or free apps.

I can no longer sync anything to any of my apple products
I can no longer sync or download any content to my apple products through iTunes. The only way I am able to download music or apps to my iPod, iPhone, or iPad is by downloading from the iPod, iPhone, and iPad itself. Some songs I brought through my iPod haven't show up in my iTunes library. Majority of my library wont work on my iPod, but it works in my library. I can no longer download new playlist I came up with through my iTunes library. My frustration has gotten to a point where I am completely done with Apple products in general. I literally listen to music 24/7 and the fact that I can't listen to half my library or I have to carry around my MacBook to listen to my music is absolutely ridiculous. Come out with an update to fix this serious problem or someone tell me a sensible way to fix my problem. I have tried everything, but I need new ideas that I'm sure I haven't thought of!
What exactly happens when you try to sync?
Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -

If you are using iTunes Match, your songs are long gone.
iTunes Match is now a streaming service, with no regards to letting you download individual files.

Sounds like the device is in recovery mode. You will need to restore the phone. See this support document for instructions. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

My iPod Touch can no longer download Podcast Videos after upgrading to iOS4
After upgrading OS 3.1.3 to iOS4, My iPod Touch (2nd Generation) can no longer download such video podcasts as NBC News, CBS News, ABC News and Cranky Geeks from iTunes store. The moment the download starts, there is always an annoying prompt "this video cannot be played on this iPod".
It's really frustrating!!!Same thing happening to mine also, still cant find a reason.

Could someone please advise on my current problem? Apparantly I can no longer download tones to my phone or account to be used as such since the tones are being downloaded as songs that cannot be transferred or placed in the tones area for the phone or in iTunes. Prior to the last update, this was always an option. I have also noticed that the Ringtones and Alert Tones are not showing up in my recent purchases as well to allow for me to place them back on my phone and there for require for them to be purchased again... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I've discovered that all tones purchased will be downloaded as ringtones, BUT they can be utilized as tones and assigned as alert tones on the iPhone...
