I can no longer download in Safari. The Download tab does not show up in toolbar any longer. Can anyone help?

I like to download old music videos from the 50's. Recently the Download tap in Safari does not show up anymore. It's as if I did something that may have deleted it. I can't find away to get it back. For now I've switched to my Google App which works just fine. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Start downloading the music video.
The Download button should appear when you start downloading anything from the web.
If the download list is empty, download button will not be shown by default.

I connect my macbook pro to an Epson wireless projector. The macbook can see the projector wirelessly and the image on the macbook is displayed on the projector. However on system ref., the arrangement tab does not show and thus cannot have multiple view.
I am trying to project Pro Presenter on the Epson projector such that I have the detail screen on the macbook and only the screen I want people to see on the projector display. This has not been possible because the arrangement tab on the Display section of the System Preference is not showing. If i tried to search for the arangement, it comes back with the message that there is not other source detected, hence the arrangement tab is not showing.
I have also tried to connect the Epson directly to the Macbook but it still the same result, so its not because it is a wireless connection. Can someone advise me jhow to go around this problem. I have used windows before and it is very easy to extend ptojection on windows, but this system seems to be frustrating to me.

The solution in my case was to start iPhoto and let it update the library, even thu itunes was set up to sync with Aperture.

GX660 SSD Caching problem - the accelerate tab does not show

Ok so im trying to install a crucial m4 64 gb (FW 0009) into my gx660 and enable it as a ssd cache via the intel RST program. So far with no luck.I've ran into a wall and my problem is that the accelerate tab in intel rst is not showing.
Here is what i did. Hopefully in the right order.
1. I installed and updated the intel RST drivers and software.
2. I installed the ssd in the empty drive slot in the case.
2. I flashed my BIOS to the gx660r one to enable the RAID option.(before this i also found out that 1 of my 2 ramsticks where bad and i took it out)
3. I enabled RAID only to discover windows would BSOD on boot and i disabled it again (sat it back to AHCI)
4. I used these registry hacks to get RAID mode to work.
Enable switching between all IDE/AHCI/RAID modes by changing "Start" Values in these keys to 0
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Msahci\Start
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Pciide\Start
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\iaStorV\Start
5. I re-enabled RAID mode and booted into windows perfectly
6. Then intel RST bugged on me and i reinstalled it several times. (it showed my disk as having 0 gb's of space and was only able to show their serial number)
7. I got intel RST working but it still wont show the Acellerate tab :(
At this point i got stuck when the accelerate tab still wasnt showing and now i tried making a clean install of windows (in RAID mode) on a newly created partition. Here i have the same problem.
I have also tried switching the drives places in the case but still no luck.
I have gotten to the point where im about to give up on this. Do any of you have any idea of what i've done wrong? if so please reply.

... Note to self: Do proper research. Turns out youre probably right. According to http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-z68-express-smart-response-technology-ssd-caching,2938-3.html it is also possible on HM67 and QM67 chipsets but thats not what i have. Thought that SSD caching support was a nobrainer on laptops but turns out its not.

My Time Capsule's 5GHz network does not appear as a network any longer. Airport utility is 5.5.3 and iMAC is 10.7.1 The TC appears to be configured correctly in the utility screen.

Apple is not here. Even if they might rarely monitor these boards, they will not respond. We're all users, just like you.
Suggest that you open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utiltiies > AirPort Utility
Click Manual Setup
Click the Wireless tab below the icons
Click the Wireless Options button
Check one more time to see if you still have the 5 GHz Name option enabled. If not, enter a check mark and click Update to save the new settings.
If 5 GHz is enabled, temporarily disable the setting and Update. Then go back in and enable the setting again.
If you still cannot "see" the network from any device, about all that you can do at this point is reset the Time Capsule back to factory defaults and try the configuration again to see if it will "take". Lion is causing some strange issues, and this may be another.
If this is not successful, then it's time to contact Apple support or arrange a visit to an Apple store to let them take a look

when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

My Option window in Firefox displays only partly. I can't change the download folder. 'Browse' is not showing. And the Advanced tab is not showing either

If you are using an add-on theme switch to the default theme. If that isn't the source of your problem ....

Tones is the new name for Ringtones. If the entry is missing in the left-hand column of iTunes then enable it from Edit > Preferences > General tab.
If your existing tones are not syncing properly to your iOS device then uncheck the option to Sync Tones from the Tones tab when the device is connected, sync the device, check the option and sync again.

To check your model go to About This Mac (by clicking on the Apple icon, top left) and then select more info. If you wish to use mirroring you will need one from 2011 or later running OSX 10.8 or later. The alternative would be to use 3rd party software like Airparrot.

The good thing about mac-centric resellers such as OWC, is they have people on staff that can answer questions without you buying things first. They also have how-to information, and instructions are included in many of their products. I saw a link to watch a DIY video in one of their pages; an example of a RAID (with its own power supply) is shown on their drives page. Also a few in there, with no power supplies, for less money.

Some ideas on the RAID backup methods appear in google search, some of the pages are ideas and concepts; and the better ones also warn about using RAID for the only backup plan.
Oh, OWC has live chat. Haven't tried it, nor have I bought anything from them. I have what appears to be two products from them, but have not used either. One is in a box as-new, but has only USB2.0 ports & my Macs needed FW400/800. It has been said their RAM is a good way to upgrade, too. But I can't confirm!
A 'RAID-ready' unit for backup may be more versatile for just that, but I have not checked into these details. I use single HDDs in powered enclosures, and usually manually make backup clones to FW drives, of bootable OS X systems. Some of the OWC raid-ready use eSATA ports so that may not be viable for a computer without them.
The unused in-box external drive I have is like the base model in the link above. However mine is USB2.0 (maybe) and won't boot my older Macs due to hardware variance; and my preference would be for FireWire options, these models do offer that. But the one I have does not. Dual 500GB HDDs, and they could be used in tandem as a RAID. That would be a choice set up in software. I'm not sure and not interested enough to read up just now.
My backup method is not automatic, or a moving backup plan, if I don't get a move-on and make full system clones. I do make copies of photos and documents the manual way, to USB external drives; and occasionally backup to DVD or CD media. And USB flash, that helps to move files between computers without need to use file sharing via wi-fi. {Like Why fly? Walking is better exercise unless one is a bird. Squawk!}

Depending on the ports in your Mac, you may be able to use other cables to attach between a backup or externally enclosed hard disk drive with multiple partition and bootable clone in one of them. Not sure about the Thunderbolt, and where that is the main port, adapters are required to access other devices, as allowed.
Anyway, I am going on and on, yet not really saying anything.
My ideas would not be all that interesting to follow as a backup
plan when matching available newer hardware to task, but you
can get some into better ideas if you are not in a rush. Get a
good setup and then look into more an betterer stuff.
