I can no longer get to the ITunes Store after upgrade.

I have tried the Command Prompt Run as Administer and I received this under the Command Prompt. C:\Windows\system32> I do not know what to do next. I did try another suggestion to resolve the issue, but I receive noticification "requires elevation". If you can help please let me know. Thank You!

My itunes displayed a message at the top that it was connecting to the iTunes Store. After closing my laptop and opening it again after a few hours, there was a message stating that my computer was unable to connect to iTunes because of a problem with my internet connection. My laptop is connecting fine with the internet, yet not through the iTunes program, or at least it seems that way. TS1398 Why can I still connect to the internet, but I can no longer connect to the iTunes store?

My family recently gave me an iPad for Mother's Day. It's been really awesome, but suddenly today I began getting an error: "Cannot connect to iTunes Store."
The process looks great right up to the download. Then, after the icon appears with the status bar, just before you would expect the status bar to start filling out...BAM, error!
I can connect to the internet just fine. I am able to sync via WiFi without trouble. I'm pretty sure I have tried all the troubleshooting on-and-offs. I even did a restore.
Am I missing something? Why would it work fine one minute and get all quirky the next?
Help me Obi-wan Kenobi; you're my only hope.

Could be you are not connecting to the internet via wifi.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Why can I not get to the iTunes store or sync my iPod Touch?

I am not able to sync my iPod or go to the iTunes store at all. I have turned off my firewall and my anti-virus and still can't do either. So it is obviously a problem with iTunes does anyone have any ideas for me to try? I am just frustrated that this won't work because its the program I use the most.

Looks like there's a general problem across the US and UK at Apple's end. I've not been able to connect since this morning and there are loads of threads on here about the same issue.

I just updated to iTunes 8 and am trying to download the iPhone update. Whenever I try to get the download, I keep getting an error saying that a connection could not be made and I should check my internet connection. Is there a problem with the iTunes store or is there a network setting in iTunes I should check?

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. I removed and then added the bonjour service from the list of allowed programs but it still won't connect.

All of a sudden, when I open my itunes program I can no longer connect to the itunes store.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

My internet connection stops after attempting to connect to the iTunes store after upgrading to Mountain Lion.

I have been unable to stay connected to my server since I have upgraded to Mountain Lion. I went to my local Apple Store and was able to download the latest software. I could not do that at home as the download would freeze. I brought my mac-pro notebook home and the same problem persists. While trying to match my music, iTunes fails to stay connected to the internet, the circle going round and round forever. Anyone else with the same or similar problem?

Same here (iPhone 5S). And a friend of mine has the same problem on his iPhone 5. I just installed the newest iOS update (7.1.2) and the problem persists. Although it seems to affect several people yet I can't find anything related to this on the web. If I really want deliberately to trigger the problem I just need to delete a song from the music app and the message will pop up for sure. I am also somewhat reluctant to do a full restore because frankly I expect the same outcome as the thread starter. So hopefully Apple will fix this soon. The main reason for me to buy a $ 800+ phone is to have a device that 'just works' but apparently that's long gone since iOS 7...

Turn off all your firewalls, software accelerators, security software like Norton/McAfee/Zone Alarm/NOD/Kapersky/etc, even the Windows firewall.
An iTunes upgrade is actually an uninstall of itunes & quicktime, then a reinstall of the new versions.
Those items I mentioned all see iTunes as a new program and you have to set security to allow iTunes again. So if you temporarily turn them off and can connect to the sotre, you will know that's it.

I just don't understand why I still can't download new videos as I've deleted the software I installed and I've changed my camera settings back to what they were before when I could download into iPhoto. iPhoto is not a download and view program - it is a photo management database program that imports photos - Image Capture is a download program - Preview is a view program
The default program to download your photos is set in the preference panel of either iPhoto or image capture

In iTunes when I click on the button to take me to iTunes store a message comes up saying 'The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK store' and now I can't get into the iTunes store at all

I can't get into the itunes store through my itunes because the homepage has the add for updating to itunes 10. I tried to do it, but then realized I don't have the software for it, I need Mac OS 10.5 or higher and I have 10.4.
