I can no longer hear all the music I have purchased on my phone.

After a restore I had to do because my phone froze up, I am no longer able to hear all the music I purchased in the past.  When I select the music button from my screen, I select the songs button at the bottom of the screen and see everyone of them.  At the bottom of the list it gives me a number, which is accurate.  But when I select to listen to the song, the album cover pops up, but the song skips all together.  Eventually it will find a song and plays this song.  I would like to say its a recent song, but that's not the case.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Are you saying you are not trying to play the music on your iPhone? If not please describe the problem in more detail. But this does not change the fact that you've posted to the wrong forum. This forum is for iTunes Match trouble shooting, which your original post does not appear to be related to. You will get much more effective support help by posting to the correct forum.

I am unable to hear the songs I purchased on my iPhone 5. The songs skip. I have already had my speaker replaced. Now most of my purchased music will not play.

Might have luck with that here >  Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Previous purchases may be unavailable if they have been refunded or are no longer on the iTunes Store.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchases.

I just clean installed maverick on my computer and I have nothing in my iTunes library, how can I get back all the music I have bought?

From your backups. By doing a clean install you erased your startup volume. You may have installed OS X, but your personal software was erased. You can restore from backups if your have them. If not, then you've lost it all, permanently.

In itunes on my Ipad3 and looking in the purchased area, why can't I see all of the movies I have purchased. Only a few appear????

Not all film studios have so far agreed to make their films available for re-download, so their films won't show - also if a film is no longer available in the store then it won't appear

  • HT1349 how do I get all the music I have purchased on one computer

All my music has been purchased with the same credit card and I just want to get all my music on one computer.  How do I do that?

You move the files over manually or download them through iCloud if applicable.

  • HT1420 Is it possible to mearge 2 itune accounts yet? We would like to get all the music we have purchased into our new account.

Is it possible to merge 2 itune accounts yet? We have an old pre-iphone account and a new me.com account. We have purchased music on both and would lie to put it all on one account.

No, it's not currently possible to merge accounts nor to transfer content from one account to another account - they will remain tied to the account that originally downloaded it.  As long as both are authorised on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to use content from both.

  • I want to set up a separate itunes account from my kids but share all the music I have bought - how can I do this?

I am trying to set up a different itunes account from my kids so I don't have to share contacts, calendar, etc. but I still want to maintain access to all the music I have purchased.  Is this possible?

Family Sharing - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT201060 - "Family Sharing makes it easy for up to six people in your family to share each other’s iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases without sharing accounts. Pay for family purchases with the same credit card and approve kids’ spending right from a parent’s device. And share photos, a family calendar, and more to help keep everyone connected."
Sharing purchased content with Family Sharing - http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201085 - "With Family Sharing, family members get immediate access to each others’ music, movies, TV shows, books, and apps, and can download them to their own devices any time they like.*" "* Not all content and content types are available in all countries. All family members must use the same iTunes Store country or region. Music, movies, TV shows, and books can be downloaded on up to 10 devices per account, five of which can be computers. Apps can be downloaded to any devices the family member owns or controls.

  • TS4124 Hi, do you know how can I upload inelegible songs from itunes to Icloud. They are songs added from original CDs. Another question would be how can I transfer all the music I have in my Ipod Classic to my Itunes or ICloud as I want to back it up.

Depends on why it's ineligible.  If it's under 96 Kpbs, try right-clicking on the file and choosing Create AAC Version.  (If you don't see this option, go to iTunes>Preferences, click "Import Settings..." then choose "Import Using: AAC Encoder" and "Setting: iTunes Plus".)  Then rescan your library to see if this version will add to iTunes Match.  Or, after changing your import setting, just re-import the song to your iTunes library.
If the song is over 200 MB you would have to reduce it's size to make it eligible.

You should be storing your music on a computer that you sync your iPad mini to. You can then sync your iPod to the same computer to copy over the music to the iPod.

  • I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes Version 11.4.1 and still cannot access. I continue to get the Error 7 Windows Error 193 and now I am getting the Apple Mobile Device failed to start. I can't access any of my music I HAVE PURCHASED. What  to do?

I am getting the same error message - error 7, Windows error 193 running iTunes on a PC Laptop (HP) which has been running iTunes previously for at least 2 years.
I followed the Apple support page and uninstalled (in order) all Apple programmes specified, rebooted, then re-installed.  Two additional errors crop up in re-installation, the first one is to do with Apple Mobile Support Device Services.  It seems that this might be rectified by plugging in said devices before finishing the re-install.  The second reads iTunesHelper was not installed correctly please re-install iTunes.  This persists. I cannot uninstall iTunesHelper using the Control Panel, but I can delete it using Windows.  However, after re-installing again, it still won't run and the original error comes back.  I've downloaded and uninstalled 15 times now and this is taking far too long to be acceptable.

Expanding on what The Fiend said, the license to play music from a CD is tied to and stays with the CD. So if you sell or give away the CDs, the license to play the music goes with them, at which point you legally no longer have the right to the tracks. You need to keep the CDs if you want to keep the music.
As for transferring the tracks from your iPhone back to your computer so you don't have to re-import all your CDs, check out this post from Zevoneer for some iPod/iPhone media recovery options:

iTunes is quite friendly, and very powerful....   You probably just need to set up automatic syncing in iTunes.
If the iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.  The iPod appears in the sidebar, under DEVICES.  Select the iPod there.
To the right, the iPod's Summary screen is shown.  Toward the top, there is a bar of buttons, starting with Summary.  Click on Music next to Summary.  This Music screen is where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box for Sync Music.  This setting enables automatic syncing for music.  If your iTunes music library is small enough to fit on the iPod's storage, you can choose to sync Entire music library.  Otherwise, you can choose to sync Select playlists, artists, albums, and genres.  From the lists below, select (checkmark) what you want to sync to the iPod.
Here's one convenient way to set this up.  In your iTunes library, create one or more playlists.  Add the ALL the songs you want on the iPod to those playlists.  OR, you can use existing playlists.  Back on the iPod's Music screen, select those playlists under Playlists.  (You can select other items on those lists, if desired.)
When you click Apply, the songs in your selection sync to the iPod.  Going forward, to update your iPod (add/remove songs), just update those playlists in your iTunes library.  The iPod does not need to be connected.  The next time you connect the iPod (or click Sync if already connected), iTunes automatically updates the iPod with the same changes.
NOTE:  On the bar of buttons that starts with Summary, click on the other buttons (such as Movies, Podcasts, Audiobooks, etc.) to set up syncing for those iTunes media categories.
