I Can No Longer Jump From Tune To Tune Using The Arrows.

I have had iTunes 6.0.1 for a while.
I have just been playing a tune from my library and decided to jump to the next one using the double-arrow.
Jumping forward or backward could not be done.
The only way I could move was by double-clicking the song I wanted.
I closed iTunes several times and deleted the preferences but still could not get the jump function back.
Any ideas?

I use MacJanitor every Monday.
However, I used it again - no change.
I repaired Disk Permissions - ditto.
I always switch off the computer every night and sometimes totally disconnect it for a few minutes.
Incidentally the arrows are still there, nice and black, but they just don't work.
It's no big deal as I am not constantly using iTunes - it's just that I don't like mysteries!
I suppose the easiest sure cure is just to reinstall it.

After update to Snow Leopard, I can no longer print from my Mac Book using my HP D110 but can still print from the web

Earlier this week, I updated my Mac Book to Snow Leopard and am now having printing problems. I have an HP Photosmart D110. I have downloaded and installed the driver update. I have deleted and re-installed the printer. I have run the wireless network test (everything passed). I configured th settings on the HP EPrint website. I have shut down and re-started the computer several times. I checked for software updates.
The printer is *recognized* on the Mac Book, iPhone and the iPad. It shows up under the SysPref menu. I have been able to print coupons from the Coupons.com app using the iPhone and iPad, but I can't print from the computer itself. The printer icon opens and it indicates the document was sent but nothing comes out. I'm not sure what I'm missing?!

I have an older camcorder that has a firewire interface. My new iMac does not have any firewire ports. Can I import video from the camcorder using a Thunderbolt to Firewire Adapter or is the Thunderbold adapter only used for hard drives and displays?

Rather than an adapter, I would suggest you purchase a 4 pin to 9 pin Firewire 800 cable to run from the camera to the Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter. Those FW 400 to 800 adapters frequently do not work so well for importing video in my experience.
The Firewire cables are pretty inexpensive if you get them online. For example try Monoprice.

I have OS 10.9.2 and have downloaded latest version of Reader 11. I can no longer fill in form or scroll using the side bar.

How do I get it to work? I am thinking of going back to an earlier version.

Well, I have tried filling up the same IRS Form 1040 on my Mac machine with Reader 11.0.07 installed and faced no such issue. I even downloaded the PDF to my machine and I was still able to fill-up the form.
How are downloading the PDF file? Hope you are using the Save as option from with in Reader plugin and not the Safari Saved as option. The detailed instructions for doing so are as follows:

I started with BitPim, and have hit a bit of a deadend with the application not being able to detect the phone - I can manually set the port location to the phone (and it shows up as an LG device), but then get a "false" and no connection. So I suspect that's something on the phone end blocking access from a computer via USB... I'll dig around on that a bit.
Thanks, also, for the suggestion to buy a BlueTooth adapter - that's my next step in this... although after reading the link/review about Verizon's attitude toward open file transfer, I may be severing my ties with them. I've been happy with the phone service, but this is really annoying.
This is what happens when you assume that Mac people exist in the rest of the corporate sphere..! To think that I would assume that a phone/camera with a USB cable would actually be capable of connecting to a computer and transferring files!

After upgrading to OS 10.8.1 I can no longer scan from my Canon MP240 printer when it is connected to Airport Express.

I can no longer scan from printer (Canon Pixma MP240) when it is connected to Airport Express, although printing is no affected. However, when connected directly to MBP scanning works fine. I have tried all the standard remedies; reinstalling drivers, resetting printer system, selecting sharing options, but no luck. Previous to Mountain Lion this function worked fine. Any ideas how to regain this capability?

I'm almost completely certain that the scanning feature worked before the update. Having said that though, I don't scan a great deal and it may be the case that when I have done, the printer was directly connected to the MBP. However, since I have a laptop it's far more logical that I would have had the printer connected to Airport Express for reasons of portability so I can't really see that I would have had the printer connected directly to the laptop. Besides this, I have no memory of having this problem previously. Therefore, I don't think my memory is to blame although of course, if it were I'd have no way of knowing!

I can no longer print from my ipad to my hp b210 printer. I am attached to the network and can send print jobs to the printer successfully. I have tried rebooting all three devices , IPAD, Printer and router with no luck. When I send a print job to the printer it simply sends and disappears. nothing prints

I am glad that you are using an Hp ePrint printer, B210a.
I would suggest you to check the print center on your iPad and cancel jobs in the print center and then try.
You can follow the step bleow in order to cancel jobs on the iPad.
Click on the home key 2times.
It will bring up the apps you visited and it should also show print center.
Click on the print center and cancel the first job or all the jobs.
Then try printing from the iPad.
