I can no longer play embedded videos on the BBC and Sky websites, how can I get them to play?.

When I try and run the embedded videos I getthe message that they cannot play and to try later. The error message was:

I am using FF 7.0.1 on Windows 7 sp1 and the Flash version is 11.0.1.152. I have checked Firewall settings and they are ok.

Try clearing the Cache in Firefox.
Tools-> Clear Recent History -> [v] Cache
or
Tools->Options->Advanced->Network -> Offline storage -> [Clear Now]
Youtube may have made some changes recently. Clear the Youtube cookie and refresh page if above does not do it.

Because GPS has nothing to do with WiFi, cellular signals, or data of any sort. GPS is implemented by signals sent by satellites that are received by GPS receivers. I lost all of my photos and videos after download of iOS 5? how do I get them back?

So I updated to OS 5 last night an low and behold I lost all of my photos and videos? how do I get them back, I did do my download on my mac book pro. I would have thought that all of that stuff would have transferred automatic during the download of 5, but I guess that would make too much sense? So how do I get that stuff back?

I did the same thing last night also with my MacBook Pro. None of my music, video or photos not taken originally on my iphone were reloaded back onto my phone. I received an error message instead. I had to just re-drag the music and videos that I wanted back to my iphone. As far as my photos taken on my iphone...by chance, I had just backed those up earlier that day. I'm not sure where the photos are that I had put on my iphone in the beginning...they still show up in people's contacts, but they no longer show up under photos - ? This is very frustrating!

iTunes was just updated on my Windows 7 and now I lost EVERYTHING in my music library. All of my music that I added and purchased, all my videos (TV shows) and all of my podcasts (some of them are older podcasts that I was saving to listen to for later and I can't ever get them back because I don't subscribe to them now). How do I get all my files back? I'm so upset! I had a similar issue a earlier this year with an iTunes update. I wish I can keep everything the way it is without ever having to update the program. I either lose ALL my files or the program doesn't work right.

My ipod all ready had songs on from somewhere (i can not get them back) but i syced my ipod to a different computer and all the songs were deleted ! how do i get them back ? its urgent !

i have an ipod touch.
i had 300 odd songs on. i do not have the songs on my laptop. i wanted to add the songs without getting rid of the currnet ones.
without knowing , i just synced my ipod as usuall and my old songs were deleted. is there anyway in the world i could get those songs back ?!

The iPod is not a storage device, all songs should reside on a computer and you can only sync to one machine. However, if these songs were purchased from iTunes you can reload them (see link). If not, and you have no backup, then they are gone.

Check iTunes / Preferences - Devices on your computer. If you created a backup, you'll see it in the list there.
If not, according to Apple, from the iTunes Help menu...
"It’s important to make backups of your purchases from the iTunes Store. If you lose a purchased item for any reason and haven’t backed it up, you’ll have to buy it again."
So, in the future, follow the instructions here for backing up your iTunes purchases.

You can potentially redownload previous iTunes purchases (apps, music etc) on your computer's iTunes by clicking on your id towards the top right of the iTunes screen and then clicking Purchases on the popup (I'm assuming that you have the current version of iTunes on your computer). But for apps unless you have an iOS device to install it on then I don't see what redownloading it will achieve, what you will be redownloading is just the game, it does not include any purchase history within it.
If you want to view your purchase history (e.g. order numbers, receipt numbers) then you can view that via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes. Is that what 'technical support' want, so that they can try and link your iPhone progress of the game to your Android purchase of the game ?

Log into icloud.com with a computer's browser and check the contacts page. If they are gone, then they're gone. If still there, then you need to be sure your device is logged into icloud using the right ID.
If they are gone, you can try performing a restore from a backup of your device. While there has been debate as to whether a backup to icloud includes contacts (since they are supposed to be on icloud anyhow), so the backup may not contain the contacts - especially a recent backup (this depends on how long the contacts were deleted).
If contacts are still on the computer, then you can try syncing them to icloud (this would only be the case if the computer was not connected to icloud, since otherwise it would have synced by now and lost the contacts).

that used to happen to me all the time! I would recommend going to a different sight or attempting to download it again ( you may have missed a step it can be tricky).
