* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

I can not publish photos to FB because the publish button is not activated. What should I do?

I have never had problems publishing my photos to FB but since yesterday I have not been able to do that because the publish button is not activated any more. Does anybody know what the problem is, how did that happen and what I should do to activated again? Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Same issue man. Apparently a lot of people are reporting this. The same issue is happening with Ipads.

How do you post photos from iPhoto to Facebook if when you click on the F icon the "publish" button is not active?

When I want to share a photo from iPhoto and post to Facebook, the publish button is grayed out.
Already checked privacy settings on FB and nothing should be blocking this.

I did have spotify premium on my phone, it then stopped working so I deleted it but can no longer re download it from app store, the 'open' symbol is not available only a cloud with a down arrow coming from it?

Can anyone suggest how I might reinstall the spotify app onto my iphone again?

The 'open' button only show after you've installed it on your phone, the cloud symbol imdicates that the app is only in the cloud - if you tap on the cloud icon it should download onto your phone.

I can no longer burn cd's in itunes, get the msg 'disc recording not found'.

I have followed advice from other users and tried the following:

>updated to latest version.

Could you post your diagnostics for us please, Jono?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

I can no longer sync my photos since ios6. Any advise?

Since upgrading to iOS6 on my iPhone 4S I can no longer sync my photos in iPhoto via iTunes.
The sync photos is checked but only the sync all option is available and the sync fails at the photo step with an unknown error.
All apps and OS's are current and otherwise functioning properly. Any thoughts?

I'm seeing the same problem. The sync from iTunes stops when starting to sync photos and the "Unknown Error 1140" message appears. I tried several times, then decided to uncheck the Photos Sync in iTunes. The sync then proceeded without problems (without the photos of course).
My feeling is that I don't really need to sync the photos as I'm using Photo Stream and save all photos (taken with the iPhone) to the Camera Roll. The Camera Roll photos are then saved to iPhoto on my MacBook Pro via Photo Stream. I tend not to have other albums on my iPhone (other than a few test albums) - just use the Camera Roll basically.
I'm using an iPhone 4S with iOS 6 and the latest iPhoto 9.4 - also the latest Mountain Lion 10.8.2.

I do not see a way to disable the Picture Frame icon. I looked at Settings-Picture Frame, but none of the options turns it off. The only way I can thinik of, would be if all of your photos had been deleted. If there were no photos, you couldn't have a slide show!
One thing to try is to reset (reboot) your iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.

when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

The reviews usually only show the comments of people who do not like the changed features.

It started this a couple of weeks ago and I had a friend come fix it just 2 days ago. It took him several hours and I lost all tags I had on over 10,000 pictures. Now it has done it again. HT1784 In iTunes my Apple tv (1st Generation) only shows Summary and photos so I can no longer load a movie and sync to the Apple tv. Anybody else experienced options now missing ?

I used my Apple tv (1st generation) to load films on iTunes and then sync to my Aplle tv. In iTunes I now can only see Summary and Photos and therefore lost the ability to load a film and then sync to the Apple tv. Anybody else experienced this with ? Cannot find any options to resolve this.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your library has become a secondary (streaming only) library only (it is possible to turn syncing off by ctrl-clicking on the Apple TV listing in the device list and choosing 'Turn Off Syncing" from the contextual menu) and you need to reconnect your library as a primary library.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted.

I bought a Sandisk Connect Media Drive, downloaded the app from iTunes. Before iOS 8, movies played fine. After iOS upgrade I can no longer play movies downloaded from iTunes to the media drive. Anyone else have a similar issue?

I checked with SanDisk's own online support and they indicate that they have notified Apple of the issue.
According to SanDisk, the problem lies with Apple not having the iOS 8 version of the Safari browser having DRM decoding enabled that the Media Drive relies upon to decode and play iTunes DRM titles. Non DRM encoded videos will play in the browser.
DRM audio is not effected as this is handled by the native iOS music app.
As of the date of this post SanDisk have not been given a timeframe by Apple for this issue to be resolved.
I hope that Apple resolves this issue quickly as I have a large collection of DRM video titles on a 128Mb memory card installed in the Media Drive that I am unable to view.
