I can no longer read the text of my emails after I open them

All of a sudden I can no longer read the text of my incoming mail, however if I click to reply I can read text then

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings; will not erase any data, just resets network connections such as wifi, and cellular data; Hope this helps.

If the messages are stored on the device and you can power the device up you can use the application posted at https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/770529 , the application has a screen capture option and you can use the screen as a guide to install MyBackup from Market or a number of backup apps from Market and then you can run the applications and backup data to your SD Card to restore to the replacement device.

Which theme are you using?
When I am adding text in a slideshow, I found, that it will depend on the theme, if the text will be centered or flushed left. The Classic and Ken Burns theme are centering the text, the newer themes will present it flushed left.
I found no way to select a custom justification for the text.

I am using CC adobe Acrobat to combine multiple pdfs and add page numbers. Mac users can no longer read the page numbers but pc users can.

As of about 2 weeks ago the mac users can no longer read the page numbers they get a font error message and see only -- where the page information should be. The pc users do not have this same problem. When I replace our regular font (URW Grotesk) with a system font (Verdana) everyone is able to read the page numbers. This is a new issues, I have been creating these documents in the same way for years without a problem. I have been on hold and on and off calls for the last two hours, I keep getting hung up on once I find someone in adobe support to talk to!

Using Firefox 8.0 on a MacBook Pro I can no longer enlarge the text on web pages by sliding apart two fingers. Why?

I just downloaded Firefox 8.0.1. I have a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.5.8. In the past, I could easily enlarge text on a web page by sliding two fingers apart, or likewise, make the text smaller by pinching the fingers together. I can no longer do this with the latest version of Firefox. If I run Safari instead, I can still use this feature of the Mac. Is there a setting I need to change? Or is it a glitch in the new version of Firefox?

Some gestures have been removed in Firefox 4+ versions.
You can restore the zoom feature by changing the values of the related prefs on the about:config page.
* browser.gesture.pinch.in -> cmd_fullZoomReduce
* browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset
* browser.gesture.pinch.out -> cmd_fullZoomEnlarge
* browser.gesture.pinch.out.shift -> cmd_fullZoomReset
* browser.gesture.pinch.latched -> false
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold (user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default via the right-click context menu if they are user set
*Preferences can be changed via the right-click context menu: Modify (String or Integer) or Toggle (Boolean)

I can't read the text on my toolbar after changing personas, and unchecking "use text color" doesn't do anything even if I change personas.

Several personas come with unreadable text and accent color. This article explains how to resolve the issue:

However, when I followed the directions, the text colors did not stay the same as I switched personas.

If you have installed a persona then the default text color and background color of the toolbars are defined by that persona. 
The colors of the currently selected persona are stored as the first entry in the pref lightweightThemes.usedThemes as textcolor and accentcolor.
You can edit that pref and set another value for the "textcolor":"#ffffff" part (e.g. "textcolor":"#000000").

Why can't I read the text on some web pages?

I'm using my laptop with a Vista OS and Firefox. Some of the text that appears on web pages seems to be rendered incorrectly on my screen. I'm hoping someone can tell me how this happens.

I have the same problem which is one reason I still use IE8 (which has its own problems). I change my font to be bigger, and I use my toolbar on the side. Firefox apparently doesn't like this and squooshes the page together.
I could do all sorts of research to figure out what is wrong, reconfigure Firefox, use the fonts it wants, install, zoom, uninstall fonts, and perhaps find apps to change the way it looks. I probably could set up my computer to satisfy the needs of Firefox.
Nah. I like my computer to work for me! So, I have to go to IE a lot. I use FF for some things. IE for others.

Can no longer read the base station configuration

I am seting up a Airport Extreme N. I was able to read the configuration file twice with no problem. Now AirPort Utility "sees" the base station and tells me the Name, IP, Version, and AirPort ID but when I select the continue button AirPort Unitlity just sits and spins.
1) I am using the latest AirPort Utility (2007-1)
2) I have tried the 1 second reset
3) I have tried the 6 second reset
4) I have tried the reset while powering up
I see a few other threads like this but no conclusive answers.

Found the problem (well a work-around).
If the base station restarts while my LaCie USB 1TB drive is plugged in and turned on then AirPort Utility hangs reading the configuration. If I wait until the base station is up and running to plug the USB drive in all is fine. Also AirPort Utility will crash while hung reading the configuration and I unplug the USB drive.
To be sure I tested 3 times. Totally repeatable. Total time...4.5 hours

Documents are not "PowerPC" or "Intel" or even "AMD"
Depending on what file format the documents are, you may find various programs that can open and edit them. But, without knowing what kind of documents they are, I'd have to guess if any of the iWork suite could open them. Pages can open Word .doc and .docx files. Numbers can open Excel .xls and .xlsx files. Keynote can open Powerpoint .ppt .pptx files. I don't know if they can open Appleworks documents, but I think I've seen positive remarks about that.

My sister can no longer read my text messages

Recently switched to Note 4 from Note 3. My sister has a Samsung Galaxy. We have always texted. All of a sudden she gets a notification that I sent her a text but nothing is ever there. I get and make all my other texts with no issues. I have VERIZON and she has ATandT. Any suggestions? She is getting textsfrom everyone else.

We want you to be able to communicate with your sister via text again. Let's investigate into this further. When you first switched to the Note 4 has you sister always had issues receiving your text or was she able to receive and view them when you first activated the Note 4? Does she have issues with others messages? Ann154 asked a great question. What text application are you both using to send/receive text?

Can my parents read the content of my messages after deletion from my phone?

Hello everyone,
First off, I'd like to thank you kindly for actually checking into this forum, it means a lot. Secondly, I have looked up a lot of information on this question, and I've been getting A LOT of mixed messages. It is to my understanding, that even though my parents are the bill payer for my phone, they do not have any right to request forms which reveal the actual CONTENT of my text messages. They CAN however, see the time, date, and how many text messages. That is just to my understanding. If someone could answer this question, please do.

I would just not text if you think they are going to ask verizon for what's inside them.
P.S She should be glad that she gets a free phone at all, I was age not that long ago and mean it, not in some old guy kind of way and I had to pay for my cell phone. Kids think that they Should a free NEW 20000+ car for free when they are 16 and all this crap. I am not saying I did not want any thing like that, but if I did not get it, I did not act like they hated me and crap.

Can no longer read "Comments" on New York Times website

I updated Flash Player on Monday to the latest version, but today (Tuesday) find I can no longer read the "comments" attached to various articles on the NYT website. Neither of our other home machines (an early iPad and a win7 laptop) have this problem, nor were they updated. I contacted NYT, and they said they can't duplicate the problem, nor are others reporting the problem.
My system is Windows 8 64bit, (not 8.1 and not touch-enabled). Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks.

The thing is... The NYT comments DON'T require or use Flash Player. They use Java, which is a separate plugin and has nothing to do with Flash.
How do I know? I disabled Flash and went to their pages:
There are the comments with NO Flash Player activated.
Try updating Java.
And BTW, you can't update Flash Player on an iPad, because there never was a Flash Player for iOS.
