Music I purchased on I Tunes is not available when I open ITunes in I Movie. I Movie says those files are "protected" and not accessible. What does that mean and can I change them to "unprotected" so I can use them in IMovie?

Most of the music that I purchased on I Tunes I bought and downloaded on my old I Mac which I replaced with this I Mac about 9 months ago. When I"m using I Movie on this I Mac and try to open I Tunes tab in I Movie, most of the files are not accessible because I Movie says those fields are protected. If that is your intent, finding a substitute program that will run on your Mac may not be as efficient. Others can advise you on alternatives, or you can post a new thread specifically with that question.

That is the orientation lock symbol, you can not go to landscape orientation. Tap the home button twice, swipe the task bar to the right, tap on the 'circle' icon at the left to unlock the orientation. You will then be able to view items in portrait and landscape mode.

And You've not moved or emptied any folder on Your Hard Disk named
• iMovie Event's - or -
• iMovie Project's
Or - disconnected any external hard disk/s
As one CAN NOT move the Event's or Project's on / via DeskTop/Finder - AS iMovie then loses the connection to them. Moving them - MUST BE DONE - within iMovie application - to work OK.
So if You by meaning or accident moved it/them - Move them back - and iMovie might work again.
ELSE - If You are 100% sure that You didn't move them then
• Trash iMovie Pref and Cache files
• Run Repair Permissions - Disk Util tool
• Run Repair Hard Disk - Disk Util tool - BUT YOU MUST Start-Up Your Mac from DVD or External HD to do this
and may be all will work OK again

You get that message any time you download an executable file. It is safe to open as long as you download from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

if other internet services such as youtube also don't work then it mean that your appletv don't have connection to the Internet
it could also mean that apples server er busy or receiving service and will be up again later

If the Wi-Fi diagnostics are okay then check your own Wi-Fi router to find out how many clients are connected. The number of clients may not matter but how much data Hogging is going on. If you have multiple computer Services accounts active Wi-Fi cannot handle that much. Examples would be two people playing World of Warcraft, Two people watching a Netflix movie or AppleTV movie, One person Downloading iTunes movies or music at the same time. That accounts for a lot of Wi-Fi usage.

Check online with the web site of the maker of your video card for an updated driver (assuming you're running Windows).
