I can no longer share my songs as e-mail attachments. What happened?

I can no longer share my songs as e-mail attachments. The only sharing options I have are for Facebook, YouTube, Soundcloud, iTunes, and as Ringtone. What happened? I'm using the Garageband App 1.4(180.6) This happened once before, and by the time I'd gotten done submitting my question, the problem was fixed.

I powered my iPad off, and started it back up. Works fine now. huh.

We have burned several single songs that we have purchased from Amazon. As of the last months, we cannot get them to the windows burn a cd window. I try to download them, but I just get caught in a circle. I noticed that everything is mp3 now, but those used to burn to a cd. Has there been a major change with doing that?

This is an OS issue with windows and/or software you are using for your MP3's & not related to your Internet Browser, regardless of which one you are using (IE, FireFox, Chrome etc..)

Of course iTunes is looking for the music on the external HDD. Enabling iTunes Match does not magically change the location of the iTunes library to the cloud.
To play the music either plug the external HDD back into your computer or create a new, empty library to use for streaming the iTM content. The latter can be accomplished by holding down the Option key when launching iTunes, choosing "create library" then enabling iTunes Match on the new library. DO NOT have iTunes scan your HDD for music.

I can no longer share photos to Photo Stream on my iMac (iPhoto)

It seems I can no longer share photos to Photo Stream on my iMac. It works just fine from my iPhone - I can see the photos appear in Photo Stream in iPhoto on my iMac, but no dice the other way around.
Any suggestions?

Log out of iCloud in the System/iCloud preference pane and disable Photo Stream in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane. Then log back in and re-enable, respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

Connect your phone to computer, and sync like this. Check the boxes for the playlists, artists, albums you want to sync. Then click Apply. If you have enough space on your phone, you can choose Entire music library.

Can no longer share Contacts through Entourage (OS 10.10)

After upgradiing an iMac to Yosemite, I've found that I can no longer share a Contacts vCard through Entourage. Hitting the share icon at the bottom of the entry allows me to send via e-mail, Message, AirDrop, etc., but the e-mail function no longer works. A mouse-click will open Entourage and place the cursor in the address pane of a new message window, but no vCard attaches to the e-mail. Never had this problem before. Sound familiar to anyone?

I think it's incorrect to make a blanket statement that it "will not work anymore."
Actually, Entourage worked fine with Mountain Lion and it has survived the transition to Yosemite pretty well. Every feature of the program works as intended, and Yosemite recognizes it as the default e-mail client. The problem is that Yosemite is inconsistent in how well it works with Entourage. I can mail URLs and Calendar events with one click, as before, but the "share" function misbehaves in Finder, iPhoto and Contacts. I'd prefer not to spend more money on Microsoft bloatware than I absolutely have to, which is why I'm looking for any obscure configuration setting I may have missed.

I was able to transfer my library books by downloading and then transferring them to my kobo through ADE. Now when I open my ADE my Kobo doesn't show up but the kobo is connected to my computer and I can see it in my control panel.

After installing the latest update to itunes, and my ipod, I can no longer sync my computer and my ipod nomatter what I do. I have tried everything I know and can read. I am beginning to think it has something to do with the password that I changed, but I tried to change it back and nothing happens. Does anybody have any suggestions. I have been working on this for three hours and I can't figure it out? Apple is no help and it was their updates that messed the whole thing up.

Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos".
Click Apply.

If you delete purchases, they are no longer stored in iCloud.

Can no longer share my Mac to my windows PC

With 10.4, sharing my Mac to my windows PC was really easy. Now that I've installed 10.5, my PC can no longer see my mac's shared folders.
When I try to map network drive to \\192.168.1.4\shared_folder (for example), my PC just gives me an error that the "network path could not be found."

For some reason, the systems preferences will not let me set a workgroup for my mac. I type in the workgroup name for the mac, and click save, and then when I go back to look at it again, it doesn't appear to have saved the workgroup name I typed in. So, if the workgroup name is the problem, I can't appear to fix it. why isn't it saving this information?
What the heck am I doing wrong?

To set up file sharing:
Choose Apple > System Preferences, and then click Sharing.
Select the File Sharing checkbox.
Users you have set up with accounts in Accounts preferences can access your computer by connecting to it over the network.
To refine user access to your computer and set up specific folders or volumes to share, click Add {+} at the bottom of the Folders list and select the folder you want to share.
To further refine user access, click Add {+} at the bottom of the Users list and select a user from Users & Groups (accounts you have set up in Accounts preferences), Network Users or your Address Book. Or click New Person and enter a name and password to create a sharing account. Select the user from the list and click Select.
After the user is in the list, use the triangles next to the user name to assign privileges for that use user (No Access, Read & Write, Read Only, or Write Only (Drop Box)).
Click Options and select the way you want to share your computer: using AFP, FTP, or SMB.
If Windows users will connect to your computer to share files, make sure SMB is selected, select the On checkbox next to the name of the account that will share your computer, and enter the password for that user.

I can't family share a song I purchased today

I bought several songs today. I tried to family share these songs with my wife. Only one of the songs showed up in my recent purchases list. Does anyone know why this happened? Can some songs not be shared?

Soo. I fixed it. All I did was move the files to another place, and then moved them back. Then I just opened it, and it appeared in the library again.
