Help! I can no longer sync my iphone 4 to my MAC
I have an iphone 4 and a MAC OX S 10.6.8.. I am able to sync the MAC to the iphone, however, I can no longer sync the iphone to the MAC... so anything like contacts, calendar events, etc. does not transfer to the MAC if is entered on the iphone.. Has anyone else had this problem ?

I have a Mac desktop snow leopard version 10.6.8, and an iphone 4. I can no longer sync my iphone calendar with ical on my Mac. I does sync from ical to the iphone however Help.

You can't use iCloud with 10.6.8, you need 10.7.2 or better. -
Since I upgraded to iTunes 10.7, I can no longer sync my iPhones nor my iPad.
For all devices, iTunes says "could not back up ... because a session could not be started".
I'm on w7x64, updated.
I have already tried to re-install, reboot, stop/restart Apple mobile devices service, without success.

Since installing itunes 11, we can no longer sync to our Outlook 2007 and 2010 calendars (there may be other Outlook files included in this syncing problem). Using the iCloud is not an option as it does not support Vista OS. We are trying to reinstall iTunes 10.7, however; that is not going particularly well, either. Does anyone have a proven solution for this mess?
FYI: It seems it was a network problem with my WinXP PC. After complete deletion and new installation of XP and iTunes my iPhone will be recognized correctly, Wifi synchronization works (mostly) fine.

I just moved my Mobile Me account to an iCloud account and can no longer sync between iCloud and this older iMac. I can post changes to my iCal on my other Mac's running OS Lion, but when I do so they don't appear on this computer in iCal. I can't upgrade this iMac to an OS greater than 10.5
Yes,that is the sad case, the only option other than a new Mac is to view iCal via Web on the older Mac & manually add changes to your old iCal.

Tell me how to download a newer version of itunes on my old mac so i can it will sync to my iphone please.

I have the latest iOS and the latest version of iTunes for Windows. When I plug in my iPhone 4S, my computer "knows" it is there--the phone starts charging, the computer says "Hey, do you want me to do these default actions, none of which are iTunes," and if I open my iPhone in Explorer I can still see all my photos as usual.
But iTunes itself refuses to acknowledge that there is a device connected. Is there any way to fix this? Can I downgrade to the previous version of iTunes so my iPhone will sync again?Did you set up iCloud on your Mac and turn on syncing for contacts and calendars (see http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html) and do the same for your phone (see http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ios.html)?

I can no longer sync my iPhone after updating to Lion and iTunes 10.4
My iPhone does not show up in the iTunes sidebar anymore. I'm running iOS 4.3.2. The iPhone does show on the display that it is charging up however.
Syncing used to work perfectly in Snow Leopard with the previous version of iTunes.
When i connect my iPhone to my other mac, (running Snow Leopard Server with an older version of iTunes) it is detected without any problems, so there must be something wrong with my Lion + iTunes 10.4 installation...?

I upgraded to ITunes 10.5, I can no longer sync my IPhone 3GS . . .
I guess it uses ICoud to sync now and I don't have wireless Internet . . . how do I regress to a previous version of Itunes??
i have tried this but still not working i found a way of fixing it by restoring the phone but this has now put my phone in recovery mode and when i try to fix it i get an error 14 which i have no clue what it means

Contacts no longer syncing from iphone to imac
If I create a new contact, or change an existing one, on my iPhone, it does not show up in Contacts on my iMac. Have I missed some critical iCloud setting?
Check that your phone and your imac are both signed into the same iCloud account. Check that Contacts are switched on, check that you are entering new contacts into the iCloud account (on your phone)
Go to www.icloud.com and enter a new contact, check that the new contact appears on your phone. -
Back in Dec I updated to the new version of Itunes. Since then, I can no longer sync my IPHONE. I have an IPOD that works fine, but the phone is not found on Itunes. I am abled to download pictures to my computer, but I can not sync my music. What can I do?
