I can no longer use the driver for my PSC 1600 Series as of two days ago. The message tells me that the software is not available to update! Has anyone else encountered this. I have OS 10.73 and a MacBookPro
As of two days ago, the ability to print from my MacBookPro to the PSC 1600 Series vanished, indicating they do not have new software ready. I have tried HP and Apple but have not received any help. Can anyone help me to find whatever software that was either lost or not updated. My iMac did have an HP update.

A few general trouble shooting tips that may apply here:
1. If you used Software Update to do the OS update(s) to reach 10.6.7, go to http://support.apple.com/downloads/ and download and apply the Mac OS v10.6.7 Combo Updater. The Combo Updater contains some fixes that were not included in the incremental updaters used by Software Update.
1a. Check that you have the current version of Pages (and of the other iWork applications) installed. All three applications' current version numbers end in .0.5
2. A common cause of malfunctioning applications is a corrupted preferences file (.plist file). Your Pages '09's plist is at yourname > Library > Preferences > com.apple.iWork.pages.plist
Quit Pages, locate the file and Drag it to the Desktop (or to the Trash).
Restart Pages and attempt to open one of the files.
If all is well, Trash the plist file and empty the Trash.
If there's no change, AND you've made changes to the Preferences that you wish to keep, drag the file back to its previous location, replacing any new one that has been created.

Since downloading ios 6 my iPhone 4 will not play itunes when docked - plays ok when not on dock. Has anyone else had this problem?
At least I'm not the only one with the issue. I was looking it up so see if others had the same problem and found a bunch of posts about it. I'm assuming it's not the phone then, it's the software. Should I bring it to the Apple Store? Replacing the phone seems stupid, because the phone isn't really the problem. It's the software! Maybe the iOS 5.0.2 will fix it??? I don't really want to wait though, it's a pain. If a lot of people have this issue it should get Apple's attention. They need to do something to fix it, ASAP!

I have to answer twice on an incoming call on my Iphone 5 before the other party responds. Does anyone else encounter this problem? Thank you.
When you respond to an incoming call by pressing the green button, your cellular provider may take a second or two to actually get the connection going.
Instead of saying "Hello" twice, try waiting a second or two until the first "Hello" from when you click the green button. -
Captivate 8: Getting this message "Unable to locate LMS's API, content may not play properly". Then I get a debug message of "44:Tue Feb 17 2015 : InIsLoaded, returning false". I also see a message in the preview pane when I view the .htm file in the project folder "This course requires JavaScript to be enabled in your browser. Please enable JavaScript, then relaunch the course." JavaScript is already enabled and I'm getting this in IE9 and Chrome 40....Has anyone else seen this?
The first part of your issue will be resolved if you load your course from an LMS. If you are not hosting your content on LMS, you can disable the reporting in your Quiz settings (Edit > Preferences > Quiz > Reporting).
Not sure about the Javascript related issues.

iPad faulty not even one year old......taken in and replaced. Is this a new iPad......? No was told. Old be three years old....why isn't it being replaced with a new one, with a new warranty....of another year.? As they have only given me 90 days... Makes me wonder why.?... The last OS update for SL was OS 10.6.8. If that's the case you posted in the wrong forums. You should be posting in the SL forums.
If you are using Mail for your Gmail account, did you check the sound settings in Mail Preferences? Please detail what you have done so far in the way of troubleshooting? Need this info to avoid the "been there done that" scenarios. -
My iPad 2 Wireless/3G was fully charged. A message appeared saying to update the software. I clicked on "update" The battery immediately discharged and now will not charge again. Does anyone know how to fix this?

PS CC will not let me import a supported file to edit. Has anyone else encountered this?

I have downloaded PS CC trial. Despite my camera being supported, it wont let me import my image to work on. I have run the updates, checked the file format is supported, tried to speak to Adobe who cannot help until Monday (!!!!) and I really need to submit an assignment by Monday.
Has anyone encountered this problem? What did you do to resolve the issue?

Yahoo email stopped pushing the day the ios6.0.1 update came out. Managed to get it back Saturday night, but stopped again last night. I have tried every trick I found in the forums short of restoring my phone, but don't really want to do that if I can help it, since Yahoo push has been sporadic in the past with all my iPhones & don't know if it will even help. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this as well. Thank you.
I haven't tried anything as of yet. I just had this happen like an hour ago n haven't had time to troubleshoot. I did however do a soft reset but haven't written another email to see if its still going on. Im at work n dont have much time until morning.

Here is the description of that error:
Error 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service. -
My iPad4 lives in a smart case, it never even goes out of the house. I baby it to be honest. So why, I ask you, did the volume button suddenly stop working? I tried all the suggested software and general settings I could find but it appears to be a hardware issue. I hope I'm wrong. I can decrease volume down to mute without effort but the volume 'up' function is totally kaputt. Maybe somebody has experienced this problem and found a solution? I'm bummed that my (otherwise) perfect little iPad now has an annoying flaw. - Thank you

I was under the impression that when you get a new mail one of the flags get set automatically. If not, how then do you know which mail is new, which one has been read, which one was replied ... etc?
