I can not access my Iphoto
hi,
I use mac pro mac os version 10.6.8
its my first time using it.
one day I try to import picture from my digital camera(sony cybershoot)
it run well(theres no alert when it has done)
then I open and try to arrange it(no problem}and I closed it
and then I try to opened it but what happen was surprise me and made me stressfull
I CAN NOT OPEN IT.....ITS KEEP LOADING
please help!!!!!
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I can't access iPhoto after Yosemite install/upgrade on my Mac. Upgrade appears to be complete. There are no other applications that need to be updated. Do you mean, the iiPhoto application has been upgraded to iPhoto 9.6, or the iPhoto Library has already been upgraded to iPhoto 9.6 format?

Where is your iPhoto Library? On your My Passport or in the default location in your Pictures folder?
If the iPhoto library is on your external drive, then check the filesystem. iPhoto needs the iPhoto Library to be on a drive formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled). If the filesystem should be wrong, move your iPhoto Library to a drive with the correct filesystem. -

I was editing photos in my iphotos and it froze on me. So I shut down my computer and when I restarted I now can not access them. It says Your photo library is either in use by another application or has become unreadable. What can I do to fix this?
What you're describing is the Finder window for your external hard drive. When you're in iPhoto and try to edit a photo what happens?
Are you saying that the photos for your iPhoto library are located on the external HD while your library is in the Pictures folder on the boot drive? That would indicate a referenced library. You can check to see if you're running a referenced library by checking the Advanced Preference pane in iPhoto:

By default it should be located in your Users/Home/Pictures folder. However, it could be run on an external HD. -
I have upgraded my OS to Mountain Lion and updated Iphoto to latest, however, I still can not access photos sent to me via photo stream. what else do I need to do? I'm $30 into this effort, and no results!
Log out of iCloud in the System/iCloud preference pane and disable Photo Stream in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane. Then log back in and re-enable, respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

How can I access my iPhoto library folder?
My hard drive recently had to be replaced, and when they replaced it, they updated to OSx 10.9. I had not backed up my photos before my hard drive crashed, but they backed up all my files for me. I went to open my iphoto library from the backup files and as a new (to me) version of iphoto 11 opened, I got a message saying that it had to update the photos in my library in order for them to be compatible with this version of iPhoto and that after updating them, I'd no longer be able to read them on an older version of iphoto. I clicked ok. It only imported 9 photos (out of several thousand). I went to finder and tried to open the iphoto library folder (which contains the library file and the cache, etc.), but the folder will not open. Instead, when I click to open the library folder, it brings up iphoto, as though to indicate that my library is there. Did I somehow unknowingly overwrite my library or something?? Any ideas why I can't access my iphoto library? Are my photos gone?
I'm stupid so I don't have copies of the photos anywhere else. I don't have Time Machine or anything. Did I irreversibly screw up??I didn't think to check what photos were there or what the library size was before trying to import at first. How do I restore my backup of the iphoto library? (sorry if that's a stupid question). I checked in the Masters folder and only saw a few of my photos (the same ones that were imported to iphoto).
I definitely know it was a mistake not to have a backup of the photos. It'll be the first thing I do if I can get them back. The mistake I was referring to in my initial post was clicking "ok" when it asked to update---but from what you're saying it sounds like that wouldn't have deleted anything.
I'm thinking maybe the backup is not complete (even though I asked the tech people 5 times if it was!), because I checked the imovie events folder, and it's also empty (and it definitely shouldn't be)! If this turns out to be the case, I may have to go back to the repair place to see if they can still pull files off. -

And you can not put the iPHoto library on a NAS - it MUST always be on a volume formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and mube on a fast wired local connection - it can not be on a Network

When I plug in my Ipod Touch to my computer I can not access my Itunes library. The following message appears "The program cant start because MSVCR80.dll is missing." Also, another message appears as well - "Error 7 Windows error 126" as well as APSDaemon.exe.

Can not access server's on public ip's
Guys,
We have a core switch with two fibre lines connecting us through two different ISP's to the internet. These ISP's have provided us with a range of public ip's each. We have a few routers on some of these ip's and they are working fine and we can access them externally (telnet and ssh).
I am now busy setting up two servers, one on each ISP with their respective public ip's. I can ping the core switch and the isp gateways from the servers and from the core. I have triple checked that there are no active firewalls and I can see that the http ports are open and accessible (TcpView). But for the life of me I can not access those servers externally. I am now completely stumped. I do suspect though that it is a routing problem through the core.

What is the gateway IP address assigned for both servers .

I can not access http://MYSERVER1:50000 site. I get error "The page cannot be displayed. The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.".
But I was able to access even yesterday. Could you tell me any possible problems and how to fix the error?

That means your J2EE engine is not running...
Restart the engine, also check that the DB is up and running.
