After a recent update, I Can no longer access my yahoo mail. Constantly asked to enter my password, which is not accepted in turn. Can someone explain to me what I should do? If it is to reboot, how does one do that? Thx!
Try logging into Yahoo! webmail on your MacBook Pro. Does it prompt you to enter or change the password there?
If that doesn't do it, you could try removing the email account from your iPhone and then adding it again.

On iPad, was originally able to go into Settings > Cellular Data > View Account and view the account info. Now cannot. If try using correct email address and password, get message that account or password are incorrect. If try entering just the email address and clicking "forgot password", get "the email address you entered does not match the email address on file for this device".
But the 3G cellular is still working.
Don't know if related, but this problem began after the reports of the 100,000 iPads/users hack. Leads me to wonder if I got hacked.... or more likely if the system/database that "View Account" normally accesses is offline or being reworked by AT&T.
Any suggestions? Best AT&T contact via Internet? By phone #? By local AT&T store? Via Apple? Use iTunes to reset to factory defaults and start over (risk loss of unlimited plan?)?.
Thanks.Thanks for the replies, I just had the same problem yesterday and it was a misspelled e-mail address, BUT, it did take me three calls to AT&T and more than two and a half hours. The first person didn't even know what I was talking about and gave me a number for iPad support which turned out to be Apple's, so... no help. The second person told me they were there only to solve iPhone problems until I read her your posts, then she tried and tried until the call was cut off (this is AT&T after all). But the third person finally understood, even though it took her almost an hour to get to their iPad support department (she told me it was busy all the time) not before trying with their "technical department" also. I just can't believe that Apple sells millions of these things and AT&T can't supply a direct phone number for this department, or doesn't even train their personnel.

I have a new computer and I can't access my Itunes account. The message says I can't have more than 5 computers on this account and I don't. What can I do?
First of all you should really post this in Itunes forums cause you might get more hits on it.. Anyway.. You can only authorize up to 5 comps on one itunes account.. This does not include iOS devices. Those you can have 10.
So to fix this issue, open itunes, hit store on the left side, click log in (or your e-mail address if you are already logged in) in the top right hard corner of the page. One you log into your account you will see a a little area where it says you authorized 5 out of 5 comps. Below it should be a button to clear all those out. Itunes will de-authorize all computers on the account then you need to go back Store tab in the menu bar and select authorize this computer.
Remember it will deauthorize all your computers, so you need to re-authorize any other computers you have. -
i have had bad luck with computers laitly and have 5 pc allready authorised now i have a new one i cant authorise it so i can not access my itunes account can u deauthroise my pc from my accont so i can access it again

Unlock your account.
They will block checking if you check too often from a variety of IP's. So jumping from Cell, to Wifi, to Cell, to another Wifi, etc a lot they will block remote checking and only allow web checking until unlocked.
Can also happen if you have a computer setup to check at a high interval. -

Your profile indicates your Mac is running v10.7.2
If that is correct, updating your system software may help.
Click Software Update from the Apple menu.
Restart your Mac after updates are installed then try the App Store.
If you can't update that way, there's a workaround.
Install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.5 (Client Combo)
Then restart your Mac and try the App Store.

And is the iOS device or Mac signed into the old ID ("email") in Settings>iCloud (System Preferences>iCloud)? -
My iPhone 4s will not connect to my yahoo account following the recent update. It appears with Error 1032. I have tried deleting the account resetting my phone, changing the password - none of this has worked. Could you please provide me with some advice?
I had this same problem with my new MBP 15", but only with the USB port on the left side. The USB port on the right side worked fine. Perhaps the ports on the left don't have enough signal energy for the iPhone.
Anyway, try using a different USB port, and if that doesn't work, perhaps you could try a powered USB hub. -

Going on the page that you've posted from I assume that you've forgotten the answers to your security questions (?). If you have forgotten them and you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use, or you could change to 2-step verification : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5570

I can log into my Yahoo account okay. However, when I go to access and open my mail, there seems to be this endless searching, as if firefox is sifting through my files but does not stop. It keeps going on forever.
I have this problem too from many days ago, i have tryed to disable the add ons, but it was useless. And the the weird thing is that I cannot access from any other browser (Safari/chrome).

You'll have to connect it to wifi so you can sign in with your password to authenticate the account. If the pop-up is blocking you, try resetting the iPad (hold the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release). As soon as you can after it restarts, go to Settings>Wifi and connect to your home network before the pop-up comes back.

That looked helpful so I followed the Restore directions you sent me to. Now the trouble is that I've wiped all my data (having backed up first) and when I come to restore from my backup it again asks me for a password - which I haven't set.
I have definitely not lost any password - I keep all of them in an mSecure file vault. I have a record of a passcode for the phone itself but that does not work.
Is there any way i get get inside my iPhone Backup and find the mysterious password? None of the ones i use work!
