I can not activate my i phone 4 because of password which i dont know
please help me find out this question i bought the iphone 4 from craiglist guy ,unfortunately i didnot know that it had password and icloud account srill in it ,because it was working with my sim but yesturday i was trying to reset it on security and location something like that after rest the i phone turns on to put password for the [email protected] .I am very upset because it was not my fault that it is not working please help me to solve this issue. The only way to unlock this is with the original Apple ID and password. Nobody here can help you. Contact the seller. If he/she is unable or unwilling to help you, then the phone is most likely stolen. Which is why iOS 7 has an anti-theft feature; to prevent the situation that you now find yourself in.

Updating or upgrading depends on what version of OS X you are running. A G5 Mac can not go further than Leopard 10.5.8 as all later versions of OS X require an Intel preocessor.

I bought my ipad 2 from an acquintance. I updated my software to iOS7 and after that was when all this started. I got locked out because I was not using the right password. After that, I restored my ipad. After learning that the previous owner had to remove the ipad from their account, I contacted her and she did remove it. Now, when I get to the Activate screen, it will not take my ID and password. I've done all the steps necessary but can not get past this. I've read so many threads and other articles on restoring and having the previous owner remove it, I've done all of that, but what do I do now? Please help! Thank you.

My battery was not working properly (kept running out over a few hours.) I was advised at the apple store to restore my iphone which i did. When i try to restore it to my back up it keeps asking for a password but i have no idea what this password is? could anyone help?
If your backup is encrypted, you cannot restore without the password.
You can continue to backup but you cannot restore without password.
There's no way to retrieve the password.
Warning: Make sure it's a password you will remember or write it down for safekeeping. If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and forget your password, you can't restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable.

Sometimes the activation server is just not available for a short time. Trying again usually corrects this problem. But as Peter Gillespie suggests, if the iPhone you are trying to activate has ever been jailbroken, or the computer you are using to activate the phone has been used to jailbreak an iOS device then you will get the Activation Server not Available message.

My sim no 8944200009770020287You probably won't be able to use a Malaysian sim card in your phone. If you purchased the phone from 3, then it is probably carrier locked to 3 and it won't work with any other sim card.
Nobody here can do anything to help you. You need to contact 3, so you need to ring them or go back to the store where you purchased the phone. Not a lot you can do other than activate with the original 3 sim card in situ so that the phone will work.
You can try activating the phone with the 3 sim card and then try swapping them, but I suspect that the phone is carrier locked to 3 and you need to contact them for help. Noone else can do anything really except them. -

You need to use the credentials for the iCloud account that was used to turn on the Find my iPhone service.

If you've been walking around for 2 years with someone else's account set up for Find my iphone, then you'll have to get hold of that individual. If you can't, there is no way to bypass activation lock. -

You need a Sim inside the iPhone to activate it. If the iPhone is locked to a carrier, you need a Sim from that carrier. The person who sold you the iPhone should be able to give you that information, but if it is not available, you need to get it from Apple Care. Call them.
